Chapter 51 - CHAPTER FIFTY

IT HAD been an hour after lunch, and the family had decided to split up. As Isabelle walked down the street with grace in her gait despite her aching feet, tortured by high heels shoes of white patent leather, she could feel her frustration burning in her head and turning into a storm that had slowly been giving her a bigger headache. If only her husband hadn’t gotten tired just after lunch! But of course, he had told them all to hop onto the car and for Adda to take Ben somewhere to “have fun”. She knew all too well he just wanted to go home and watch tv without Ben annoying him, but especially that day it was exactly what she had told him not to do. She needed to spend time with Adda and all of them together as a family, but of course he had neglected that aspect.
