Mrs. Claire returned with the pregnancy test strip, she brought two for double confirmation.
"Here." She said and handed to over to Mylar who reluctantly took it and went into the bathroom.
When she got inside the bathroom, she forced herself to pee in a clean white container and after that she conducted the test.
Ahhh! Mrs. Claire heard her daughter scream from the bathroom and quickly went inside, she found Mylar on the floor of the bathroom crying.
Mrs. Claire took the strip from her and checked it, two colored lines had appeared on the test strip showing that it is positive.
"You're pregnant." Mrs. Claire said almost to herself.
"Oh my God, how could this happen." Mrs. Claire said aloud staring at Mylar who continued to cry.
"Who is responsible for it?" Mrs. Claire asked after Mylar was calm.
"I don't know." Mylar replied and her mom said surprised.
"How do you not know? How many men have you had sex with this past few months?"
"I don't remember, it all happened at the club but I don't remember with whom I did it."
"Should we go to the hospital to confirm again? This just cannot be happening to me after meeting with Jaden." Mylar said and got emotional again, Mrs. Claire agreed and they went to the private hospital close by.
"They have arrived." Diego announced as he saw Benjamin coming back. The three events planned were seated on the opposite direction facing Diego.
They were well dressed, the first on the row was a woman in her forties known for her long time experience in event planning, she is Mrs. Quinn, a Thai American woman who was also married to an American man, British to be precise.
She has arranged several high class events including the most hyped and trending birthday party of mayor Allen Dickens of the city of Atlanta Georgia.
In the middle was a man also in his forties, a smart event planners who arranges kids and adult parties for both the rich and middle class making him more popular among the public.
He is from Florida but has lived in Atlanta since he married his wife and according to rumors, his wife is his backbone in the event planners circle, she paved the way for him. He is Mr. Simon.
The lady event planner on the seat is way younger than the others, he is a thirty years old young man with an amazing look that attracts a lot of women to him allowing him to get more customers and so he also plans weddings. He is Mr. Luke but his doesn't like the Mr. added to his name.
He is known for his impressive educational background and family background, he himself was already rich before he decided to become an event planner, he has had several girlfriends or rather casual girlfriends in the past because he is polyamory but that doesn't matter, it's his private life.
"Welcome." Benjamin said to them after giving each one a handshake. If you didn't know about Diego, you would think Benjamin was the boss because of how behaved he is, his elegance is also something else.
Emelda came after him and gave each of them a handshake as well, she went to where Benjamin was seated and sat right next to him again, when he looked at her she smiled mischievously at him.
"Let's start by each of you introducing yourself, although we have read your resumes but we still need your introduction." Benjamin said to them and so each took turns in standing up and introducing themselves.
After introducing themselves, Benjamin said to them.
"You all have very nice resumes, so you are all hired but we will like you to start work immediately."
They all stared at each other after hearing that and Mr. Simon asked.
"Why do we have to start today?"
"The party is tomorrow and we want all preparations done today, do not worry about your money. You do know whose house you are in right now, it's Mr. Mateo Wylder's mansion, CEO of W'M and also a filthy rich billionaire." Benjamin replied also reminding them of all how they would make.
"The old man will pay you more than enough for your hard work." Diego chirped in and they all looked at him confused.
"Who is the old man?" Mrs. Quinn asked and he quickly corrected him.
"My granddad will pay you guys a lot of money."
Oh! They all chorused.
"Then we should start immediately by surveying the house, will the pretty lady do us the honor of showing us around?" Luke said looking at Emelda.
"She hasn't said anything for a while now." He added and smiled when she looked at him.
"Thank goodness, if this guy starts flirting with her then I will finally save myself from her." Benjamin thought to himself and a hopeful smile came on his lips.
"Will you do us the honors miss?" Luke asked her and she replied.
"Emelda!"
"I can't show you guys around, I barely remember the structure of the house so how can I show you guys around? Diego should do it, after all he's the owner of the house." Emelda said looking at Diego.
"Why we all go around the house together?" Benjamin suddenly suggested cooling off the tension between the two as they stared at each other.
They all agreed and went together starting from the first floor.
Mylar got the test done and sat down waiting for the result after insisting that she wanted the result today itself ignoring the doctors retort.
"Don't be worried, all we have to do is find out who is responsible and that is all." Mrs. Claire said in her own way of comforting her.
"That is not all mom, my relationship with Jaden will be ruined. I will lose Jaden mom." Mylar cried out.
"Relax please. Let's just see the result first." Mrs. Claire said before the saw a nurse coming towards them and the nurse said to them.
"The doctor is calling for you."
They got into the doctor's office and she asked them to seat down after that she handed Mylar the result.
"You are one month pregnant." The doctor announced demoralizing Mylar, she felt weak and the tears flowed out of her eyes like tiny waterfalls.
"Congratulations." The doctor said unsure of Mylar's reaction.
"You need to make an appointment for prenatal care as soon as possible to ensure a healthy pregnancy." The doctor added and then kept quiet watching Mylar.
"The lady seems to be of age to have a child then why is she behaving like this?" The doctor thought to herself.
"Thank you doctor." Mrs. Claire finally said after a while and helped Mylar up to leave the office.
"Mom, this is bad. I will lose Jaden." Mylar cried to her mom when they got into a cab.
"Stop saying that, let's find out who is responsible for the pregnancy first." Mrs. Claire said to her and so Mylar kept quiet.
"The Wylder mansion is really an amazing place to live, you are one lucky fellow Diego. Can you call you that, after all I am a lot older than you right?" Luke said smiling at Diego, his smile was annoying Diego. He was upset about Benjamin before but here is another annoying man and this one is almost like him in terms of attitude, a total womaniser.
"The house is fine but it will be indeed an hectic job." Mrs. Quinn expressed her observation.
"But no we can handle it." Mr. Simon said looking at her and she nodded in agreement.
After surveying the entire house, the three events planners started calling their assistance to come over. They all skillfully shared the work amongst themselves, from buying the cake, to the entertainment rentals, to the party favors, to invitations, to food and beverages supplies etc, they shared it all amongst themselves to make the work easier.
The Wylder mansion staffs were also assembled and Diego told each of them to do whatever they can to assist the event planners.
"Shall we have a few drinks to cool ourselves?" Benjamin suggested and they all happily agreed with him.
They sat down together on the nicely designed benches outside in the garden and were all served beverages of their choices.
Benjamin got himself a pineapple juice, Diego got himself a Lavender 75 drink. Emelda, a Martini, Mr. Simon, a Mojito, Mrs. Quinn, a Pared-Down Margarita and Luke, a doux Champagne.
"Let's make a toast." Luke said and they all stared at him.
"A toast to a successful grand birthday party." He said and raised his glass, they all did the same.
Cheers! They chorused clicking their glass cups together.
Mylar and her mom got home and Mrs. Claire told her daughter to go think it through to know who the person might be.
"Mom, I think if I look through my things at the house I will be able to find something to remind me of whom I had sex with a month ago." Mylar said after a while and they went to their house instead locking Jaden's house up, Mylar left the key in his flower pot hanging on the wall outside the house.
After getting home, she went into the room and started scattering her bags hoping to find something that might remind her.
