Ellie stopped as we reached the stable. I gave him an apple and bid him farewell.
As I headed back to my room, I could still hear a few people bustling about near the rose garden. I took a peek to see what they were doing and noticed Zemis happily gazing up at a building they had just constructed. Judging from his gleaming eyes, it seemed like he was very proud of what they had built.
I walked closer towards him to take a look at what Zemis had done, and my jaw dropped, my eyes widening in disbelief.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. What kind of monstrosity even is this?!
I've only been gone for a few hours, but upon closer inspection, the building screamed "nightmare for engineers."
"WHAT IS HAPPENING?" I screamed.
Zemis turned to look at me with a smirk. "Oh, you're back. Well, anyway, isn't the design flawless?" he said with a confident look, feeling proud of his own design and creation.
