"I have been working here for three years and for two years now, I have been paying the loan of $80000 that I took to save my mom's life when she was at the hospital. When am I going to finish paying you or are you simply trying to tie me down here for the rest of my life?"
She was furious and her blood was boiling as if on fire. She could feel the heat coming out from inside of her, she was absolutely tired and frustrated. For several years she wasn't able to achieve anything because of this club, each time she tried to go for an interview she would get there late because she couldn't sleep at night.
Now she's had it, she isn't going to allow him to keep her here any longer. He watched her vent out her frustrations, and then he went closer to her and whispered in her ears.
"Now you know that I want to keep you here but do you know why? Because everyone that works here belongs to me and I can use them however I please. If you try to leave this place, I will hunt you down and when I do find you, I will end your precious life. If you want to leave this place, then pay for your freedom as well, until then don't mess with me."
He walked away from her with a vicious smile on his face. Two drops of tears fell out of Mylar's eyes, how will she leave now that Ozzy is even threatening her?
Her life is officially over.
"Hey, Princess Mylar." called someone from behind. When Mylar turned towards the person, it was Vida Colter one of the stripers in the club and the only true friend Mylar had.
"Girl, are you crying?" She asked when she saw Mylar's wet face and teary eyes.
She quickly went to Mylar and gave the most comforting hug, Mylar needed the hug at that moment.
Mylar told her everything that happened and how Ozzy threatened her.
"You don't have to worry about that, I know and I believe that one day Jesus will save us from this place. And also you are intelligent and hard-working, I know you will be able to make enough money to buy yourself out of here in less than a year." Vida said to her smiling.
Vida was into drug trafficking until two years ago when she was almost caught by the authorities at the airport, but she was saved by a single prayer she said to 'Jesus' Since then, she has become a devoted Christian and could never do without talking about Christ, even for a day.
Mylar hugged her tightly, Vida cleaned Mylar's face with her hands and they went back to work.
