The day has passed and another day has greeted Felicia with a frown on her face, her lips curving down, her eyes embodying hateful gaze by hu as she stared at the person whom she didn't expect to visit just as she was about to leave the castle.
She prepared for this day early this morning to begin her adventure to the capital. But an unexpected guest has made her stop from taking a step further as she faces the man they called her fiancee.
"Why are you wearing a dismayed look?" Constantine asked as he looked at her with his eyebrows furrowed together, perplexed to see his fiancee looking badly at him as if he just ruined her day.
"..." Speechless, it's not like she couldn't find words to reply to this man but she's stopping herself from uttering malicious words that may offend Constantine and the whole royal family.
"Nothing, Your Highness. What a lovely day to see you." She greeted as she bowed her head, giving him a curtsy before standing up straightly. "To what do I owe your sudden visit to our humble abode? If you have just sent us a letter that you'll visit, we could've prepared for your arrival." She asked in sarcasm.
This is the second time that he went here on his own accord without even consulting them first for his visitation. This man is too arrogant to have his free will barging in and out like he's some sort of a God.
"I was called by Helena to visit her. I heard interesting things once again from the letter. She expressed how saddened she was over things that happened in her life." He said, chuckling on his own while he didn't remove his gaze upon Felicia who just stared at him like he was an insignificant fool in her eyes.
"I see, well who am I to stop you from visiting your hm, friend?" She replied, nonchalant and not interested in how he put words about the drama that she started. She doesn't care anyway, let them talk and eat each other's mouth.
Obviously, Constantine didn't like the words she uttered to him. The smirk on his face fell from his face, soon replaced with hawk-like eyes as if he was offended by how she didn't even care at all.
She smirked and walked passes by Constantine, there was no need for her to greet him goodbye since she was not the person whom he wished to meet and talk to. Well, who cares?
Just as she was about to walk past him, Constantine suddenly turned around and pulled her wrist, making her stop from walking away and was forced to turn around. She shot him a glare, irritated by how Constantine acted.
"Really? You're not even jealous about it? Aren't you my fiancee? You should be accommodating me right now because I will be the one who'll be wedded to you!" He suddenly exclaimed and gripped her wrist tighter, restricting her from pulling away.
She let out a scowl, then scoffed as she heard his words. The hypocrisy of this man tells her that it's her job to accompany him when she's not the reason for his visit to their manor.
"Your arrogance knows no bounds, Your Highness. The one who will accommodate you is my sister who requested your presence in our castle. It was not me who called you, but your friend in distress. So if I were you, let go of my wrist." She argued, her face turning dark while trying to calm her inner dragon wanting to lash out.
For a while, Constantine fell into silence yet he didn't remove his grip on her wrist and just stayed there, looking into her eyes as he tried to analyse her behaviour. Why is she so hostile to him early this morning?
"Where are you going?" Instead of replying to her, he chose to take a turn, shifting their topic to her which made her eyebrow raised in amusement. "It's not something that Your Highness needs to bother." She answered back assertively.
"It is my business to know where you are going. I am your fiancee after all." He retorted in a sense to demand what was going on with her.
The audacity.
"Fiancee? Yet you're visiting another woman other than me. Besides, we're going to break up sooner or later. Might as well take that chance as a way for you and the Saintess to officially be engaged." She responded with a mocking tone and he wasn't having her sarcasm and mockery.
His grip suddenly loosened, making her pull back her wrist and massage it as it was throbbing. God, this man is making her erupt like a dormant volcano suddenly erupting.
"Why are you so adamant about breaking up with me?" He muttered in a low voice, looking down. His hands balled into fists as he couldn't accept every word she demanded of him. It's like getting hit with multiple knives.
Felicia compelled his words and laughed at him. Is he blind? Does he need some glasses for him to be able to see how much of an asshole he is towards her? Because she'll buy one for him.
Her laugh finally died down as he raised his face to look at her with displeasure written all over his face. She smiled at him sweetly with matching squinted eyes. But as soon as she opened her eyes, the smile loosened while she gave him a dead glance.
"You wanted it first. I listened to your demand." She replied with a cold tone before turning her back against him and walking away, leaving the man alone in front of their door with whatever emotion was flashing on his face.
Ah, that was refreshing. She really didn't expect that Constantine would just barge into their house right after Helena requested his presence. But since when did she contact him? Maybe yesterday when she decided not to socialize with them.
"What happened?" Olivia asked as she waited right in front of the carriage. She too was surprised to see the Crown Prince's carriage passing through her. His sudden visit must've caused an uproar among everyone while she remained with the carriage.
"Nothing, he visited since he was called by Helena. Like a dog wagging his tail for a bone given by the master. Silly Crown Prince acting like a dog and a knight in shining Armor for his distress and crying innocent princess." Rachelle said as the coachman opened the door for her to enter inside.
"Oh and if the coachman decides to snoop with my words towards the workers? I will sell him to the slave traders." She threatened that the Coachman flinched with her words and bowed his head down, shaking it in a fast manner.
Rachelle smirked, atta boy, you listened well.
Olivia followed her mistress as she went inside the carriage, closing and locking it as she sat comfortably in front of her mistress. "Sounds like jealousy," Olivia muttered but not silent enough for Rachelle to hear.
Rachelle looked at her with a scowl and sighed. Jealous? More apathetic towards them. Whatever they do, she'll be unimpressed and uninterested to begin with. Her matters are her priorities.
The carriage ride was smooth and arrived at a bustling town, with buildings and small shops scattered neatly. Commoners and nobles mixed on the streets. Now she understands why the capital is always busy.
The carriage then stops where Olivia mentioned. It was a small building with minimal design, not even attracting any single customers. So this must be Yulie Rajeh's shop, god it looks humble.
As they got out of the carriage, Olivia went out first and then proceeded to open the door of the small clothing store, followed by Felicia who walked inside and stared at a space.
Where does she work?
"Hello?" She asked, trying to reach where the owner was until Yulie suddenly came outside of a small room covered with tape measures, clothing strips, a needle cushion on her wrist and a thread.
An awkward silence fell at the three.
"Uhm... My Lady, I welcome you to my shop." Yulie bowed her head, trying to look comfortable and neat while brushing off the things attached to her body. Rachelle just tilted her head, acknowledging her presence.
"So uhm... I'm so sorry for asking this but have you already created what I asked for? No worries, I just need one to wear." She asked with a pleasant smile across her voice. She's not going to meet with the guild master looking like this.
It's uncomfortable and too flashy that she might attract a lot of criminals at the back of the alley. It'll drain her energy further if she engages in a fight with the commoners and will waste her time.
"Ah? Ah! Yes! I actually tried making it based on what you said after I got home. So I got this one coming right up!" She sounded confused at first, trying to remember what she asked and as soon as she remembered, she sprinted back to the room where she came from, in excitement.
"Isn't she a bit weird?" Olivia uttered as Yulie left the two of them. She surely is weird in Olivia's eyes.
