" This is An Jinchuan" One of his friends said but I was busy staring at his face.
His face was well carved and he looked like people that are only seen in anime or comics book. He looked like someone that came out straight from the screen.
His perfectly chiseled jaw with no sign of a stubble in his face. He had pink lips, with pointed nose that made him more handsome. Even his eyes looked so impressive.
" What am I doing" I thought as I came to my senses but I could see his knowing smile. He must have known that I was admiring him and it looked like he was already used to it.
" Little girl, why are you looking for me" He asked again.
" Your parents are at the admin office and I was sent to call you." I said before going out not giving him a chance to say anything again.
I hated embarrassing myself and I did just that now.
I could hear laughter before and I was sure it was because of my frozen state.
There was no way that he was a simp like I had thought before and he did not seem nerdy because I literally saw him playing game on his phone when I caught a glimpse of why his mind was occupied and he was even playing music.

" You scared that girl away" My friends joked as the girl who just came to call me left.
" She did not look scared to me" Another one said.
" Do you know her" I asked them.
" Her face looks familiar" One said, " I remember now, her name is Shen Tian Wian"
" That's true" Someone chipped in, " The whole school knows her, the pampered daughter of the Shen family and the smartest student in her class"
" She is really impressive. Pretty, smart, wealthy and a little cold . Didn't you see the way she just waltzed in not minding what you bunch of fools were saying" A girl in my class said.
" She is just like you" One of my my friend said referring to me "Except the cold part. Our Chuan is the kindest person I know" He said but my mind was elsewhere.
" How come I had not seen her before. Her face was really hard to forget" I thought as I remember the little joy I had in me when I saw her checking me out. I was used to it but hers felt different and for once, I felt really smug about my looks.
" I will go find my parents now. When I come back, I will beat your ass in the game" I said to my best friend who was quietly sitting on the other side of the class and with who I was in a match with.
"I will like to see you try" He said
" I was playing music and still beating you" I said.
" You know that is not true. The scores speak for itself" He said calmly. He was actually right as he had beat me badly on the game but I will never admit defeat.
He was second to me in class but he was always first when it came to game. He plans to open a game company after school.
We have been friends since the beginning of high school. He was actually on a scholarship and was really quiet. I think that drew me closer to him. He hardly talks to anyone in class but he also has a bad history so I don't bother trying to make him socialize. He will get there eventually.
" My baby" My mom said hugging me as soon as I entered the admin office a.k.a my father's office whenever he visited school.
" Mum, you saw me just this morning and I am no longer a child" I said. My mother was overly hyperactive and emotional. She was like that to almost everyone she meets and more to her children, me and my elder sister.
" Just accept the greeting" My father said. He was my mother's greatest supporter and their love was like one that came out straight from a Hallmark movie.
" You can spoil her alone" I said which earned me a spank in the butt from my mom.
" Mom!!!" I said while she started laughing and I could see my father holding his laugh.
" We called for you a long time. Why are you coming just now?" My mother asked me.
" I just heard of it now and I rushed her immediately so as not to waste my precious mother's time" I said hugging her.
" Awww. My son is so sweet" My mom said while my father scrunched his face.
" And you say I pamper her" My father said.
" He is just jealous" My mom said brushing him off.
" Discard me when your precious son is around and pick me up when he is not around" My father said complaining but I could see him smiling.
" Why did you call me" I asked her finally.
" Oh that. I just missed my son and the teachers are busy right now so I know you don't have a class. Besides, you are always busy at home" She said.
" Mom, I am in school!!" I said.
" I told her" My father chipped in.
" Is it a crime now to miss one's son and I also wanted you to meet someone" She said.
" Who is that" I asked.
" Mr Shen but he left because he was really busy. His daughter goes to this school" My mother said, " She is really pretty and smart" The way my mom was talking made me know that she has already found another target.
" Wait---- Is his daughter's name Shen Tiang Wian" I asked my mom remembering the girl from earlier.
" Yes, That's her name. Very lovely girl" My mother answered, " Do you know her" She asked.
" She was the one who called me" I answered honestly.
" That's good. Isn't she pretty" My mother asked me.
" She's okay" I answered.
" Just okay" My mom asked.
" Yes, I will be going now." I said not answering my mother's obvious tricky question judging by the sparkle in her eyes.
" You have not been here long" My mom said.
" I don't want to disobey school rule because I know the owner" I teased.
" Who cares" She said scoffing and folding her hands.
" Dad, take care of your wife. Bye" I said knowing that my dad would most probably have his hands full with my mother.
