When the line between fantasy myth history and reality is blurry

Ever since time immemorial humans have sought an explanation to each and every thing that eludes their understanding. In them there is an inborn hubris, a desire to attain the knowledge on par with that of the gods they so graciously worship, sometimes they could explain those unknown phenomena ushering in a major development, a true world changing event would occur as seen with each point this happened having been a turning point in human history. However in instances where they happened to fail to comprehend certain things, they would call those phenomena magic or miracles. Where they wrong? Maybe but one thing for certain was that the world as we know it is truly a mysterious existence. Is it alive? Absolutely, it is bith a loving and cruel entity that forces its inhabitants into a game of survival of the fittest, the weak perish while the fittest adapt and evolve and this process always comes with a drastic change to the land. When the Neanderthal man continued evolving into what we call homo sapiens, the world saw a great change, communication developed and technology took leaps and bounds in improvement, people went from stone tools to artificial intelligence and so on. As noted above, no matter what era mother earth always makes sure that the golden rule is at play, only the fittest are fit to survive, she certainly does not look kindly towards the weak. The history of mankind has seen many upheavals but none as pronounced as the World wars rightly dubbed so as they covered roughly the entire planet. We however are interested in the ending of the Second World war which was brought about mainly by the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. This was the act that mother nature used to usher in a new change, after years the country of Japan started reporting cases of mutated people among those who were exposed to the radiation of the nuclear weapons. Cases of people with unnaturally long life spans appeared and some even growing animalistic features. It was however the skirmish of Russia and Ukraine in the year 2022 that was the deciding factor. Many countries became interested and involved in the war, when another superpower namely the United States of America joined the power struggle many countries took to arms too and a great mayhem befell the land. This was no small skirmish after all it became a direct clash of the two leading military giants. Lives were lost, children became orphans, wives became widows, husbands became widowers and grandparents lost their grandchildren. In no time the skirmish had spread all over the world resulting in another great war one which was dubbed the Third World War or as it came to be known, The Final War. After six years of unending bloodshed the use of nuclear weapons was done again and again and again unti what was left was a world fully covered with radiation, more than half the world's population was lost and the world was reshaped with boundaries remade. These where not the most notable of changes as true to her word mother nature always makes sure that the fittest survive. A new evolution occurred, that of lifeforms who were immune to the dire effects of the radiation that covered the land. These lifeforms evolved and gained the ability to harness the radiation that now filled the land thereby developing special abilities that had always been thought of as fiction, they discovered they could use this new ability to demonstrate feats that where hitherto dubbed as superhuman. A great chaotic era followed an era known as the Genesis whose end gave rise to new nations and countries. These individuals who were born not only immune to the nuclear radiation but with special abilites were later dubbed the homo Superinas and they became the leading resources of any given nation especially for military. A lot changed during the Genesis also known to history as the Age of the Gods. Techno-sorcery was developed to help the human body to efficiently utililise the energy around them. Technology went through leaps and bounds for centuries until a break through was made, the WORLD SYSTEM GAEA.
