"Ahem! Ok now where did I leave off…"
The two lovers went outside to look at the moon, it was a full moon that night, and the stars shined ever so brightly. They sat next to each other as they took in the beauty of the moon.
"It's strange, whenever I gaze upon the moon, my mind seems empty." The abomination said to their lover in worry. The god also began to worry. Was there another side effect? But everything else was normal except their appearance.
And thus, the madness began to spread.
Day by day, the god's lover began to act strangely. Sometimes they would do things that didn't make sense, or would say ridiculous things. But the god could only brush it off, as their lover had been bed-ridden for many centuries, it would not be strange if they had changed from it.
So they continued their lifestyle for many more centuries. But as the years went by, the god could not ignore their lover's changes any longer.
"Honey, did you know that happiness is quite sweet. Every time we are together, it's always wonderful. Love tastes like flowers. I wonder what flower it is."
"Time is so fast, perhaps if we were to die, time would be unable to take us. I don't want to be lonely."
"Hm… ah.. the moon is so beautiful. I simply wish to feel empty…"
The god could only listen to their lover and agree with their words, but the worry and fear had already planted a seed in their mind. Perhaps.. is something wrong with my lover?
Alone, this god pondered. "I do not care for their appearance, for they are still the one my heart belongs to in the end. But such changes make me fearful. What have I done?"
