Chapter 8 - Chapter 6 - Yin Siblings [2]

Inside the concealment formation in the middle of the forest, Siphyr was sitting in a crossed leg position.

He was waiting for the elder to announce the number of participants left as the old man does so once a hundred people get teleported out.

It has already been more than an hour since the survival test began and since then, Siphyr heard almost five hundred people get kicked out.

Now there were about three hundred left, if not close to approaching two hundred.

After a few more minutes, Siphyr heard the old man's voice once more.

"615 participants have been eliminated!"

'615... That means there are 191 participants left. I guess it's time to make a move."

Saying so, Siphyr took out the weapon in his storage ring. It went from being a sword, to a spear, then to a bow before reverting back to a 2 meter long spear.

He liked using a spear as it has long reach and could put you in an advantageous position.

Suyan, his master told him to not focus on the spear as he was more talented in the sword.

However, that didn't stop his master from teaching him the spear. Even if it was just the basics such as parrying, blocking, and thrusting his spear.

Still, even with just the basics he was still able to reach a high level of understanding in the way of the spear, to the point that he was able to use spear aura.

After all, his master was a versatile saint, even if he can't be the best in everything for now, he should at least have a high level of understanding or skill in most things.

Siphyr reminisced about his one year of tremendous training with his master that pushed him to his utmost limit.

Then, he asked Diane to remove the formation and she once again climbed on his back.

"Don't get dizzy." He said to Diane.

"I won't...." Diane nonchalantly replied and Siphyr began to move at such speed that no one without a cultivation could rival.

He was a demon and the people participating in this sect were all humans from the central region of the continent.

This would be a piece of cake for him but he wasn't one to underestimate his opponents.

Even a little mistake could kill you in this world, he knew this from experience and watching.

After a while, Siphyr heard screams along the way before he finally found his target.

4 people in a group and most likely one of them got killed already.

They were facing an origin beast that looked like a tiger. How unfortunate of them.

After all, origin beasts were scarce in this forest, and to meet one just shows how unlucky they are.

Siphyr left them be, he knew they were going to get killed anyway.

And just like he thought he heard their screams until he was far away enough for silence to reach his ears.

But, as soon as silence came, another scream followed.

"Help!!! P- Please! Anyone! Help me!!!"

A woman's scream resounded around the area he was in and that caught Siphyr's attention.

He immediately followed where the voice came from, only to see 6 bodies dead on the ground and one.... Ugly girl.

As for the one chasing her, two people in white robes looked at her with disdain.

"Calling for help are we? Who would want to help you? If you were at least a little bit beautiful someone might come to help you." The man in white robes mocked and continued.

"Ha. Unfortunately for you, you're not even worth saving just by looking at your face. Also, isn't this karma?" He snickered.

"Previously your boss wanted to kill us and even tried forcing my sister. Now, however, your boss is dead, killed by me."

"Now, it's your turn to get killed, you ugly bitch."

His words, Siphyr could sense anger and rage flowing out from them.

'It looks like they messed with the wrong person." As he thought that, Siphyr heard a scream before seeing the girl with an arrow in her eye.

Afterwards, they all turned into particles of light. Even if they survived and didn't really die, the pain they felt here will probably traumatize them.

Moving on, they felt a gaze upon them and they unconsciously guarded themselves as they formed a defensive stance.

"Aren't you tired of just looking? Why don't you try coming out and fighting us?" Yin Meru said in a provocative manner.

Behind him, his sister prepared her sword as he prepared to fire his bow.

"Don't worry, I don't have any intentions in fighting you guys. After all...." Siphyr said before pausing for a moment.

"!!!"

"You guys aren't my opponent."

As soon as he resumed his words, he was already behind Yin Meru's sister, with the blade of his spear placed upon her throat.

Of course, even with his incredible speed achieving this still isn't possible for the current him.

That's why with the help of Diane hiding his presence, he was able to get behind Yin Meira without their notice.

"How dare you! Get off my sister!" Yin Meru shouted but he didn't dare rush in. He wasn't stupid enough to do so.

Then, Yin Meru looked at his sister's indifferent expression.

"He holds no hostility towards us, if so then we would already be outside of the mountains." Yin Meira nonchalantly said and looked at Siphyr's face.

"Isn't that right?"

Siphyr let go of the spear in her throat before facing her while smiling with interest.

"You bastard! If you didn't have any hostility towards us, then why bother doing that?" Yin Meru shouted with clear irritation.

"Why? I don't know, I just felt like doing it." At his words, the two of them became dumbfounded, even Diane who looked at him weirdly because of his actions before closing her eyes once more.

"Hahaha.... You're quite interesting aren't you?" Yin Meira chuckled and interest gleamed in her eyes.

As for Yin Meru, he looked at his sister with a teasing smile as if he found something to annoy his sister.
