" What did Miss Song want" Sui Sui asked me when I came back to the class.
" She asked me to go call senior An Jinchuan" I answered.
" Oh my God, you are so lucky" Sui Sui said.
" Are you crazy. How am I lucky after being sent to the lion's den" I said.
" Oh, I totally forgot about that" She said.
" But at least you got to talk to him even for a few seconds and look at that pretty face. Moreover, his class is not as bad as the rest. They are the top students though" Sui Sui said.
In my school, as soon as you enter your final year, they usually divide the classes by their aggregate and no longer just anyhow.
" They still made foolish jokes" I said.
" I don't really mind. How I wish I was you girl and I got to talk to him. He is always surrounded by his classmates and I heard he was super nice. He once got a gift for a junior just because she told him it was her birthday" Sui Sui said.
" He didn't look so nice" I said remembering his smug look when he caught me checking him out.
" Nobody ever looks nice to you" Sui Sui said teasingly.
" You look nice to me" I sad to her.
" Aww, I am blushing" She said fanning herself.
" Just cut it out" I said.
It was time for physics class and they usually mix two sets together during science classes.
Many people in our school were children of politician or businessmen so they were mostly going for courses that will help them manage their parents legacies.
Being a science students was a form of rebellion I did because of my father but he did not even seem to care. It was as if I was never even included in the plans for his business.
Not that I minded though. Science had slowly become my thing and at least, I knew I was doing this for myself.
" Hey" Someone said taking the chair beside me. It was a new familiar voice I had just heard recently
" Senior An" I said surprised he was beside me. I never saw him in class before and I expected him to also take over his father's business.
" Why the senior. You were calling my full name in my class earlier" He said with a smile as if we had known each other for a long time.
" That was because I wanted to find the right person I was looking for" I said.
" I couldn't get your name" He said.
" I am pretty sure you already know it" I said after seeing Sui Sui wink at me from the back of the class.
" What a traitor" I thought. She was the one who usually sat beside me.
" You caught me" He said as he raised his hands in surrender.
" Tiang Wian, right? How come..."
" Can everyone settle down now and pay attention. " Our physics teacher came interrupting what Jinchuan was about to say.
" Like I was saying, How..." He tried to continue what he was saying but this time, it was not a teacher that interrupted him.
" Can you allow me concentrate on class. I am in mood to talk to anyone" I said rudely so he could leave me alone.
All this popular guys usually needed something when they tried getting close and I was definitely not interested.
" We will talk after class" He said as he concentrated on his book.
Through to his words, after class, he kept on pestering me.
" Can you just leave me alone" I said.
" Try looking into my eyes and saying it" He had found out that I had a weakness for his face and could not speak coherent words while staring at him so he kept on using it against me.
" What do you want from me" I asked him.
" To be friends" he said.
" I don't want that" I said.
" Why?" He asked.
We have had the exact same discussion many times since we left physics class. unluckily for me, it was break time so there was no class to excuse myself too.
I am pretty sure that he would follow me to class if I went there.
" Don't you have anything to do?" I asked him.
" No" he said shaking his head.
" Do you know you are really annoying" I said.
Sui Sui came at that time and I had never been more grateful. I was not used to just persistent guys and it was easy for me to just shun those that approach me.
But for Jinchuan, I could be harsh but not very harsh and he really did not seem to care if I was harsh.
" I have to go now. My friend need me" I said as I dragged Sui Sui out of there. I am sure that she was going to contradict what I just said if she stayed for few more seconds.
" Why are you running away? He is so handsome, Did you see his smile?" She said already gushing.
" Every guy is attractive to you " I said.
" That is not true" She said defensively.
" Anyways, you need to see his friend. If cute was a person" She said gushing about someone else.
" How did you meet his friend" I asked her.
" He was beside me" She said, " Let me tell you the story"
" So Jinchuan walked up to me and asked me to exchange seat and I happily refused because who can say no to that face. When I sat down, I saw this really attractive guy but guess what, he did not say anything throughout although I am sure our eyes met once" She said all excited.
" Anyway, I asked around for him and his name is Jiaxu. He even has the same name as my celebrity crush. Well, he is also quiet and kind of mysterious. He is really smart too. I think I just found a husband" She finished.
" You are past helping. You have really gone nut" I said while she just laughed amd out her arms over my shoulder as we left.
I flinched from the sudden pain there and moved my body away.
" What happened?" She asked worriedly obviously noticing my little sign of discomfort.
" No. Let's go" I said as we went back to class.
