As they went outside of the bar, Lian Qiang made a phone call to Zhang Jin but he wasn't answering her call. She hissed. "Answer my call, please!" She tried calling him again putting the phone on her ear waiting for his answer but unfortunately he didn't answer again.
She cursed out of frustration and disappointment to Zhang Jin. 'Why did he left the mansion!' she screamed inside of her, putting her palm on her forehead, sign of her disappointment.
"Officer Qiang, I think we should go there immediately." Liu Xian suggested. They both went to their own car but Liu Xian suggests, "Just leave it there, we'll go back here later. Get inside my car." He said letting her get inside his car.
"Let me drive." She hurriedly went inside the driver seat leaving Liu Xian dumbfounded about the misgiving action of the woman. But he just let the woman do what to do and promptly went inside the passenger's seat instead.
Lian Qiang started the vehicle without hesitation. The patrol officer she talked about earlier told them the exact location of the place where the drag race happened.
The patrol officer she had called with earlier told her that one of the names involved in drag racing and trouble was, Zhang Jin. The patrol officer told her about it since, they knew she was part of the mission to protect the young man. They told her that he got into a fight as well.
The sun soon begins to set, but the orange-blue sky lets the surroundings provide a faint glow. They arrived at the place that was told to them. She hasn't even gone out yet in the car when she already thought about Zhang Jin at once. Her heart raced when she witnessed, Zhang Jin had blood on his forehead, messy hair and all his body and clothes was dirty because of the dust when they got into a fight.
Beside him, there were group of people that seemed to be part of the gang that were also captured by the police with the Orphan Mission. She thought that those groups of people were relevant to Zhang Jin's threat or they were members of the masked man who were after him.
There were six of them.
She immediately went towards Zhang Jin but the patrol officer halted her from running towards him. Zhang Jin felt the guilt inside of him. He doesn't even know how to explain to the woman about running away from the mansion.
"Officer Lian and Officer Liu," one of the patrol officer. They saluted each other when they saw them. "We captured him because he was involved in a drag racing bet with them." He was pertaining to Zhang Jin and pointed to the group when he said "them".
"They also made trouble because this guy--" He pointed to Zhang Jin. "-won the bet. They couldn't take their loss so they chose to beat him" He continued.
The four members of the Orphan Mission were alerted when one of the members of the said gangster group tried to get away from the grip of each police patrol but they pointed the gun at them so they felt secured and they couldn't getting away. Four of them had hand cuffs while two of them were gripped by the police patrol.
"Drop!" A woman shouted, one of the members of the Orphan Mission.
The said group immediately kneels down attempting to drop down, raising their both hands in the air. "I said drop!" She shouted more and pointed the gun at a guy who wasn't listening to what she screamed for. The guy immediately dropped his body down who was terrified.
The police patrols explained about what happened. After that, they decided to force them to get inside the car. All of them. But then she straight away requested the officer that Zhang Jin will come to her since he was her responsibility for allowing him to get out, besides, it was her mission. Even though she lied about letting him out.
They're not far yet when she walked towards one of the patrol officers. "Officer Go, I need to talk to them. I need some details about that group." The patrol officer immediately nodded his head to Lian Qiang.
After they talked, Liu Xian followed to talk with the patrol officer about some matters.
From this, she could feel something inside her, an excitement that this mission will be successful someday. Just a little bit, a little suffering now and this will transcend her mission fully. But before that, she still needs to accept the fact that this mission does not conform to what she wants, there are still obstacles that are getting in her way for sure.
She wanted to protect Zhang Jin and eager to complete her mission.
When that gang already went inside the car, her gaze started to become furious. She let out a heavy sigh and faced Zhang Jin behind her. She looked at her with a deadly look. "What were you thinking! I told you already, you shouldn't go out!" She called out leaving Zhang Jin speechless. His guilt and conscience eats him.
The moment the group of gang beat him was creeping him out. He was so afraid of that time praying that Lian Qiang would come and help him out and not until he saw police went by and caught them. That made him feel relieved.
He couldn't gauge the woman's authority. His eyes were full of fear because of what had happened. Every part of his body ached. It took a second before he said, "I'm sorry." that's the only thing that came out of his mouth.
The surroundings seemed to get blurry for him. He could feel his body's weight that he would fall anytime. Even his eyes were heavy and he wanted to take a rest. Lian Qiang's nervousness knows no bounds when Zhang Jin immediately lost his consciousness and she right away caught his body, calling out for his name.
