On business trips like this one, it was normal for Stuart to receive a call from his parents and Marie. He had spoken to his parents earlier, and after a long and pointless chat with them, the call ended. Now he was on the phone with Marie, and he could feel the energy coming off her, even though they were time and space apart.
"Just show me around, will you? It's not like I plan to steal the house from you," Marie pouted. She had tried persuading Stuart to show her around the house for the longest time, but he refused, saying he was too busy to show her around. What exactly he was busy with, she had no idea. "You are so annoying!" She huffed, finally deciding to lay the matter to rest.
