Chapter 6 - Blood Extraction

"You get that as well. " He didn't find it worth his time to argue any longer on that matter. Aisha knows her father very well. To him, his time is very valuable. He never wastes his time in achieving something that cannot be won.

Looking at his defeated face made Aisha overjoyed and an urge dived into her to get that feeling out of him more often. Aisha had fallen in love with that facial expression of his.

Aisha pulled back the knife from his hand and walked to the bowl to extract the blood. After taking a deep breath to calm herself down, she raised the sleeve of one arm and adjusted the knife properly on her wrist.

The wrist had several cut marks already embedded in it. The marks stretched from the start of her wrist all the way to the end of her arm. Not just that, there are many more cuts on her thighs too.

There are so many that it would become difficult to count them for a single person in one day. She swiftly pulled a straight but deep cut starting from her wrist and going up to her elbow.

500 ml is no joke even a cut that long couldn't easily extract that much blood quickly. It takes time. However, there were many times, when Dhananjay pulled severe cuts on a single Monday because he didn't have enough time to waste on her.

Many times he had thought of imprisoning her in the dungeon but didn't for many eyes were watching him. The whole world knew about a lady being born in the household. Hiding her whereabouts was difficult enough when she was thrown into the well.

Aisha could feel her father's stare from behind and how he found it funny to watch her blood flowing out of her veins. Today he had all the time in the world to see her fill the beaker with her blood slowly.

In his point of view, it was his most profitable product instead of the blood flowing out of his only daughter's hands. The by-product of which was her suffering which was his entertainment. For him, Aisha was like a chicken laying her eggs.

'He doesn't give a damn about me but I do. My body, my blood is precious and I shall price it well. '

After the beaker was full, Aisha threw the disgusting knife on the table and pulled a cloth from the nearby hanger. The cloth was never changed after use. It is the same cloth the bastard uses every time to cover her wound after extraction. Even that has turned red and old now.

Instead of wrapping it around her arm, she threw it down and stamped on it a hundred times.

"I had no idea that we were so poor." Aisha tilted her head to look at her father who had already taken a seat behind her, enjoying the show.

Aisha's eyes were almost lifeless and threatening at that point. So much so that they even triggered a little shiver in Dhananjay's spine.

'He is so ridiculous. I wish I could kill him right now. Just look at how much he likes seeing his daughter shed blood. Is he a father? Or rather is he even a human?'

"I'll get a new one." He smiled.

Aisha also gave a smile in response, going back to her gentle self and walking out of Dhananjay's study confidently.

Aisha's father didn't concern himself with even escorting her out of the study, knowing that she gets weak after every blood extraction.

'What was I even expecting?'

The starting first years of Aisha's life were hell. Even after time-traveling four times she still couldn't forget the pain she had felt for nine years straight. Only thinking about that place still gives her goosebumps.

Before Aisha could pass the huge hallway to its end where her room exists away from everyone's reach, as if she were an untouchable, she was interrupted by a certain someone whom she didn't wish to see at all. Not at that moment, at the very least, because she was exhausted.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" The huge man, double the size of Aisha, grabbed her wrist and her fresh wound tightly. She hissed and shivered when he pulled her close to him later.

"Seems like the weekly routine is over." He twisted her wrist to take a look at the wound that was still letting out blood. "What a pity! I missed it." He smiled.

Aisha pulled herself out of his clutches and went a few steps further away from him.
