Kabir departed to his room to go about his business with the Dubois. The loud banging signifying the closing of his room door was all Zaya needed to know that it was time to let go of her breath which she didn't know she had been holding on to.
Zaya, still seated on the dining table let out a deep sigh of disappointment at the turn out of the event that just transpired between her and Kabir.
"You think after taking care of him for days he would call you His heaven for real but…." Zaya muttered to herself as she sucked her teeth afterwards.
