"So what are we going to do now?" Kamila asked once they had left the Varia household.
"First things first, we get rid of the surveillance that you both have," Ivan replied before snapping his fingers.
Two Runic markings on the twins head's lit up before shattering.
"Now we go to the next city, where we'll find a map towards the phyrillic Mountains, there are a few things I need from there," he relayed...
"Ohh but we have maps with us," Kaleb chimed in "...I for one looted the Family's treasury for something worthwhile immediately after the Patriarch's so called punishment."
"Aahh no wonder it seemed far less magnificent that it used to..." Kamila added with an understanding nod and.
Ivan couldn't help but smile when he heard the two siblings "You looted your family's treasury...both of you, you do realize that you'd be the first suspects right?!" he asked as much as he enjoyed pulling stunts, he didn't want the twins pulling foolish ones that would hamper their journey.
"Well they will suspect but never confirm, our dad taught us how to sneak in and out without leaving any evidence behind, and we've never told anyone about it," Kaleb replied with a mischievous grin.
"Alright then give me the map, we'll start our journey tomorrow after a night's sleep,"he said.
'Hmmm how troublesome,' Ivan thought over a camp fire' . They had decided to camp in the forest for the night, he skimmed through the map with furrowed brows as he registered the four thousand years worth of Terra-forming and Political divisions that had occured.
For one there were Four Empires within the Continent of Gelfar which had retained it's name throughout the annals of time.
To the North was the Centry Empire which was best known for its Magic research and crafts.
To the East was the Azure Empire which bordered the Oceans and is overload to all matters of the Marine.
To the west is the Sahara Empire which governed the massive deserts, it was home to a number of ruins and Tombs which generated immense revenue
And to the South was the Everest Empire known to have hegemony over mines within the Continent.
And in the midst of these four Empires was the Emerald forest whose size equaled that if the Empires yet none ever tried to conquer it.
' A Soul beast, how troublesome' Ivan sighed again not wanting to think of the headache that was in his way.
'From my understanding the phyrillic Mountains should be within the Emerald forest as you near the Everest Empire, we are currently at the Centry Empire, so it'll take at least four months of travelling by land to reach their,' he rubbed his temples.
' I don't want to form my cores without engraving my glphs because it'll be impossible to do, that means I'll have to rely upon my state of being to manipulate mana and the elements while also utilizing life energy' he thought ' But the problem is soul beast will sense my Nascent soul no matter how much I cloak it due to the fact that I've yet to form a root that's supposed to hide it, that makes me a walking beacon,' he sighed.
"it seems like I'll have to level a forest this time," he thought out loud.
"Why?!" Kamila who was still enjoying her boar meat asked to which Ivan explained their current problems "Why can't we just fly over it? I mean if it detects sting souls we should just move faster than it can get to us...right?" Kaleb asked as he swallowed a boar thigh.
Ivan rubbed his chin as he searched through his spatial bracelet, there was a number of items within it as he begun sorting then out he finally found something that could help them.
"Yes we can just fly over, but if we do that you two will turn into meat paste before we're even halfway through," Ivan replied causing the twins to choke to which he laughed.
"But don't worry I'll help you out, I'll need for the two of you to reach at the very least Primal body realm," he stated.
"Primal body realm?! We've never heard of that though, I mean all there is to body cultivation is to create a vessel strong enough to host the Mana core," Kamila explained.
"Yeah we were taught that body Cultivation is just part of the Grand realm Priming, Body cultivation, Foundation establishment and core formation. Body cultivation is then divided Into Strengthening, Enhancing and
Refining," Kaleb added.
"What Strengthening and refining?! At a single glance I can tell that both of you are still in the mortal realm of body cultivation, though at its peak you still haven't touched Dormant body," he explained.
"Even I myself am still in the mortal body, it's just that my physique is a bit special," he commented.
"Now then before I start teaching you how to cultivate your body, I'll need to know what weapon paths you want to pursue as your main weapon?" he asked.
The twins fell into silence as the crackling of flames filled the silence.
"I love using the spear, it's the weapon I'm most comfortable with but I lack enough power to deal serious blows...I noticed this while fighting the ants back in the mine...so I'm currently not sure if the spear is what I want anymore," Kamila sighed as she stared at her hands.
" I have no weapon that I love like my sister, the twin blades I'm using, I only picked them to honor my mother's memory as a dual blade swordsman, I myself do not know what to choose," Kaleb replied his voice low almost like a whisper.
"I understand, now I'll tell you best in what I've seen over three days we've been together." Ivan spoke in a soft tone as he sensed the twins uncertainty " ...Kamila the spear is not about power but range, the spear is about elegance not brutality, so for you a spear will not be a weapon but an extension of your limb, the spear is a perfect oath for you...but if you still feel uncertain I have a collection of weapons you both can pick and attempt to use," he advised to which she nodded.
"Kaleb the path of the sword is indeed yours to take, however...dual blades are not for you, your fighting still is beastly one that does not care about their own safety and only relishes in the fight, you'll be more attuned as a berserker that wields a great Sword than a swordsman of two," he pointed out " it is not wrong to honor the dead, but if is wrong to let your grief weigh you down....trust me I know." He sighed not wanting to delve into some memories.
"But at the end of the day it's still your choice to make, all I can do is guide nothing more, get some rest both of you and think for yourselves what it is you want to be," he advised before closing his eyes as he meditated.
