Kilin's good mood extended to the next day. She walked down the halls with a spring in her step despite the strange looks she was getting. She had even brought Keele and Arwen some breakfast on her way to school.
She stepped into the nosy classroom, the early morning sunlight filtering through the windows and casting a warm glow on the students' desks. Balancing two cups of steaming cappuccino and two freshly baked muffins in her hands, she made her way towards Keele's desk, a bright smile stretching across her face.
"Good morning," Kilin greeted cheerfully, placing the cups of cappuccino and the muffins on her desk. "I thought you could use a little pick-me-up."
Keele, who had spent the night watching endless cat videos instead of getting a good night's sleep, blinked in surprise. She rubbed her tired eyes and mustered a half-hearted smile. "Well, aren't you a ray of sunshine?" she muttered, her annoyance evident in her voice.
