[Onver pov]
I was surrounded by purple marbles, the few campers who were once here had vanished.
My leg still throbbed with pain, as the bone failed to heal properly. Some flesh had managed to appear near my thigh, but it wasn't enough. The bones kept breaking and regenerating, a never-ending cycle of torment.
Exhausted, I couldn't help but let out a sigh. The weight of it all was becoming too much to bear. Suddenly, a deafening collision sound echoed outside the cave, snapping me out of my thoughts.
BOM------
Confusion washed over me as I opened my eyes to behold a towering knight standing just beyond the cave entrance.
Each punch he threw shook the invisible barrier surrounding the cave. Frustration welled up within me as the sound of impact reverberated through the air.
"Shit, how did he find me?" I muttered to myself,
My leg hadn't fully healed, hindering the regeneration process. It seemed that my bone was incompatible with the healing magic.
Trapped in this cave, I felt like a mouse in a cage, my options dwindling.
In my desperation, I resolved to create a flute to manipulate the mana that coursed through my veins.
Words couldn't escape my lips, but the sound produced by the flute could be my voice. A glimmer of hope emerged as I remembered the flute I had, one that could manipulate mana.
Pushing against my pain, I hopped on my one good leg and made my way to where I crafted my flutes.
I searched, hoping to find a flute that could produce even the slightest sound to aid me in manipulating mana. After what felt like an eternity, I finally found it. But I knew deep down that I needed something better, something that could fully harness the power of mana.
My mind raced with ideas as I pondered my next move. I couldn't ignore the booming sounds outside - the knight was relentless, trying to break through the barriers.
With a determined focus, I decided to design a prosthetic leg first, using my engineering knowledge. But before that, a crack echoed through the cave as I forcefully removed the useless bones hindering my healing process.
Armed with the crushed bone powder, I embarked on the task of crafting a prosthetic leg. In addition to the bone powder, I utilized the failed flutes I had, transforming them into fine powder as well. With everything prepared, I activated my unique ability, allowing me to witness a mesmerizing display of vibrant, multicoloured particles swirling and merging.
As the particles danced before my eyes, a wondrous transformation began to take place. The floating powder gradually coalesced, taking on the intricate details necessary to form a prosthetic leg. I was astounded by the level of precision and craftsmanship that emerged from the swirling chaos.
With each passing moment, the prosthetic leg took shape, its design becoming more refined and realistic. The intricate details of the joints, the delicate contours of the muscles, and even the subtle textures of the skin were all meticulously recreated by the floating particles.
Finally, as the last remnants of the powder settled into place, I beheld the finished product: a prosthetic leg that appeared as though it had been sculpted by the hands of a master craftsman. Its lifelike appearance and intricate details were truly astounding.
At that moment, I realized the power of my unique ability. It allowed me to transform seemingly mundane materials into extraordinary creations. With this newfound understanding, I felt a surge of confidence and determination to continue using my abilities.
As I gazed at the prosthetic leg before me, I couldn't help but be filled with a sense of awe and gratitude. The vibrant, multicoloured particles had not only merged to create a functional limb,
Time was running out, and the knight's relentless assault grew stronger. I swiftly attached the makeshift prosthetic leg, merging it with my flesh. It wasn't perfect, but it would suffice for now. I looked at my severed leg and realized the temporary nature of this solution.
But my focus quickly shifted to the flute. I knew I needed a better one, capable of manipulating mana more effectively. With determination, I crushed the bone particles and infused them with my mana.
The tiny particles merged with the swirling, multicoloured haze, transforming into a new flute with seven expertly crafted holes.
As I held the newly created flute in my hands, I could feel its power resonating through my fingertips. The mana-infused bone particles had given it a unique energy, enhancing its ability to channel and control mana. It was a remarkable transformation, from a simple instrument to a powerful tool.
And with a final blow from a knight on the door of the cave, the invisible barrier shattered, echoing a sense of accomplishment.
And in that pivotal moment, the invisible wall of the cave shattered into pieces. A thunderous boom resounded, followed by the crashing sound of the cave's barrier crumbling.
BOOMMMMMMMMMMM
CRASH
With the giant knight's hand hurtling towards me, I instinctively seized the flute, swiftly redirecting my gaze towards the imminent danger. Everything seemed to shift as time slowed down, and my heightened senses fully engaged.
Summoning my inner power, I closed my eyes and began to recite a spell: and component it in music.
🎶'Transmit my thought in the form of a wave,🎶
🎶 Let the medium be air itself,🎶
🎶Follow my will, be my spell,🎶
🎶 Be my guard, and be my viel .'🎶
The haunting sound of the flute echoed through the cave as I channelled my energy. A luminous blue barrier materialized before me, enveloping and shielding me from the colossal hand of the knight.
The impact reverberated through the air, creating a thunderous crash that resonated with power.
The barrier proved formidable, successfully protecting me from the intense impact.
The sound of cracking filled the air, a testament to the knight's broken hand being unable to penetrate the barrier's defence. Fragments of the barrier fluttered like scattered butterfly wings, a captivating sight amidst the chaos.
As time seemed to bend to my will, the world around me moved in slow motion. I saw this as my moment, where victory was within reach. With newfound confidence, I harnessed the power of the flute once more. Holding my breath, I reinforced my prosthetic leg and my entire limb, reinforcing their strength.
In a burst of determination, I dashed out of the cave, leaving behind the once-present danger that now seemed to fade away. I knew deep in my core that this time, I would emerge victorious.
Boom.
The forceful sound echoed, a reminder of the power at play.
'It's my time baby!'
