She boarded a cab that took her straight to 420 East 61st Street, black glass tower (one Sutton Place North) Manhattan, New York.
A David Brody-designed rental tower. The most sought-after rental residence in the city, a rising 42-story building.
She got out of the cab and walked to the building, the security was right outside.
"Good morning ma'am." He greeted her with a lovely smile on his face and opened the door for her, perhaps he thought she was also one of the rich and famous.
"Good morning." She replied with a smile on her face and went in. This was how she wanted to be, people showing her respect and treating her right and not like a piece of trash. There were security cameras everywhere. She went through the extravagant lobby to one of the elevators and pressed the button to the 41st floor.
Khai Montero was seated on his fluffy sofa in a white robe barely covering his body. He smiled and got up as soon as he saw Mylar, he had left his door open waiting for her arrival.
"You finally agreed to meet me beautiful. Welcome to my abode." He spoke lovingly and greeted her in the usual way but his pecks were much more deep and took longer than usual.
Khai was a car dealer who had more than one thousand staff working under him. His houses spread across different cities in the country. He was one super-rich dude with all the right connections but he had only one problem and that was womanizing.
He met Mylar only four nights before at one of the most exclusive clubs in New York City and invited her over to his house.
She had to think it over severally before she finally agreed to come.
She sat down after being asked to and he also sat next to her with a sexy smile on his face as he asked.
"What would you like to drink?"
"Just water will be fine," Mylar replied to him as she looked around the expensively furnished apartment, she was feeling very nervous but couldn't stop looking around as well.
Khai raised his brows surprised by her reply.
"No, I don't agree with that. I will get you a glass of mulled wine, one of my specialties." He said and then corrected himself.
"The only drink I know how to make. I would have offered you something else but I already gave my staff a day off." After he said this, he went straight to the kitchen to make it.
Mylar took her time to savor the beauty of the place. She wished she could live in such a house, enjoying the most wonderful cinema experience in a clean shiny house without any disturbance from kids and their parents.
