"A family is your home," she answered as she poured out milk into a cup and two chopsticks. She gave it to him and urged him to eat. He must not have eaten his dinner since he was all alone.
Luyang put the first bite in his mouth, perplexed by what she said. He never had a family, yet Lixin said he was his home and would keep on protecting him. So, did he mean that he was his family? His brows furrowed just thinking about it.
"Aiyoo! Why do you ask such a question?" Mingxia laughed while patting Lixin's head. She too did not know how to deeply explain what a family meant, so she only stuck with a simple definition. "I do not have a family,"
She stopped after saying it, deeply gazing into Luyang's eyes. Somehow, saying such made her alright. She no longer feared what people might think of her when she said that. Maybe Luyang's situation gave her hope. Luyang pouted his lips and wrote on the blank sheet.
{I am not hungry. I will sleep now}
