"The library fell into a hushed silence as Ms. Wistera's commanding voice rang out, calling the trio of Kizuya, Ren, and Hanako to attention.
"Kizuya, Ren, Hanako, did you forget about our training? I will gladly deny you the opportunity for advanced learning if you're not interested."
"We're coming, ma'am," the three replied in unison, their voices laced with a mix of respect and urgency.
They made their way to the mock arena, the vibrant hues of sunset casting a warm glow over the surroundings.
"Listen up, students. In advanced magic, observation is key. Most spells at this level are agile and deliver substantial magical damage," Ms. Wistera began, her eyes focused on her attentive pupils.
With practiced ease, she demonstrated spells like Stone Bullet, Flame Blast, and Earth Thorn. Hanako's eyes widened in amazement at the speed and power of the magical projectiles, while Kizuya and Ren watched with a sense of calm understanding.
"Isn't it amazing, Kizu-kun?" Hanako gushed, her voice carrying a hint of admiration.
Kizuya's eyebrow twitched, a slight annoyance creeping into his tone. "Stop calling me Kizu-kun. Kizuya is just fine."
Hanako chimed, her voice holding a note of playful possessiveness. "Come on, Kizu-kun..."
Before Hanako could make a move, Ren swiftly intervened. "Never lay a finger on my boy."
"Eh? Um... Don't fight, girls. It's okay," Kizuya interjected, trying to diffuse the tension.
Both Hanako and Ren stuttered, their faces turning slightly pink in embarrassment.
"Hey, students, no tantrums while I'm teaching," Ms. Wistera remarked with a knowing glint in her eyes. "Perhaps you two would like to demonstrate your skills? Kizuya, could you step aside for a moment?"
"Yes, ma'am," Kizuya complied, a hint of concern in his gaze as he watched the unfolding situation.
Ren shot a meaningful look at Kizuya. "Wait, Ren, don't fight Hanako."
"Yeah, that's right. Don't challenge me, because I'll reduce you to dust," Hanako retorted, her determination evident.
Ren's eyes widened. "Now you're challenging me.
Ren's patience reached its limit, her temper flaring as she summon her creature, "Light Dragon!"
"Hold on, only that? Abyssal Beast!"
Both summoned creatures materialized before them. Hanako's summon, a petite girl with long purple hair and a short skirt, radiated an air of summoner expertise.
Kizuya couldn't believe his eyes. "Wha-? Hanako, you're not afraid of Ren?!"
"Why would I be... K-Ki-Zu-kun?" Hanako stammered, her voice betraying her own internal struggles.
Hanako's words triggered something in Ren. Her eyes blazed with a fiery determination as her summoning aura surged. The battle commenced, but it wasn't a clash of magical creatures—it was a clash of emotions, an intense surge of conflicting energies, and a testament to the rivalry that had unknowingly ignited between Ren and Hanako.
"Ren, Hanako, this is unnecessary!" Kizuya shouted, his voice filled with a mix of concern and frustration.
However, his words seemed to fall on deaf ears as the two girls engaged in a chaotic magical showdown. Their auras intertwined, creating a whirlwind of energy that crackled and surged around them.
"Rennel, ensure that no one interferes with their battle," The headmaster instructed calmly.
"Understood, Shishou," Rennel replied, his presence a reassuring anchor amidst the growing storm of emotions.
As the battle raged on, the clash between Ren and Hanako encapsulated the tangled web of emotions and desires that had been quietly building, threatening to unravel the fragile equilibrium between the trio. In the midst of their magical duel, their unspoken words and unacknowledged feelings were laid bare, forming a pivotal moment that would leave a lasting impact on their journey.
The tension in the mock arena gradually subsided as the battle between Hanako and Ren came to an inconclusive halt. Both summoners, with their equally matched creatures, couldn't claim victory over the other.
"I will never give you my boy, Hanako!"
"Shut up, he's mine," Ren retorted, her determination unyielding.
Caught in the middle of the girls' clash, Kizuya felt his head spinning as their words echoed in his mind.
"Hey girls, I don't belong to anyone!" Kizuya interjected, his frustration evident.
The two girls exchanged unhappy glances before simultaneously offering their apologies. Kizuya reassured them, "It's alright now."
The bickering continued for a moment longer, fueled by their affections for him. Kizuya couldn't help but sigh, realizing the complicated situation he found himself in.
"This wouldn't have happened if this girl didn't show up in the first place," Hanako muttered under her breath.
Ren shot back, her tone dripping with defiance, "Hey, you're the one who doesn't deserve him."
Kizuya listened to their argument, a mixture of amusement and exasperation playing on his features. The tension escalated as they both made claims over him, until Hanako eventually stormed off the arena with a promise of continuation, leaving behind her declaration: "This is not over yet! Kizu-kun... You will be mine!"
Left alone in the aftermath, Kizuya turned to Ren, his expression a blend of confusion and curiosity. "Now I understand what's happening. Ren, do you like me?"
"Eeh... Ehhh... Ano.... Ummm... See you in the room later!" Ren stammered before hastily retreating.
Kizuya was left pondering her response, his mind racing as he tried to process the unexpected turn of events.
"It sure is hard handling two girls, isn't it, Kizuya?" Ms. Wistera's voice broke through his thoughts.
Kizuya let out a heavy sigh, his shoulders slumping. "Yes, Ms. Wistera."
The instructor and Kizuya engaged in a conversation, dissecting the intricate dynamics that had unfolded. After their discussion, Kizuya made his way back to the room he shared with Ren.
Upon entering, he found Ren seated at the edge of her bed, her demeanor contemplative. Kizuya's gaze softened as he took in her presence.
"About what I asked you earlier, why did you run?" he inquired gently.
Ren hesitated for a moment before finally revealing a canvas with a beautifully painted image. Kizuya's eyes widened in surprise as he studied the painting, his heart skipping a beat at the sight of himself captured in her artwork.
"So you do like me," he mused, a small smile tugging at his lips.
Ren's cheeks flushed, and she averted her gaze. "Why didn't you say so?" he continued, his voice warm with understanding.
Ren met his gaze, her expression a mix of embarrassment and sincerity. "Come on, if you were in my place, it's embarrassing."
Kizuya chuckled softly, his heart feeling lighter. "Yeah, I suppose you're right. It's not an easy thing to admit."
As the evening moon cast a warm glow through the window, their conversation lingered in the air, weaving a delicate thread of connection between them. The realization of their feelings had added a new layer to their friendship, and Kizuya couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for what the future held.
As they were just about to sleep, the academy alert bell rang.
"All the students of the academy, seek shelter to the evacuation area. There is a Nocturnal Dreadfiend about to raid our academy. I call Kizuya Iyuko and Ren Luminara to the office, now!"
They teleported to the headmaster's office.
"Kizuya and Ren, the monster you will encounter is very stealthy and is hard to defeat, If you can't defeat it only you two I shall call the 5 other emperor level students"
"What?"
"Now leave!"
They encounter the Nocturnal Dreadfiend, it's a very tall looking and is as hard as an obsidian.
"Let's summon our creatures for assistance, Earth Leviathan!"
"Light Dragon"
While they fight the Nocturnal Dreadfiend, it releases a very dark energy. Their creatures instantly fainted and they got knocked back.
"This guy is really tough"
They use their full power and managed to destroy it's left arm.
"Ren, tell the headmaster that this monster can't be defeated by only the two of us"
She did what Kizuya commanded. The headmaster sent an assistance from the five other emperor level students.
They have come to the location where the enemy is.
"Having hard time?" Rimuru asked. "I'm Rimiru, emperor of the water". An elegant boy with light blueish hair and marine blue coat.
"Whatever just help me here"
"It's so rude of you..."
The other four came along with Ren.
The Water Emperor is Rimiru, he control water elements at his will with devastating magic damage. Along with him is his friend Aoi, She is the Tempest Empress, she has a green hair and an emerald green eyes similar to Kizuya. The other two is Rudeu the Flame emperor and Reira the Plant Emperor.
They defeated the monster in their final balst.
They introduced themselves to each other.
"Why aren't you two given a title emperor?, are you even emperor level students?"
"Yes we are, I don't know how you all get those fancy titles but we are emperor level students too"
"Based on you two's attacks as the leader of all the seven emperor students I may give you title too, you... Kizu you are the Earth Emperor and... uhh... Ren you are the light Empress"
"Okay whatever"
"You two are so rude in your behavior, well then we're off now. It is nice to meet the other two emperors"
Returning to the academy, Kizuya and Ren wore frustrated expressions that mirrored their inner turmoil. The encounter with the Nocturnal Dreadfiend had left them with a mix of emotions – a blend of relief that the threat had been neutralized, and a lingering sense of inadequacy that they had required assistance from their fellow emperor level students.
As they walked through the familiar hallways, their footsteps echoed with a hint of exhaustion. The weight of the recent battle and the pressure of their responsibilities bore down on them, casting a somber shadow over their thoughts. They had trained hard and honed their skills, yet the Nocturnal Dreadfiend had pushed them to their limits, revealing a gap in their abilities that they hadn't anticipated.
"It's frustrating, isn't it?" Ren broke the silence, her voice tinged with a mixture of disappointment and determination.
Kizuya nodded, his jaw clenched. "Yeah, we're supposed to be emperor level students, but we struggled against that monster."
Ren's gaze met his, her determination unwavering. "We can't let this discourage us. Instead, let's take it as an opportunity to grow even stronger."
He appreciated her unwavering resolve and offered a faint smile. "You're right. We can use this experience to identify our weaknesses and work on them."
Their frustration fueled a newfound determination as they embarked on a journey of self-improvement. They sought out their mentors and trainers, eager to receive guidance and refine their techniques. The days that followed were filled with intense training sessions, each one pushing their limits and challenging their capabilities.
In the evenings, as the sun dipped below the horizon and cast a warm glow across the academy grounds, Kizuya and Ren would often find themselves back at the training area. The memory of the Nocturnal Dreadfiend's dark energy and the echoes of their battle served as a constant reminder of their goal – to become stronger, more skilled, and better prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead.
With each training session, they pushed themselves further, honing their magical abilities and refining their teamwork. They sparred with one another, engaging in intense battles that tested their reflexes and strategic thinking. Through sweat and determination, they chipped away at their weaknesses and embraced the opportunity for growth.
Their efforts didn't go unnoticed. The other emperor level students, once skeptical of their abilities, began to take notice of Kizuya and Ren's dedication and progress. They offered words of encouragement and even shared some of their own experiences and insights, bridging the gap that had initially set them apart.
As weeks turned into months, Kizuya and Ren's frustration gradually transformed into a sense of accomplishment. They could feel themselves becoming more adept, more attuned to their magical prowess, and more in sync with each other's actions. The memory of the Nocturnal Dreadfiend became a driving force, propelling them forward and reminding them of the importance of their pursuit.
One evening, under the starlit sky, Kizuya and Ren stood side by side in the training area. Their auras intertwined, a testament to their growing strength and unwavering determination. The moon cast a gentle glow upon them, illuminating their faces with a sense of purpose and resolve.
"We've come a long way," Ren mused, her voice tinged with a mix of nostalgia and pride.
Kizuya nodded, a smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, and we're not stopping here. We'll keep pushing ourselves, becoming stronger with each challenge we face."
Hand in hand, they shared a moment of camaraderie and mutual understanding. The Nocturnal Dreadfiend's attack had been a turning point, a catalyst for their growth and a testament to their resilience. As they looked toward the future, they knew that whatever obstacles they encountered, they would face them together – a team forged in the fires of determination and bound by an unbreakable bond.
