The god's breath hitched. "That's ridiculous, I'd never do such a thing. Never-mind the consequences of killing a god with such an important position."
A soft breeze blew past them, carrying the fragrance of the wetness and the night. The moon was beautiful tonight as well. "I see, then I cannot force you. But promise me, that if I truly go mad, and lose all reasoning, that you will kill me."
The god looked at the moon with a bitter gaze. "I-I promise." Lies upon lies, one that believed in the other, and the other that could only love.
Another century passed, and just as the abomination proclaimed. A calamity threatened both the living, the dead, the mortals, the gods, and all that was in between.
And just as proclaimed, the abomination only got worse.
"My love! I have brought your favorite flowers! I was a bit challenging since they grow in such desolate places, but I managed to find a patch of them!" The god placed the flowers in a vase. "Do you think it would be possible to grow them in the garden? That way even if they wither, there will be more."
The god laughed as they conversed with their lover. All of it was foreseen, perhaps there truly was no escaping fate.
"Moon, so beautiful, perhaps. I shall. Hmm…" The abomination spoke in broken sentences. Its voice was lost and free. "Hmm.. My tasty lover. My love. My love. Where are you? I smell flowers."
The god came to the calls of it's lover, "Yes! Is there anything you want? Perhaps do you wish to see the moon tonight as well?" The god's voice carried a hidden strangeness. What could this be?
"Moon.. Let me eat you. Kill you. It won't hurt. Please?" The god only laughed at their words, "Haha sure if that's what you want, I love you too, let's watch the moon together."
