David immediately headed alone to the Chairman's office while Christine was looking for a healer support to heal her wounds.
As he open the office, he saw that his father is not around and instead he only saw her secretary inside doing some paper works. She immediately notice him and approach him.
"Are you looking for your father? He is currently on an important meeting right now with the Secretary of Defense along with some important figures like the Head Master of Makisig Guild and Mandirigma Guild. I think your presence is needed there as well." She said to David.
"Can you please have someone pick up Christine? She is here looking for someone to heal her minor injury. I think it's best if she attend the meeting."
"Ok, I'll call someone to tell her about it. The meeting is held in the meeting room at 3rd floor."

Inside the Hunter Association, every important people that holds military prowess where having a discussion to the current affairs of the nation.
Some of them were used to these kinds of stuffs already while others are new to these kinds of things especially the Guild Masters of the Top Guilds of the country.
Although not everyone in the room are awaken, the meeting room has this suffocating pressure that no ordinary people wants to experience. It is very clear to everyone who will saw the place that every one in here is having a very important meeting. A meeting that will decide the lives of millions of people.
"The USA is having a civil war right now. The Psychic Mage betrayed the Government after it uses Nukes on the Fenrir and people are siding themselves to him." A military Lieutenant said.
"The Washington is having a hard time dealing with it. Their allies are having wars in the insides of their countries as well and others are simply too occupied to the dungeon monsters. According to the mutual defense treaty of the Philippines and America, we have the obligation to help them. Currently we are sending them with non awaken military power under the orders of the president. But Washington wants Archie." Mr. Delarosa, the secretary of defense of the Philippines said.
"Archie is still dealing with some nations as well. It's impossible for us to send him until he finishes his contracts to the other nations. Tell Washington that Archie isn't available right now." The Hunter Association Chairman replied.
The Secretary of Defense simply nodded in agreement to him.
"I guess we have no other choice but to send our best hunters." He then look at both Makoy and Ferdinand.
"Sending us to the America to fight will leave Luzon Area defenseless." Ferdinand said.
"I cannot leave the Philippines especially now that a cult is present somewhere in here. The Hunter Association and remaining militia here is probably isn't enough to deal with them considering that they are rumored to be capable of awakening normal people." Makoy said.
"Isn't the Hunter Association is in possession of the Lich? The Philippines will be fine without you as long as the Lich and it's Death Knights were present." A Military General gave his opinion to the matters as well.
"The Lich is not in a possession of Hunter Association. It's a slave of Archie, the decision of its deployment is all up to him. And he is using it to guard the Arch Enterprise." Mr. Soreso replied.
"The Lich should be in possession of Hunter Association and it should be use to the benefit of the country. Great powers should not be given to a single individual. Did your Archie forgot that he did not come there alone and the others were with him as well? We are a democratic country. What happens to the Lich should be voted by everyone." Another Lieutenant given his opinion as well.
Unbeknownst to everyone that after the enslavement of the Lich, Archie propose to the S-rank Hunters that he will give them magic items for free as long as they give up their rights to the Lich. The three agreed to it except the SS rank Hunter David who wasn't ask by Archie.
While in the middle of rising tension, the Chairman who was very irritated to the underlings of the President, was thinking of ways to deal with them. The people here wants Archie to give up the Lich but the Chairman in the Hunter Association wants to side to Archie. After all Archie is working for him and basically the Lich will also fall under his jurisdiction. Increasing his military powers and influence to the country.
"You forgotten that the world isn't what..." Suddenly someone knocks on the door interrupting everyone.
A servant open the door and talk to the person outside but then the servant step aside, allowing the person to enter. And it reveals David, the second strongest of the nation and the Chairman's son.
"Sorry to interrupt, I came here to deliver a report and this meeting seems to be a good place to say it." David said and the one who seated next to his father vacated the place and seat elsewhere to allow David to sit there.
David seated next to his father when suddenly someone enter the room again and this time it is Christine. The wound on her neck is no longer visible, allowing David to conclude that she find someone to heal her.
"Hello, I receive a message that my presence is required here as well. Can I come in?" She asks.
"Please come inside, your presence is indeed needed here." Mr.Soreso said and Christine seated on a vacant seat next to the two S-rank hunters.
Both the Secretary of Defense and Hunter Association Chairman where glad that everyone is present. Both sides has hidden agendas in their minds. Only the smartest and the side which will be favored by the four S-rank Hunters will get what they want.
"Since everyone is here, it's better if we vote here, who will be possessing the Lich." A nameless Lieutenant suggested.
Both Christine and David immediately pick up the topic of today. Both knew that their side is in the losing one since many of the people in this meeting were under the president.
"I don't think that this is the right time to talk about the Lich, Archie isn't here and his opinion and vote is needed as well." Makoy intervene.
"Archie serves the people of this country under the Hunter Association. Its his job to follow orders from the Hunter Association Chairman. If we voted it here and the Chairman relay it to him, he has no choice but to hand the Lich over." A military general said.
"Dad why are they so obsess with the Lich?" David ask to his father.
"Apparently America is under civil war and they are asking for reinforcement from here under the Mutual Defense Treaty, and they are asking for Archie specifically. But since Archie isn't available, they want to send the S-rank Hunters there to help them and have the Lich deploy to help the country. We cannot decide about it right now, only Archie have a say about it."
David thinks that the reasoning of the people here is actually valid. However, David knows his father. He is someone who would immediately agree to this kind of decision, if he knows that there are no hidden agenda behind it.
"I see no problem to what they saying. But it's true right that only one word from you and Archie will immediately listen. Why are you so against them having the Lich?"
"It's not that easy. What they want is to transfer the ownership of the Lich to them. Meaning Archie will lose control to the Lich. If they truly wants to use the Lich to help the country, they wouldn't have to ask Archie to hand the Lich control over to them. They can simply ask Archie to command it to do the defense. They want the Lich power for themselves, if they have it, they can certainly use it to deal with their political opponents. That's what I think."
"I think it's better to go along with them. Let's send the S-rank Hunters to the America for reinforcement. And have the Lich under the Hunter Association take over the empty position leave behind by the S-rankers without transferring the Lich ownership."
"That's what I intended to push if you haven't entered the room so suddenly."
David nodded and he suddenly stand up.
All attention were on him right now.
"I will ask Archie to use the Lich to help me defend the country against monster threats. But I won't agree that the Lich should be handed over to the government. Only Archie is strong enough to handle it, if given to you, who knows how long will you be able to keep it on a leash." David said and Makoy stood up as well.
"If David along with the Lich watch over the country, I will agree to be send over to the America as reinforcement. But I also think that Archie should not handed the Lich over to you due to security reason. The Lich is still a monster and it's not something that could be tame without supreme powers."
"I agree to them as well. The Lich should not be handed over to you. If the Lich and David will be watching the Luzon as well, then I have no qualms on going to America. But only I will go there, I will not being my entire guild with me." Ferdinand said.
"I don't know what's going on but sorry I don't wanna go to the America. I wanna keep a close eye to the rising cult." Christine said and everyone's eyes turn into her.
