Ayra's POV
Our class was over so we went out to the classrom. Nicol, Jean and I are walking down the hallway now. We didn't talk. Just kept quiet until I asked.
"Where is Kim?"
Kim is also our friend. She's funny so the three of us looking for her when we're bored because she's talkative, telling story with us.
"Just let's go," Jean gently suggested.
"She's here! It's Kim!" Nicol pointed to Kim coming towards us.
And why did she only show up now?
"Oh, why didn't you come in our class?" I asked here with one eyebrow still raised.
"I woke up late," she replied as if not yet on her own.
"We already have a dorm, Kim There's no reason to be late," Jean's counter to her. It seems like she prefers to point out but I don't understand.
Nicol frowned. "You're out of breath, Kim," she commented.
I think these people have noticed somethinf. Their faces are serious. Any problems?
"You know, Nicol. I cleaned my dorm," she answered boredly.
She didn't want to smile. It's like she doesn't want to see us or she is just a moody?
"Hardworking, huh," I murmmured and walked ahead.
I also have no appetite. Kim is contagious.
"I'll go first. I still have work to do, guys," Kim said goodbye and left.
Maybe it's just like that when you just wake up. She also avoids us but for what reason?
We're only three of us again, walking.
"Let's go to the mall first!" Nicol exclaimed with an exciting tone of voice.
I raised my right eyebrow to her because those who sleep here are not allowed to go out.
"We are not allowed to go out, Nicol. Stop that," Jean protested.
"Ayra is with us. What's the problem of that, Jean? Right, Ayra?" she even smiled at me. I saw her white teeth so I rolled my eyes at her.
"Tsk," I sighed. "I'm just wondering, why did Kim come with us only once?"
I opened the topic.
"Let her go, Ayra. Let's just have fun!" Jean and Nicol pulled me away.
Fuck.
I did nothing until I reached the school gate. My friends have pulled me over, I have no escape.
"Guard, they're with me," I said to the guard. He nodded immediately so my friends are happy.
We got in my car, Jean was in the back, Nicol was in the passenger seat. I turned it on and we quickly got to the nearby mall.
"Come down, we're here," I commanded without emotion.
They went down. We entered the Mall, not many people so not too crowded. Even though this Mall is big. It is difficult to walk around here because sometimes there are so many people.
"Well, just color your hair, Ayra. I do not like red," Nicol interfered with my hair.
Yes, interfering.
"Yes. Go to the parlor!" Jean agreed and shouted.
What did my hair do to them?
"You just colored that because of Bryx, didn't you? So change your hair color. Move on, Ayra," Nicol said.
I ignore them. I went straight to the restaurant that I did not answer any of their questions. We entered the restaurant. We immediately saw a vacancy so we sat down. I sat quietly.
"Menu please," Nicol ordered and the waiter handed it to her immediately.
"What's your food, Ayra? What do you want to eat?" Jean asked me while staring at the menu.
"Anything."
"That's Ace, isn't it?" Nicol's eyes were really sharp. Her sight was already on the menu but she still saw Ace. Just wow.
I looked at what she pointed out and it was Ace. He was accompanied by a woman, probably his girlfriend. That's good. But what does it do here? With a woman his dating.
Later they ordered and quickly reserved so we ate. While eating, I have no emotion because I'm just really wondering about Bryx's mysterious mistress. Mysterious because it's too secretive.
"Bess!" Nicol called me so I turned my gaze to her. "Too depth of your thinking, huh. What is it? Spill. We can help you."
It was also a few seconds before I answered. "It's Bryx. He has a mysterious mistress. When I see them, he covers the face. I'm just wondering and I want to know now who is she."
Their foreheads furrowed, wondering as well.
"I told you. Divorce your husband first! He's a fucking cheater, Ayra!"
I could feel the annoyance in Nicol's voice. She just didn't really want to hurt me.
"Stop it, Nicol. Let's let her decide," Jean glared at Nicol but Nicol rolled her eyes at her.
"Never mind. Let's just eat. What time is it?" I change the topic. I don't want to talk about that any longer.
"It's going to be eight o'clock," Nicol replied.
We finished our meal so we decided to go university. The curfew at the school is only until 10:00 o'clock.
"Come on. Let's go. We're going to be late. Remember the university rules?" I told them so they rode on.
I drove back to the university because they had to go back there. As a student have dorm here.
"Another event, Ayra. Your birthday is coming up. What will you do? Bonding? Bonding with friends? Family? Or what? For yourself?" Nicol. She rememberes my birthday.
"Why do we need to celebrate? Nothing will happen. I'm contented here. Like this," I answered coldly while the sight was just on the road.
"Anyway, to your parents?"
"I don't want to show them."
"What a waste. Your and Bryx's anniversary is coming up," Jean said.
"Let him go. I don't want to celeberate. That's it," I answered simply.
"Do you really love him?" Nicol asked confused because of my answers. She have a lots of questions.
"Yes, I love him. I'll celebrate my birthday and our anniversary if that person is important to you but he don't have a care for me so can we stop the drama?"
"Argh, remember what I ordered, Ayra. If you're tired, divorce."
"It's easy to say, it's hard to do. He's the one who said of that but I can't do it."
I remembered what he said earlier and I just felt a tear on my cheeks. Why are they asking? It hurts me when I remember. Is it soft hearted? Ayra, you're being too silly.
"Still arranged married?"
"I don't know."
We didn't talk anymore until we got to university. We went down, I'll take them to the gate.
"Evening," I greeted the guard with a smile. He just nodded.
"Nothing good in the evening," I joked. "Alright, bye." I said goodbye to my friend.
"Bye, bessy!"
"Bye, divorce, huh!"
When I couldn't see them I went back to the parking lot but before I got on, I saw Ace and Dave. Late at night, they were still outside.
"Hi, Ayra," Dave greeted me.
"Tsk."
"It's late, huh?" Ace. I should be the one to ask that.
"Of course not in the morning," I whispered that they hadn't heard.
"Bryx?" Dave asked.
"You can ask his mistress," I said and got into the car.
"Divorce to him, hahahaha," he laughed out loud obviously teasingly. Fuck shit.
"You know what?" I stared at him "I'm going to hit you and Nicol so you better shut hp," I looked at him badly. Indicated that I was irritated.
"Advance happy birthday," he greeted.
I didn't thank him. I just started my car. While I was driving my cellphone was ringing.
Bryxwell is calling.
He got a few calls but I didn't answer until he got tired.
It's up to you.
When I got home our guard opened the gate, I went straight to the garage. I got out of the car and was supposed to go inside but I saw Bryx with a fucking woman.
I couldn't see the woman's face because it was turned away from me. She is the mysterious mistress. My chest tightens while I watching them. At the same time as my chest tightened, my tears accompanied me. Who is this? Why.. haha?
I wiped away my tears and tried to be strong to face them. I walked over to them and Bryx spotted me quickly. His eyes widened and hid his mistress. That's him again, he doesn't want to show the face of his mistress. Should I not interfere?
"What are you doing here?" he asked me and hid his mistress. He didn't want to show the face of that fucking woman.
I just followed this woman as she walked out of the house. Her body is familiar to me, where did I see it? I wanted to pull her but my body wouldn't move.
I turned to Bryx and grinned. "What am I doing here? Where should I go home? To Ace's dorm?"
"It's already late."
He changed the topic.
"Who's your mistress?" my voice is tingling. "Is that woman itchy or good in bed?"
"Watch your mouth!" he yelled at me angrily.
So he's defending that woman? How funny. I think that woman is very lucky.
"Why are you defending her?"
"Tsk."
"Maybe your mistress is beautiful, right? Can I meet her, Falcon?" I try to make my speech annoying because I'm really frustrated.
"I don't care about this, you know?"
"When did you ever care about this?" I have a sarcastic question.
"Are you jealous?" he's straight.
"Who wouldn't be jealous? You? I'm your wife on paper so I still have the right to be jealous."
"We don't love each other so you can find others too, woman. Stop pretending, you bitch!"
"I've wanted to do that for a long time, Falcon. Remember Falcon, when I can't take this situation, I won't hesitate to divorce you." I stopped and stared into his eyes. "Isn't that what you want so you can still think of a way to hurt me too much and when I can't take it anymore. What you want will come true. Happy, right?"
He smirked. "Thanks for the idea."
"I'll be the first to sign the annulment paper," I said and walked into the house.
"Why did you just go home now?"
"Why do you care, huh? We don't care about each other anymore."
"I'm hungry, woman! That's my wife's job!"
I turned to him. "Weren't you full when you ate your mistress? Or did you justify that you just tasted her—"
I didn't finish what I was about to say when he slapped me.
"Too sharp, Ayra!" he shouted at me.
That woman was important to him! He hit me!
I straightened up in front of him. "Why? Is it a big deal? You've been doing that for a long time Falcon so don't clean up. Sometimes in your room, isn't it? We both know that!"
"You know? I can't learn to love you because of your behavior. Dave is right. Even a smile, you can't do it. What a woman."
Fuck, what's the problem there?
I was bored with him. "I don't like everyone interfering with my behavior. And me? I don't know how to smile? Ever since I entered this hell, I don't like everyone! Is it based on a smile?! On emotion?! Why? Who else smiles here, huh? You love the man but the one you love just hurts you over and over again. Now, tell me, Falcon? Are you kidding me again?!"
"Is that what you believe here? Who wants to get married on paper? Is it you, right?!"
"A thickness of your face, Falcon. I just loved you and made a fool of you but I didn't despair for you," I said firmly. He was stunned. "Soon, Bryx. Soon. Our argument will be over. Nothing like this anymore."
Then I went to the kitchen.
Bryxwell's POV
I was stunned by what she said. Why am I still arguing with this woman? Yes, I slapped her. The sharpness of her tongue is annoying. She didn't know that so she could judge.
"They said I should just dorm."
She's really annoying, huh?
"Who said?" I immediately questioned.
"I am."
"Alright, try to sleep there. Remember, Ayra, we were the owner then. I'll make a way so you can't stay there."
She frowned at me. "Wow! My husband still cares about me."
"Don't make sense, you're coming out assume."
"You just said that. At least you care about me because I'm your wife or because I'm a woman?"
"Exactly."
"But you don't care what I do. I'll just ask Ace for advice," I teased to him.
Why does he always mention Ace's name?
"We talk seriously Ayra and then you'll join someone's name here, huh?"
What's wrong with this woman?!
"Why, Falcon? Is there a problem there?" She looked at me innocently.
"You're arrogant, bitch."
She turned to me while drinking water. "Why do you react like that? Is there a problem?"
"No--"
Suddenly her phone rang. Badtrip! We are still talking. Who is this?
Ace calling...
I picked up her phone and turned it off. I was disgusted again and she really knew my friend's number. She even actually gave her number.
"Why did you missed?" Anger was in her voice. Shouldn't it?
"Why? We're talking. He's disturbing us."
"He's your friend, Falcon."
"You called not me."
She ignored what I said.
"I'm going to sleep, Falcon. If you're hungry, just eat. Just look in the kitchen."
"I'm not done yet, Ayra!" I said annoyed.
She raised her eyebrows. "What is it?"
"Why aren't you answering my call?"
"Because I don't want to. Period."
Then she entered her room.
I followed her with my eyes until I cried out. "Argh!" I punched the wall out of annoyance. In our argument, I feel like I'm the loser now. "I'm mad at you because we broke up with my ex-girlfriend because of that wedding! You fucker!"
Stupid, Bryx! You fucking stupid!
Ayra's POV
I entered my room crying. My tears are really shallow. Why? Huh? I cried right now!
I closed the door and stood back, letting out my true feelings. I always lose as long as he is my opponent.
"Why didn't you fight me in that wedding, Ace?!" My tears kept coming, I was irritated. I wanted to get lost. I'm getting tired of this.
"I'm happier with you. Why didn't you fight me with him, huh? I'm tired of this!" As my tears flowed, I sat on the floor without realizing it.
"The pain! The mess! I'm so fucking tired! Please, out me in this situation!"
Bryxwell's POV
"Argh!" I shouted.
What I hold I throw away. My life is messed up because of you.
"Fuck that fucking marriage!"
Fuck it!
"I... fucking love you but most of all I hate you."
To be continued ...
