"Bio, a piece of bread? All of this trouble for a loaf of goddamn bread??" Gabe questions, laughing aloud, throwing his hands in the air.
"We could have just sent you or Piro to deal with this, but you called us, and we have this sad excuse of a vampire." Gabe says, rolling his eyes at me.
"Yes, while I tried turning myself into a bat many years ago, I accidentally turned into bread. However, I still have all these slaves to take care of me. "Gabe looks at him, annoyed, and picks him up.
"Wait.. wait, what are you doing!" He screams as Gabe opens the window and throws him out into the mud as it's raining.
"I'm turning soggy soggy! What a cruel world, so cruel. My family will avenge me you hear you hearrrrr" He says his voice fainting.
"That takes care of this vampire. Let's head back down." Gabe says, smiling, rubbing his hands together.
We hear a commotion downstairs, and so we rush back down. Julian and the others have their weapons drawn, as all the prisoners are no longer held by the holy chains.
"Wait, we took care of the vampire. They shouldn't be under control anymore." Gabe explains.
"Thank you so much that bread has had us cutting ourselves to feed him every day and made us go on like life was normal while slowly killing us," Andrew says, bowing to us.
"Don't mention it now that the vampire is gone. I see no reason to take you all into prison. However, did the vampire ever meet with anyone that you know of?" Julian questions.
"All we've seen is his brother come in called D-duo. he was researching a way to cure him. He has long blonde hair, red eyes and a very muscular body."
"Thank you, we'll be going now," Julian responds as we all leave, seeing the soggy bits of bio being eaten up by birds heading back to the inn.
We all sit down, earrings some porridge.
"Hey Julian, why didn't we request the knowledge on how to open dungeons from the king instead of accepting the ore for a reward?"
"The king stated he had to sacrifice great mages to accomplish opening a gate that kind of power is useless for our team and could be very dangerous in our world if others learned how, so it didn't cross my mind." Julian explains as we finish our meals and head to bed.
Waking up, we head downstairs and eat some bread and cheese seeing Julian and Lia entering.
"Well, we managed to kill two more vampires over night they were much stronger than the previous ones. They turned into bats when Lia tried shooting them. Luckily, I was able to pinpoint which bat was the real one and killed them. That leaves about eight left." Julian explains.
"This rate it'll only be a week in this dungeon."
"Good, I can't stand it here. They have no clean toilets. I want a shower." Lia complained.
"Well, I could use my magic for a shower." Piro explains Lia, snapping her head towards him, as her expression darkened.
"Why the hell didn't you mention this? Let's go find a place and you better not look at me!" Lia aggravated, drags Piro out of the tavern.
"Um Nux, I know you've been learning magic, do you mind also?" Julian asks nervously, her face turning red.
"No problem." We head out into the woods where theirs a small pond. I start forming a cloud of warm water above the lake.
"C-close your eyes and turn around," Julian stutters. blushing, I close my eyes and turn around as she undresses and steps in.
"Alright, tell me if the pressure or heats too much."
"Alright," she says as the cloud starts to pour warm water down.
"If you can, please wash my clothes and dry them with magic while I finish up."
I cast a water spell, cleaning her clothes, then a heated wind spell to dry them off. I hear screaming from behind. I turn around as she runs into me, tackling me to the ground. My eyes lock onto her bright green eyes as her brown wet ginger hair shines. Our faces turn bright red.
"D-don't stare at me. S-something touched my foot in the water. Keep your eyes closed as I dry off." She yells, putting her hand on my eyes. I close them as. She gets dressed and we awkwardly head back to the inn to get some rest.
"I'm heading up to get some rest if you can go back to the Magic tower in case theirs any more clues." She tells me and Piro.
We head to the Mages tower going to the librarian.
"I know we've asked you previously, but by any chance, you have any more books on vampires." Piro asks her, and she looks annoyed.
"You're too late yesterday. We had a robbery. All books we've had on vampires were stolen. They must've been extremely strong to get past security." She explains, looking through her list of books.
We look around, but I don't see any glowing footprints as if there wasn't even an enemy their.
Going back to the inn reporting our shortcomings. The team sighs understandably, the moon now coming up around the horizon bright and red shining through the doors and windows.
"Shit, it's a blood moon. The vampires are probably going to be extremely active tonight." I gasp, worried.
"That means it's time to set out we might be able to take all eight of them tonight and we can get out of this hell hole." Trevor says excitedly.
