"Is this the third area?" I ask while looking below the helicopter.
"Yes it is. You can now begin your thing." Selena said.
I actually manage to finish 2, not so heavily damage cities already and this is the 3rd one already and this area looks so much worst. The sequence of restoration is based on the most closes to us so you can say that it's not a matter of importance. Also the destruction here is the worst one I've seen so far. Its several times worst than what happened in Bayugan City back in Mindanao.
I opened the Helicopter door and jump out of the helicopter. Although I don't really need to go out to restore the City, but I decided to do so to put waypoint in the area so next time I could just teleport here immediately if needed.
I landed softly in the ground by the help of levitation magic and I just put the waypoint and return immediately to the Helicopter.
"Are you done marking the place? I still couldn't believe how you manage to teleport here inside a moving helicopter." Selene said.
"It's because I mark the floor of this helicopter and not the space so it doesn't matter if its moving or not." I replied.
I then use my Moon Staff and begin performing magic and projected my self on the sky.
"To all citizens of this area, please watch out for yourselves. To avoid injuries cause by the floating debris, please drop on the floor and cover yourselves or get out of the buildings and infrastructure. Restoration will begin in 1 minute." I announce and turn off the projection.
"Isn't 1 minute too short for them to prepare themselves?" Selena asks.
"Nahh it's fine, all wounds they sustain cause by the restoration will heal anyway since I made the spell to affect people who would get injured in the process. I was just giving them a warning so that they could expect some pain if they failed to do what I said."
"If you put it that way then there's nothing that I can say." Selena sigh.
The one minute is up so I decided to use my Moon Staff and perform my magic.
--Time Journey--
The city debris started to float and restore the place.
I no longer need to repeatedly chant my spell using my moon staff since it recorded every spell that I've activate using it. And it even reduce my mana consumption up to 50% so it's a very convenient magic item for me.
"I've been wondering, how did you manage to acquire that magic staff?" Selena asks.
"It's a secret sorry. I couldn't reveal it." I replied while smiling. She just shrugged her shoulders in return.
I don't want the government to know right now that I can create Magic Items because I know that if they learned about it, they will bombard me with very unreasonable demands with very little reward.
The restoration is completed already so I once again projected myself.
"The restoration is already complete. Please have a nice day everyone." I said and close the projection again.
"Shouldn't you save as much as mana as you can?" She asks.
Why do I feel like she's here to ask a lot of things about me and inquire about my capabilities?
"I need to inform the people when I was about to start the restoration or when I finish it so they can then continue their lives. Don't worry about the mana so much, if it's not enough then I'll just take some rest and restore some mana then return here at midnight to continue my work. Although I was hoping that it won't happen." I explained.
"Are you planning to make us work even in midnight? I haven't have a good sleep for the past 5 days already. I want to sleep undisturbed tonight." She complained. It seems like she's not having it easy working at the government either.
"Don't worry if that happens I won't bother you. I can come alone disturbing sleeping people in the remaining damage area hahaha." I laugh after saying that.
"No, the orders I received is to accompany you when you do restoration. If I let you do it alone, I might get fired from my job." She said.
We talk about random staffs while I am restoring cities. It seems like Selena is quite the talkative type when she feels like its fine being one and before I notice, all the damage cities in Luzon has been restored already in just 3 hours.
"I didn't expect that not all city has been heavily damage. Majority only has minor or moderate damage and cities that has worst damage are actually just 6 here in Luzon. I still have some mana stones left, can you call your superior and tell them that I'm willing to do the Visayas now if they listen to my demand." I said and she nodded immediately and call her superior.
The total mana stone that I actually expended is only 1/4 the amount they give me. It seems like my 50% mana cost reduction is very effective in making it happen. So I don't mind if I do more restoration since my goal is to keep half of the mana stones they provided me and I clearly exceeded it.
While Selena called her superiors I on the other hand called the former Lieutenant.
"You called me, is something happened?" He asks.
"Mr. Soreso, I am still free right now and I want to restore Visayas as well. Did you negotiate about it in the government?" I asked.
"Yes, we talk about it. You are actually going to restore it next week and they are planning on giving you 1.5 million for that as well. Do you want to do it now? I don't think that there will be an issue if you do it today. We were just delaying it before because no one can watch over mindanao but now that David is here, I guess it's fine if you do it." He explained.
"Oh, is that so? Then I'll do it now so I can help out in closing dangerous gates next week." I said.
"Sure, please bring my two sons with you when you do so. I'm much more comfortable if you are with them when they enter the dungeon."
"Yes I'll be sure to do that." I said and we ended the call.
"Archie, they are asking about your demands." Selena asks.
"Tell them that aside from the reward that they promise the former Lieutenant Soreso, I also want half of the monster corpse in their possession." I said and she delivered the message to them.
"They are asking, what are you going to do with those corpses?"
"Tell them that it's not their concern. Are they willing to give my demand or just wait for next week? If they wait for next week, they will need to procure more mana stones than today since a long time has passed in visayas already and the more time it passes the harder it is to restore."
Those people didn't know that true extent of the value of those monster corpses yet. They just know that you can create basic weapons that are compatible with the awakened from them that's all. What they value more this time is the mana stones and cores which they think of as a power source.
"They said yes. They will give you half of the monster corpses that they have in their warehouse if you repair the visayas area now." She said and I nodded.
Selena took out the map that she has in Visayas and it also has marks of the damage cities just like in Luzon. Seems like she brought it incase we needed it.
We arrived using space rift when we reach an area that is close enough for me to use space rift to reach Visayas.
We didn't waste time since it's already 4 in the afternoon. We then started restoring as fast as we can. The damages here in Visayas is worst, mostly trees and farms has been damage but I still restore them. I could guess that they are caused by the insects that Hawk Eye deal with.
It's already 6 p.m before I've finished everything and my head is starting to get numb again like the last time that I over used my magic.
"We're done now. Let's go back already." Selena suggested.
"I still have one last thing to do. Please bring me close to Marinduque Island so I can put a waypoint there and help out during Lich subjugation mission." I said.
"I guess we can do that if you really need it." She said and we use several space rift to closer our distance.

We arrive at polo island, the nearest island near the Marinduque where several awakened people and soldiers are being stationed.
We could see from here as well, the several helicopters with awakened people on it , bombarding the Marinduque Island with their skills.
I could feel the Lich from the island and I could say that this one is strong. It could rival the mana of David.
"Mindanao's Guardian is here. Are you here to help us as well?" Ask the strongest awakened who could rival Charlie here.
Awakened people that hears it begun rushing at my destination. Followed by some soldiers. There are a few of them holding camera, recording my arrival at the island.
"Sorry but I only came here to mark Marinduque so I could come there when the reclamation for Marinduque starts." I explained.
"Well that is fine for us. We are glad that you will help us during that time as well. A lot has been sacrificed already so it's about time that we will show that Lich the power of the Filipinos. Yaaahhhhhh.." He then shouted and everyone followed his lead.
"I will go now. Please stay here and don't come near the island." I said and perform space rift and enter Marinduque.
Upon arrival I was already being bombarded with basic magic by the skeletons. But the necklace of protection provided me with impenetrable barrier.
Suddenly everyone stopped and the skeleton give ways to 4 skeleton knights and a Lich. It seems like the lich could use short range teleportation as well.
"Well well let's see who's better at magic." I said and suddenly two of the knights run towards my direction. Their weapon is imbued with some kind of magic and they tried to slash me but I teleport away using my ring.
I arrive in different location when suddenly hands made out of shadow tries to grab me from the ground. The mana used in these hands is similar to the mana signature of the Lich so I can assume that he's the one responsible for it.
Good thing I have the barrier and it protected me. Preventing me from being swallowed.
"You really are strong, no wonder you manage to conquer Marinduque. But I'm not here to fight you. I'm just here to give you a parting gift." I said and I gather a lot of mana in the sky.
--Thunder Storm--
I shouted my spell and thunders upon thunders rain down in the entire Marinduque City. I immediately teleported back to the Polo island.
"You're back. Is the Lich responsible for that thunders in Marinduque? We have no match for that spell." Someone said.
"No it's fine, I'm the one responsible for that. It's a little parting gift that I give to the Lich over there." I said while looking at the thunder storm that is very visible from Polo island.
"That was amazing. Your magic will certainly eradicate the skeletons over there. Your magic looks like... what is the best term for it? It's stuck in the tip of my tongue. I couldn't say it." The awakened who meet me begun thinking deeply.
"It looks like Divine Retribution" Selena said while looking at Marinduque as well.
"That's right, it looks like Divine Retribution. That's the term I've been looking for." He said.
I then ask for them for a paint and I painted a magic circle on the cemented floor and erected a barrier that will protect polo island.
"I already achieve my goal here. It's about that I return as well. The magic circle here needs mana stone or monster core to power the barrier and that Thunder Storm will last for 5 minutes more. This is all that I can do for now, my mana is almost depleted already so this is bye bye."
Everyone thank me and said their goodbyes to me. I teleported Selena along with the pilots and helicopter back to its place in Malacañang Palace. After that I teleported to David's room.
"Oh you're here. Thank God you are safe, I saw the live video of your appearance in the Polo Island." He said but I just grab him and kiss him.
"You're too hot. You over work your self again." He noticed.
"Let me rest." I said and I put my head to his should.
"Yeah, sleep now. I'll watch over you don't worry." He said and his manly voice assures me which makes me sleepy until my vision turns dark.
