Zaya immediately headed for the kitchen and locked the door behind. She didn't want to have the conversation with Kabir. Her words were final. She immediately started preparing a hot meal for Kabir. She was going to make porridge for him. She assembled all her ingredients and busied herself with the preparation.
Kabir, on the other hand, went to the kitchen and tried to go in but saw that it was locked. Zaya let out a small smile at his attempt to open the door as he called her name. Kabir eventually gave up and headed for the sitting room. He put on the television and as always, went to the News channel to get a glimpse of the morning news before he went to work.
He was going to have that deal with Zaya. He looked at the time from the television and saw that it was 8:30a.m. He had to be at the office by ten for when the client would come in but how was he going to do it?
