Seeing that Seth was taking longer than usual to respond, Stuart shook his head. Every stubborn person will be met with the same fate. Without hesitating, he ripped off yet another page of a beautiful cherry blossom tree. Seth did not cry this time. He just stared and stared, looking like one who had been traumatized after watching a horror movie. Just as Stuart was about to tear off another page, Seth reacted quickly and snatched the book from his hand. He did not forget to take the other books as well to prevent them from getting assaulted by this weird man.
"Now, now, Seth, those books aren't yours yet," Stuart chastised, shaking his head disapprovingly. He sat there and watched Seth's resolve crumble and he smiled, praising himself for a well-done job.
Seth sighed. This was between his anger and his book, and he had to let go of one. With a deep inhale of fresh breath, he said, "Fine! I will apologize. Call him in."
