After a few more minutes of weeping, Aisha wiped off her tears and got off the cursed bed, after swiftly removing the bedsheet from above her, in her nightgown. The floor was cold and difficult to walk on without shoes. Those shoes are always lying beside the bed waiting for her to wear them and Aisha always did but not today.
'I must not cry anymore and be strong. No matter what I do not even a single soul in this house will pity me.'
Everyone in the house of Khurana only thinks of what gives them the most profit, and Aisha is their revenue generator. Aisha knew exactly why her father had called. His purpose is very clear, after all, she has gone through this every time she comes back.
"Miss?" Maya got off the bed. "Let me help you—"
"No, I will go the way I am now. I don't want to stain my limited dresses with blood." Maya stopped her forwarding feet towards Aisha on hearing what she said.
She instead turned to the right of the room towards the hangar and pulled a single stole hanging from there. The stole was a gift from Aisha's brother, not out of love but as a reminder that she is their slave. The stole was her leash. Maya wrapped it around Aisha. Aisha grabbed it and crumbled its fabric in her fist.
'The stole is red, depicting blood. I am after all their blood slave and I must not rebel.' She sighed. 'Amature. I accept this leash, for now.'
"Stay here." Aisha opened the door after ordering Maya to not follow her, after all, Aisha knew how much Maya hated watching that horrible sight.
As Aisha walked through the hall, a shiver entered her body through her feet. Just as she had estimated, it's cold. But that was not the only reason why Aisha was shivering. After dying four times in a row, somehow she is still afraid of death.
'What if my father kills me for what I am about to say? He has done that before.'
When it was her first life, she went through all the torture unbroken, unbothered, expecting that he might love her someday, craving for her father's love. However, he is a stone-hearted man, who never loved her in return.
If only she knew it from the start. If only she had known the fact that, they wouldn't have kept her alive if she didn't have this power that gives them profit.
After all, Aisha's family is a business family, they only see a profit. What is love? What is a relationship? What is a daughter? They know nothing.
Poison runs through Aisha's blood. However, she wasn't born with that poison. Dhananjay Khurana, the head of the Khurana family and Aisha's father, threw his child into a dark well full of snakes and came to see that one-year-old baby every day to check if she was alive.
Khurana Family.
A business family that has multiple businesses of scents, diamonds, jewelry, and medicines and also a black market business of poison. The Poison Of Death:— 'Hala Hal'. The poison that Dhananjay extracts from his daughter.
Aisha, the daughter of Dhananjay Khurana who killed her mother at birth was hated by her father, not because he loved his wife but because he had lost his only Poison blood bank.
He had first turned Aisha's mother, Nisha into a poison vessel as soon as he married her and after she died, Aisha was thrown into the well of poisonous snakes, he had prepared for his wife, as a punishment for killing his blood slave.
In that dark place, Aisha cried for the whole three years and then stopped crying as she didn't have any energy left anymore. How long could a baby cry without milk, food, and water? Somehow she survived.
How? The answer to that was still unknown to Aisha. Probably Dhananjay knew the answer to that question. However, even if Aisha were to ask, he would never reveal his only secret.
Aisha came out of that well when she turned ten years old. For a whole year, she was made to meet a therapist and finally, after two years she started speaking, that is she said her first word when she turned twelve and that first word was 'DARK'.
Not mother or father like a normal child but dark like a slave who had just seen the darkness in most of their life. At the age of thirteen, the monstrous father of her's started to cut apart Aisha's skin to extract blood.
This is done every week on Monday. A total of 500 ml. A ridiculous amount. It is still surprising that Aisha stays alive after so much blood loss and her wound heals faster than any normal human.
