Aaron was standing firmly at the entrance of the third room, examining the obtained artifact. He realized that the artifact had excellent properties.
"Power of the Heart
Rank: E
When the user wields this artifact, they exhibit a 25% resistance against mental attacks and also have a 5% chance to evade binding and immobilization spells."
It was indeed a remarkable artifact for its rank, and on top of that, it provided the ability to evade binding and immobilization spells, making it particularly powerful against the Constellations. Many Constellations relied on such spells.
"I obtained some nice things, but the final challenge remains—the dungeon boss... I wonder what it will be. Since I encountered a purebred vampire, there should at least be a fairy," Aaron muttered aloud.
Indeed, that seemed likely. The appearance of a vampire in the current year and time within a dungeon was not a good sign, to say the least.
"Phew..." Aaron took a deep breath and then entered the third and final room of the dungeon.
"Entering the Dungeon Boss Room. Are you sure you want to engage in battle?" Aaron was surprised; he had never seen such a notification before. It was as if they were questioning whether he was a coward or not.
"So, you're the one... who killed all my slaves," a soft voice said.
"And who might you be?"
"What am I? Who am i?" the soft voice added and suddenly appeared. This sudden appearance startled Aaron for a moment, as this creature could potentially be faster than him.
"Yes, are you deaf?"
"You're rude... I am a beautiful elf, it's sad that you can't recognize such a beautiful being," the female elf with a soft voice said.
"Elf? I didn't expect to see you this early. Last time, you appeared approximately ten years after these events," Aaron said with a sneer in his voice.
"Last time? What does that mean?" the elf asked.
"That's right. I guess I forgot to announce it. Assuming I consider the thousands I crushed under my feet in my previous attempt, I would be pondering the same," Aaron said with a serious tone of belittlement. His plan was clear; he would use his allure on creatures that he didn't assume to be stronger than him and wait for their most careless moments.
"You!" the female elf yelled and swiftly launched herself towards him, just like the vampire, she seemed furious. At that moment, Aaron unleashed all of his attack abilities—goddess' aura, Elajiah's wrath, the Gods Eyes, black ice flower, and transition.
A dark area enveloped the surroundings, suddenly becoming cold and frozen. Dark ice shards began to form around, and Aaron's hair and eye color turned completely white, taking on a pure appearance.
His sword instantly gained a white aura, and then his transition ability became fully active. With unnecessary speed, Aaron swiftly moved and thrust his sword into the female elf's abdomen. He could have aimed for her head, but he chose not to risk injuring her—after all, there was a significant gap between an elf and a vampire.
"KYAAAAAA!!" a scream escaped from the female elf as she managed to free herself from the sword.
"You slave! You despicable creature! I will kill you!" the female elf shouted, and at that moment, darkness started to radiate from Aaron. A light emerged from within the darkness, and upon seeing it, Aaron muttered, "Damn It" for he knew exactly what it was.
"I won't allow it!" Aaron yelled and launched an attack. His strike was about to hit the elf's throat, but he noticed that his head was spinning, causing him to miss the strike.
"What's happening?" he wondered and quickly jumped backward. He looked at his hands and realized what was happening. His hands had turned completely white, indicating that his mana was unfortunately depleting.
"No, not now!" Aaron shouted in his mind and canceled all his abilities. The surrounding darkness dissipated, the icy field melted, and his personal aura sank to its lowest. Meanwhile, the female elf started speaking:
"I have to give credit where it's due. Thanks to you, I became a High Elf. I crossed this boundary that I couldn't surpass for nearly a hundred years, and I almost lost my desire to kill you," the female elf said, giggling.
"Shut up. If you're going to kill me, do it now, or the opposite will happen," Aaron said as he took out the "Ice Accumulation" from his inventory.
"HAHAHAHA, do you think a High Elf like me would be killed by a little brat like you? You're quite amusing. It would be even better to spare your life and make you my slave, but unfortunately, you've annoyed me too much," the female elf said with an ugly smirk on her face and threw her elf sword towards Aaron.
At that moment, Aaron quickly leaped backward and threw the Ice Accumulation towards the female elf. Unaware of this attack due to executing her own strike, the female elf couldn't dodge it and finally, a loud "PUF!" sound echoed in the area.
Due to the Ice Accumulation, a high cloud of dust and a cold aura dominated the area. Aaron remained unaffected by the cold because of his Black Ice Flower ability's ice defense, but the same couldn't be said for the female elf. When the dust cloud settled, everything became clear. The "High" elf was frozen, not a single part of her moved, and no sound escaped her.
"The Dungeon Boss, the 'High' Elf, has been slain. 10,000 unit points gained. Skill Book C level obtained. Level increased by 6."
Aaron wasn't surprised by this outcome because he was someone who knew the power of the "Ice Accumulation." In his previous life, he had personally used it against the Supreme Dragon Elajiah and witnessed its ability to damage even Elajiah. This item had a 90% increase in damage against monsters. This was exactly what the Ice Accumulation was capable of.
"Hmph...Dying to a little brat." Aaron said as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He was injured, but it was an internal injury caused by the excessive use of mana, which had only slightly damaged his body.
"Dungeon Room Type C cleared, exiting."
As soon as Aaron saw this notification, he was teleported outside the dungeon. When he turned around, he noticed that the dungeon was gone. Unfortunately, it wasn't one of the repeatable dungeons; otherwise, Aaron could have gained a significant amount of experience from it.
He had gained 3 levels from all the bears, 3 levels from the vampire, and a full 6 levels from the elf. Unfortunately, the mimic hadn't given him any experience points. The only thing it had given him was a skill book, which was more valuable than the experience he could have obtained.
Aaron looked around, and the sky was dark. He immediately checked the system and saw that he had spent a full 3 hours inside. Considering he was alone, this could be considered a significant achievement. But there was also something that didn't disappoint him. The system hadn't awarded him the "first dungeon clear" achievement, which meant that people in the world had already gathered their courage and taken charge of their affairs.
His goal was to first make England a safe place, to create a region where people could live securely. But in order to do that, he needed to eliminate the "small boss monsters," which didn't pose much of a challenge given his current level.
Aaron believed that these small boss monsters were only slightly stronger than him, and he was right in thinking so. After all, they were called "small boss monsters," and comparing them to a real boss monster would be impossible. Although there was a power system evaluated by the city system, they were not true "boss monsters," which meant their abilities were limited. This was what Aaron relied on. He hoped that the system hadn't changed anything regarding this matter.
Currently, what he wanted to do was find a safe place to gather mana and allocate all the points he had earned to his intelligence. He had 7500 mana, which was a considerable amount. As he had mentioned before, he was now one of the most powerful people in the world, perhaps even the strongest.
Aaron immediately opened the map and found a clothing store about 3 minutes away. He headed straight for it, and after a short while, he arrived at the front of the shop without wasting any time, he entered.
Of course, he had a reason for wanting to allocate all his points to the intelligence stat. He wasn't foolish enough to waste them. All the elemental users he had met before kept saying that they underwent evolution after surpassing 200 in intelligence. He didn't exactly know what this evolution entailed, but the only thing he knew was that they had a high amount of mana after surpassing 200 intelligence. And mana was the only thing Aaron lacked.
After entering the safe zone, he took one of the nearby chairs and sat down. Then he allocated all the points he currently had (30) to the intelligence stat. Immediately after doing this, a notification appeared in front of him:
"Intelligence stat has exceeded 200. Acquired the Low-Level Sage attribute. Magic power varies depending on the class....."
Magic Power/Elemental Power has evolved. Congratulations, individual with the Class of the God of Elements."
Upon seeing this, he immediately clicked on the evolved stat of Elemental Power in his system profile, and what he saw slightly reduced his astonishment:
"Elemental Power
All of the user's elemental attacks gain a 5% damage increase.
The user can now perform dual elemental magic attacks.
This stat derives from the magic power stat."
After that, he clicked on the "Low-Level Sage" rank in the ranking section, and what he saw pleased him:
"Low-Level Sage
The user's mana level doubles."
He was already suffering from a mana shortage, but now this problem was completely solved. With the recent points given, Aaron, who had 8,000 mana, now had a whopping 16,000 mana. This genuinely delighted him. Of course, if he had focused solely on allocating points to intelligence without increasing agility or magic power, he could have had even more mana, like a traditional wizard. However, since he wanted to be a fast and resilient mage, he acted a bit differently.
