The white moon in the sky shone it's frigid white light on the icy storm below it. Occasional howls of the storm rang out from the place, when suddenly a mysterious transformation started.
The white moon suddenly started gaining a crimson red from it's edge which started spreading around it. The howls of the storm suddenly quieted down, as the massively falling snow started gaining a crimson red colour.
The entire world went silent while the moon in the sky was soon entirely covered in a deep crimson red.
The snow white place turning into an evil crimson red in less than seconds.
The moon suddenly started moving as it appeared at the top of a mountain shining it's crimson light on it as if it was the cause of the sudden change.
Inside the cave within the mountain, two figures could be seen.
A young man of about 16, tightly held the lifeless body of a girl of about 13 while whispering incomprehensible words to himself.
Lucian eyes were closed, a blank expression on his face but the same couldn't be said to his inner mind which was going through a major change.
'I've only wanted a single goal in life, to cure Mia's blindness. I've prayed to the heavens to grant me a powerful martial spirit but I ended up not awakening one. I didn't blame the heavens for that, it was simply fate.
Even though banished from my clan and humiliated, I never said a single word and shouldered the burden.
Even after my dreams were dashed away, I simply kept quiet and tried to find a quiet place to spend the remaining years of my life.
But in the end what happened. I got chased for my life, and had my sister life taken away from me in the process.
Mia placed so much trust in me, but I only failed her in the end. I only always lied to her. I lie about everything and kept her in the dark. I took advantage of her defect.
Uncle Jason trusted me to protect her, but now she's dead. I only ended up disappointing him too. I disappointed the clan for not awakening a Martial spirit at all.
In the end it's all my fault. Now even if it means death or being a slave, I'm willing to do anything to bring Mia back.
I no longer care what source that could be. I'm done with caring about good or evil.
So if there's anyone who can hear me right now. I'm willing to do anything to save Mia's life whether that be the heavens or hell, I'm willing to do anything..."
But everything was completely quiet, there was none who could help him. Or so he thought...
-- -- --
Lucian's Soul space.
Nine gigantic golden coloured stars each wrapped in massive chains extended into a dark abyss below.
The chains were completely golden in colour each incredibly massive while different runes could be seen etched on their surface as their ends extended into the deep abyss below.
The space was deathly silent but the silence got broken when the chains suddenly started clattering slowly but suddenly become moving erratically as if being pulled by something below.
The chains started moving erratically as the ruins on them flared with golden energy showing how hard they tried to struggle to hold whatever was pulling them but it all ended in failure as one of the chains suddenly broke.
A gigantic eyeball suddenly opened beneath the abyss. Horrifying blood red runes could be seen in the eye, while a ruinous dark energy emanated from its pupils which looked like an abyss.
It eyes stared at the massive stars and chains binding it. The slightest hint of disdain flickered within it's crimson pupils but it soon ignored them as he stared deep into the soul space.
It's eyes seemed to have pierced out from the space he was in and at Lucian as it's eyes shrink to needles on sighting at Lucian.
A surprised voice echoed throughout the void, shaking the entire space in pure power:
"Such pure demonic bloodline from a lowly human? What a perfect opportunity."
A new rune suddenly appeared in it's eyes as the eyeball suddenly locked on the boy in the distance.
Lucian felt all his emotion leaving him alone as his mind went blank unable to come to terms to with reality.
Mia was gone and nothing could bring her back.
But he was shocked speechless in the next second when he found himself standing before a massive eyeball.
Fear gripped Lucian's entire being as he felt the control of his body were suddenly taken away from him.
The aura from that eyeball which filled the entirety of his vision was just too awe-inspiring that he just stood there dumbly.
He felt as if he was staring at a god directly in the eye. It was the feeling of a lower life staring at a being so extremely high-up and beyond his comprehension.
"Wishing to do anything to save your sister life, you say?" A voice echoed into his ears as Lucian felt his mind went numb from shock but he was quick to bring himself back.
"I don't know what you are senior, nor do I care, but I'm truly willing to do anything to save my sister life." Lucian said with resolve in his voice.
"Saving your sister's life and even curing her blindness is not an impossibility. Besides I don't need you to become my slave or give your soul to me. I only need you to fulfill one request of mine in the future, one in which you can never say No to." The voice said into his ears as a golden coloured paper covered in chains suddenly appeared in front of Lucian's eyes.
"This here is an Heavenly Oath Contract Book. It will ensure you can never go against your words or you and anything related to you will suffer the wrath of the heavens. With your measly self right now, you won't even be able to raise a finger before dying immediately.
So do you agree?"
The voice said to Lucian's in a gentle whisper but Lucian's instinct kept telling him to never agree. Forget instinct, the sight of the blood red runes in the eyes and the dark energy emanating from the pupils screamed of extreme evil but what choices does he have. He was willing to become a slave if that meant Mia's life being saved so Lucian gave his choice.
Whether right or not, only time would tell.
"I, Lucian Atherston, I'm willing to fulfill a request of yours in the future in exchange of you saving my sister's life and curing all her defect..."
The book in front of him suddenly flared with a golden light while the loosely chain bonded together In the next second.
Lucian suddenly felt his heart tighten as if a lock has been placed on him. The golden page immediately disappeared in the next second as a voice rang once again in his ears.
"Good. Now with that out of the way, let's get back to your sister."
A vortex appeared in the massive eyes as Mia suddenly appeared in front of them both.
Her body was still and levitating horizontally in the space.
"Let me observe her a little..."The voice rang out once again as it focused on Mia.
Lucian saw the massive eyes suddenly quiver a little but was quick to return to normal.
His heart pounded madly in his chest as he waited for the result when the same voice rang out in his ears In the next second shocking him to his bones.
"Your sister.. She's not Blind."
"What?"
