"Mr. Jiang, Thank you. " Te said it in one breath. "I have to leave. I can't keep bothering you anymore. I am sorry for the inconvenience I have caused you," she kept on saying.
Jiang Shi stared into her pitch-black pupils and found nothing. It was as if she was a lifeless patient who had been diagnosed never to wake up from a coma. Jiang Shi pursued his lips in thin air and reasoned out many ways of talking to Te.
"You are not an inconvenience to me at all. I am happy to help a friend like you. You stress out too much and remember, I am always here for you!" Shi declared, looking deeply into her eyes. His palms engulfed hers as his lips spread into a simple, broadened smile.
Te gawked at him, speechless about what to say. It was as if his words had wholly healed her broken world and installed hope in her. She became flustered, and her tomato-red cheeks were the evidence of that.
