"Haaa.... Haa... Urgh!"
A man heavily breathing ran through the forest, his left arm nowhere to be seen as he grunted in pain trying to block the blood from flowing.
"That brat... I really underestimated him, I can't believe someone at the third stage could kill a second realm wolf in one strike."
"I must report this to the sect master, our plans for another sacrifice will most likely be held back by this incident."
Speaking to himself he made his way through the empty forest, a forest once full of beasts.

"I'll offer this to you one last time, Yang Si was it? Join the Sword Peak and I'll make you my personal disciple."
Yao Miya, the elder of the Sword Peak was currently making a deal with Siphyr after learning that he has sword intent.
"I'll say this and I'll repeat it as many times as you want, Elder Yao, but I'm not interested in joining another peak."
Siphyr said and he turned around, it was rude to do this to an elder but considering his talent, Elder Yao didn't mind.
Instead, she pursued him.
"Yang Si, your talent with the sword will only be wasted if you stay there, come join my sect and become my personal disciple, I promise I'll treat you greatly."
She said one last time and Siphyr turned around and in a voice that contained unwillingness to change his decision, he said.
"I'm sorry Elder Yao, but I have to refuse your offer and this is my final decision. Also... I already have a master."
With that he turned around and began walking towards the city, leaving behind Elder Yao of the Sword Peak.
"Haa... What a waste of talent, but I can't change his decision so it would be useless to try and convince him at this point." She mumbled in defeated voice.
"But... he said he has a master, if his master is the one who taught him the sword, I would like to meet him or her if given a chance."
She was curious about Siphyr's master's identity but she didn't dwell on it too long and walked towards the group of disciples.
"Yu Shu Wang, I'll be heading back first or do you disciples want me to give you a lift?" Elder Yao offered to which Yu Shu Wang refused.
"It's fine Elder Yao, we can't trouble you, we already prepared our carriage and we'll be leaving in a few minutes."
Hearing him refuse, Elder Yao nodded and said no more.
She then tore a space crack that could fit a single person before going inside vanishing in thin air.
"No matter how many times I see it, the elders ability to tear through space is just amazing." Exclaimed the female disciple to which another agreed.
"Right? The power to tear through space is really convenient, if I had that I wouldn't even need to travel for hours."
They voiced their opinions and the others couldn't help but agree with them.
Then, they made their way to the carriage by going through the city once more.

"Disciples of the Moonlight Palace, please accept our thanks for saving us from the beast tide!"
The city lord bowed and expressed his thanks from the bottom of his heart. Seeing this the disciples felt bitter as the one who did most of the work was Siphyr.
Even so, they accepted his gratitude out of courtesy and left the city.
During the long ride to return back to the sect, almost all of the disciples were caught staring at Siphyr from time to time.
They were in awe of his abilities that he showed, so they looked like they had many questions in mind.
Especially those from the Archer Peak who couldn't stop their curiosity and asked the questions they had in mind.
"Disciple Yang, the energy we felt from you earlier... Was that really bow intent and aura?" Questioned the man wearing a blue robe.
To answer his question, Siphyr glanced at him and nodded his head, he didn't say anything and kept quiet before closing his eyes once more.
Seeing that he didn't want to entertain questions, not one more person asked and everyone stayed quiet.
Seeing this, Yu Shu Wang couldn't help but smile for some reason, and just like them he was also curious about Siphyr, but he didn't show it on the outside.
Several hours passed by in an instant and the journey along the way was quiet and peaceful.
There were no disturbance in the green field as they crossed the land, Siphyr liked it very much.
The peace and quiet that is.
Finally they arrived at the sect and the ten of them went on to get their mission poster stamped.
One by one their mission got stamped by the elder in the counter before getting their rewards.
Siphyr's turn finally came and he also received a stamp in his poster.
He gave it to the one who handled the reward and the man took it and gave recorded Siphyr's points in a book.
"Congratulations on successfully completing your first mission! Currently you have 110 luminescence points in your account."
The words that came out from the man's mouth bewildered Siphyr.
From what he knew the reward for the mission is 20 luminescence points.
"If you're wondering why you have 110 luminescence points instead of 20. The people who took the same mission as you, all gave half of their rewards to you."
He explained and Siphyr finally understood and he smiled warmly.
'They're really good people, as expected of this sect's reputation. It seems that Lin Mu is just an exception to this reputation.'
He thought before going his way and returned to his home.
As he arrived there, the house was awfully quiet and as he stepped inside he found three familiar faces sitting in a chair around the table.
All their faces were gloomy as if they had just experienced a tragedy.
'Just what happened to them?'
