As Nikki and Kaushik drove towards ECR road on that drizzly evening, Kaushik began to narrate his memories of his hometown in Haryana. He described the lush green fields that surrounded his village, and how he could smell the fresh scent of wheat and soil during the rainy season.
As Kaushik spoke, Nikki could see the passion in his eyes, and she knew that this was a topic that was close to his heart. Kaushik went on to explain how he would sit on his field during the rain, watching as the drops gently caressed the crops and nourished the soil.
It was during those moments that Kaushik found his calling. He realized that he wanted to become a farmer when he retired from his corporate job. He wanted to spend his days cultivating the land, tending to the crops, and watching them grow.
Nikki listened intently to Kaushik's story, and she was touched by the simplicity and beauty of his dreams. She knew that this was a man who was deeply connected to the land, and who would find joy and fulfillment in working with nature.
Kaushik loudly asked, Where are we heading?
nikki" twist lounge bar"
Kaushik, "check out the route."
Rain started to patter fast. Nikki held an umbrella for him while they were driving. They reached the location, but unfortunately, it was closed. Nikki's face became disappointed, and he noticed her disappointed face.
Kaushik: Hey, that's okay, we can buy it from somewhere. Do you know any place?
Nikki: No yaar, I heard this place has the best pub where we can sit and talk more. I am sorry."
Kaushik: "Shall we do some cheap thrills?
Nikki, "cheap thrills".
Kaushik: "You're wishing for beer? Just wait here, I'll buy it for you.
after a few minutes, he checked his mobile phone and then quickly got out of the scooter. He returned a few minutes later with a carry-on bag in hand.
Kaushik: Shall we go to the beach?"
Nikki: Just now, the cyclone dissipated, and the beach must look like crap and a disaster."
Kaushik: "Arey Queen Elizabeth, just one hour, make your moment to do cheap thrill."
Nikki laughs, Let's go there!"
Nikki and Kaushik drove towards Besant Nagar beach, excited to spend the evening by the sea. But as they arrived, they noticed something unusual - there was an eerie calmness that hang over the beach. The usual throngs of people were nowhere to be seen.
It wasn't until they got out of the scooty that they realized why. A recent cyclone had passed through the area, and the authorities had closed the beach for safety reasons. Nikki and Kaushik were disappointed, but they understood the need for caution.
Despite the lack of crowds, the beach still held a certain charm. A few street vendors had set up shop, offering sweet corn, ice-cola, and fresh fish to anyone who passed by. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was soothing, and the breeze carried the salty scent of the sea.
The sand was damp and compacted, with traces of seaweed and other debris scattered around. The waves were rough and choppy, crashing against the shore with a powerful force. The sky was overcast, with dark clouds looming overhead, creating a gloomy atmosphere. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was louder than usual, and the wind was gusting, creating a salty mist that hung in the air.
Despite the damage caused by the cyclone, the beach still held a certain beauty. The rough waves created a mesmerizing pattern as they rolled towards the shore, and the salty scent of the sea was stronger than usual. The vendors' stalls were brightly colored, offering a splash of vibrancy against the dull backdrop of the stormy sky.
Kaushik "Nikki, I bought only one tin of beer."
Nikki"what? but why?"
Kaushik "There's only one beer available in that store, but I have one idea: let's do one running competition."
Nikki: I hate running."
Kaushik, "weak Tamil Nadu people."
"Oh, let's see if Tamil women are strong enough to beat you in running," Nikki raged.
"Let's see who wins, Tamil Nadu or Haryana?" says Kaushik.
Nikki: "Don't dare to challenge me? That beer is mine."
Kaushik set up the target on the alone pillar in front of the shore from the entrance of Elliott Beach.
Kaushik and Nikki strewed their legs and nodded together as enemies.
Kaushik one, two, two, three, three and run.
Nikki and Kaushik raced towards the towering pillar that loomed ahead of them, their footsteps pounding against the pavement in perfect unison. Nikki was determined to win, her eyes fixed on the prize ahead as she pushed herself harder and harder.
Her lungs burned with every breath, her heart pounding in her chest, but she refused to give up.As they neared the pillar, Nikki surged ahead, her legs pumping faster and faster as she sprinted towards the finish line. Kaushik, left in her wake, could only watch in awe as she crossed the line in a flurry of arms and legs, her funny running style only adding to her victorious glory.
Breathless and triumphant, Nikki turned to Kaushik with a grin on her face. "I told you I was fast," she gasped, still struggling to catch her breath. "You should never underestimate a girl with lungs of steel. Tamil nadu win"
Nikki's face twisted in disbelief as Kaushik pulled out two tins of Budweiser from his carry bag. "Are you serious?" she exclaimed, still panting from the intense race.
"You made me run all the way here just to get beer?"
Kaushik just chuckled, cracking open one of the tins and taking a long swig. "Come on, Nikki," he said, holding out the other tin to her. "You have to admit, it was pretty fun to watch you run like a drunkholic for that beer."
Nikki rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but laugh at Kaushik's antics. "You're ridiculous," she said, taking the tin from him and cracking it open. "But I have to admit, this beer does taste pretty damn good after all that running."
Nikki took a sip of the beer, her taste buds recoiling at the bitter flavor. "Why do people like to drink this?" she asked, grimacing.
Kaushik laughed, taking another swig of his own beer. "It's an acquired taste," he said.
"Once you get used to it, it's actually quite enjoyable."
Nikki raised an eyebrow. "I don't know if I can acquire a taste for something that tastes like I'm chewing on a bunch of bitter leaves," she said, taking another small sip.
Kaushik just shrugged. "To each their own," he said with a grin. "But for me, there's nothing like cracking open a cold one after a long day."then why do you wishing for this beer ?
nikki "i want to enjoy my freedom today.i want to do some crime "and she burped and both of them laugh hard
kaushik "drinking beer can sometimes make a person burp frequently"
kaushik"its not crime at all"
The two of them sat down near the pillar, both joking and teasing each other. their legs still shaking from the intense sprint. As they sipped their beers and caught their breath, they couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie and adventure, knowing that they had just shared a moment that they would never forget.
