Ayra's POV
Nicol kissed Falcon...
I looked at my friends Kim, Jean, Ace, Ross, and Dave, who all had expressions of surprise and annoyance on their faces.
I walked in smiling and clapping. "Wow! The beauty of your kissing scene. You didn't even say you were going to make a scandal because I can be a camera woman," I said sarcastically, and they immediately looked at us and stood up.
"Ayra," they both said in unison, clearly shocked and scared by our behavior.
"I'm not Ayra, I'm hell, especially now that I can kill." I smiled fakely, my face unable to hide the emotion.
I didn't know which emotion to let dominate, anger or pain?
"I'm sorry," Nicol quickly apologized.
My ears tingled at her words. "Come on, Nicol." I stared at her right in the eyes. "I suspected Kim was Falcon's mistress, but it turns out it's only you? What a fake friend you are."
Falcon suddenly interjected. "No, it's not Kim."
His actions clearly showed his uncertainty. I could feel he wanted to defend Kim.
"Why did you kiss each other last night?"
"Ayra—" Kim started.
"Are you stupid? I just said I'm not Ayra."
"Sorry," she said, bowing her head due to my words. "Hell, Bryx and I weren't kissing when I went to your house. I was talking to Bryx about how to stop Nicol. That was my purpose, nothing else."
"Do you still need to cover your faces?" I stopped and chuckled. "You're acting like clowns, fuck. I looked like a fool. So many people got involved."
I looked at them emotionlessly. You couldn't read anything from my expression.
"I hid Kim's face because I knew you were suspicious of my mistress. I'm hiding her face. Maybe she's the one you suspect," my husband explained quickly.
I nodded. "What's your relationship, both of you?" They were obviously surprised by my question.
"He's my ex-boyfriend."
"She's my ex-girlfriend."
My head heated up. There was no nervousness or pain in my heart, just anger. Are my friends playing a joke on me? Should I stop trusting them? Why do I feel like I know so much about them?
"Fuck!" I shouted and kicked the wall so my fist bled. They would have approached but I stopped them. "Stay away from me. I don't need a friends"
I don't look them in the eye, it's like I'm numb now.
Kim's voice sounded sad as she spoke. "I'm really sorry."
"Falcon and Kim are exes?" I nodded. "How about you, Nicol? Like a snake or something? Itchy?"
"Sorry, Ay—"
"Trying to be funny?"
"Sorry—"
"I don't need your apologies. Explain yourself. If I don't like it, get out of my sight."
"Sorry, please." She tearfully begged for forgiveness. "Please, forgive me. We're friends before, you'd think it's not—"
"Really? Do I care?" I took a deep breath and rubbed my face. "Are you stupid? Explain and I'll listen. Don't apologize and lecture me because no matter how many times you say it, I really don't care!"
She closed her eyes because of my shouting.
"Ayr—Hell, that's enough."
"Don't mess with me, Mr. Bryxwell Falcon, the owner of Falcon University. Don't interrupt, we're talking about traitors here."
I gave her a disdainful look. I wasn't sure if I was seeing right, but there was a hint of hurt on Falcon's face. Again, I don't care so I let it be.
"Hell."
All of them.
"Explain," I ordered sternly. "You can go to hell if you lie to me."
"We were childhood friends with Bryx. I used to cry whenever my crush would reject with me or my boyfriend would hurt me. Bryx was always there for me, so I grew fond of him. I asked him for a favor that when we grow up, we'll get married, and he promised. He broke that promise when we entered high school because of you. Bryx would always stare at you and follow you. Whenever you looked at him and talked to him, he'd always tell me about it. I was jealous, and I witnessed his love for you. He would get jealous when you're with someone else and it hurt me too because of him. One day, my world shattered when Bryx told me that he told your parents that you two would get married when you come of legal age. That's when I started to hate you. I befriended you to introduce you to Kuya Jeedler so when you became a couple, Bryx would leave you alone, and I succeeded. But I got even angrier at you because of the accide—"
Falcon said I was the one who wanted to get married. What the fuck? If he didn't tell our parents. Then he's free and I'm free.
"Nicol, how many years ago was that? It's not my fault if he died. I'm crying every night. Don't act that you're the victim here." Psh, I sound so kind. "If you're hurting, what about me? It's not just you who got hurt from your brother's death. Here I am, feeling guilty because your brothe—"
"No, Kuya Jeedler isn't dead."
Wait, what?
"What did you say?"
"He's alive, he's alive." He's alive then she's taking revenge on me? "After that accident, he got amnesia. He couldn't remember us so I got angry at you. Because of you, he lost his memories. His life became miserable."
"Who am I visiting at the cemetery?"
"I orchestrated all that," she said. "I made you believe. The truth is, Kuya Jeedler was taken to America and now he's recovered. He's here in the Philippines. He cries every time he remembers you. You shattered my brother's heart, so I needed to break yours. He cries because he found out you're already married."
"He's here?"
"Yes, that's why when he came back, I took Bryx away from you because I knew that when you see Kuya Jeedler, you'll go back to him and leave Bryx. I know you still miss my brother, you still love him."
"You're wrong." My voice raised slightly. I'm irritated by her assumptions. "I misss him because I feel guilty, I just said that earlier. I love him, but not like before, stupid. That night, I broke up with him, not just because he's leaving, but also because of my parents. Because of this fucking arranged marriage. If you've noticed that I sometimes search for him, is it wrong to remember someone who pretends to be dead?"
"Sorry."
"We're just telling stories now, so continue your tale."
"I just lost my angry for you when Bryx and Kim got together in high school. I was friends with Kim and introduced her to you. Because if Kim found out that Bryx would marry you, she'd get angry and try to stop the wedding, but I was wrong. Kim let go."
Calm down, Hell. I might kill someone.
"Continue," I said coldly and looked away.
"I'm sorry, I was blinded by love—"
I slapped Nicol with all my might, causing her to spit and her cheeks to turn red.
"That's enough!" Ace shouted and tried to touch me.
"Don't you know me yet, Ace?! No one can stop me from this so leave!' I sighed at Nicol and looked coldly at her. "Blind by love?" I asked with a laugh. "Stupid! You're not blind! You're desperate, Nicol! Desperate!" I stopped and looked her in the eyes. "When did you start getting involved with Falcon? You still remembered he was married so you can't call that blind!" I pushed her out of annoyance. "You're stupid, bitch! Falcon doesn't really love you because I hurt you and he didn't even defend you, woman!"
"Enough!"
"Stop it!"
"This is too much!"
They shoutes.
"You don't know me!" I faced them. "Your attempt to stop me is useless!"
"Who are you really?" they asked.
They're starting to suspect something from my behavior.
"You're still asking?" Really? They have the nerve. "Maybe you're avoiding me or scared of me? But that's fine too. You know what? I don't trust all of you I'm not surprised by these events."
But that's not true, I do trust them.
"Ayra," Jean cried but I ignored her.
"I'm the queen of the Mafia Organization. I'm the queen of the gangster world, ranked number 1. I'm the Empress of the Empire. I've learned things that can kill people. In short, I'm a criminal. I don't kill innocent people but maybe now, yes." I looked at Nicol. "Lastly, I'm the queen of the Hellonic Gang, also known as the Cancer of the underworld. Always remember, cancer has no cure." I turned to Falcon. "Don't be afraid, Bryxwell. I know a lot."
He was taken aback by what I said. It seemed like he didn't expect me to find out what about him.
"How did you know?" he asked.
"I'm too lazy to explain." I turned to Nicol, who was now standing beside Falcon. "How sweet," I sarcastically remarked.
"I'm sorry, be," she asked for forgiveness again.
Ugh, isn't she tired of apologizing?
"When did my name become 'be'?" I turned to Nicol. "Aren't you afraid of me? I have no heart if I kill a person and I have no pity."
Jean touched both of my cheeks while crying. "I'm always here for you, Ayra... Please, stop..."
Jean! Not now! Not now, Jean.
My tears are shallow when an important person cries in front of me.
Slowly, I hugged her back and leaned my chin on her shoulder until my tears flowed. Just now I felt pain. I was very angry before but suddenly disappeared. I know Jean is hurt by what happened today so she is crying now. She is a weak woman so she should be protected.
But what is it? My emotion won again. I hugged her.
So weak, Ayra.
I faced her and held her hand. "Shhh..." I faced Falcon. "Happy?"
"Be, sorr—"
Nicol's attempt to speak was interrupted by the sudden appearance of a guard.
"Ma'am Ayra Crian Falcon and Ma'am Nicol Cuevas, someone is looking for you. The name is Jeedler."
Suddenly, someone appeared at the door.
My eyes almost widened when I saw Jeedler, who was now in my line of sight.
Did they all have to show up at the same time? A simultaneous burst of pain? Really? A crying session?
"Long time no see, Ayra," he greeted.
I couldn't tell if he was mocking or being sarcastic.
Almost all of us were taken aback. Outside, there were students who were gossiping and screaming at the sight of Jeedler, whom they claimed to have just seen.
I smiled. "You look good," I said coldly.
He's changed so much. He's become more handsome, even his body has improved, but I don't want him here right now.
Kim's POV
Wow, a Jeedler who dared to come in here. Another show-off! I don't like his attitude! He's irritating!
Jeedler looked at his sister Nicol. He was surprised to see her appearance. "Oww! Little sister, did Hell slap you?"
Bryxwell's POV
Wow, a Jeedler who had the audacity to come in here. Another arrogant one! I don't like his way of speaking! He's annoying!
Jeedler looked at his sister Nicol. He was surprised by her appearance. "Oww! Little sister, did Hell slap you?"
Why does he know so much about Ayra? Unfair! Is he trying to rub it in my face?
Instead of helping his sister, he chose to tease her. Are they really siblings?
I guess I still need to explain to Ayra. "Ayra, I've been trying to avoid Nicol, but she's persistent. Kim and I have been trying to find a solution, but so far, nothing. And about what you witnessed earlier, Nicol was the only one who kissed me, we were just talking. Believe me, okay." I deliberately said that, making sure Jeedler knows I won't deceive Ayra anymore.
She faced me as if nothing happened. "Annulment paper?"
I suddenly paused. I didn't like what came out of her mouth. "No, I won't sign it."
I really don't want to.
"Ayra, how's your marriage going?" Jeedler chimed in, interrupting. He kept on butting in.
"It's fine," she replied sarcastically. "Except that your sibling is causing trouble."
"Good to hear that."
What's good about it? Is he trying to insult her?
"Good to hear that, if you're going to call me 'Hell' because Ayra isn't my name," she retorted, showing that she could give it back to him.
Well, he deserved it.
"Well, Cancer?"
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm checking up on the girl who left me."
"You're overacting."
"Seems like it." Jeedler nodded. "Looks like you might actually kill someone today."
"It's been a while."
"Don't you even want to ask me how I'm doing?"
"What else is there to ask if you're already okay—"
"Babe, where are you? I've been looking for you," a woman said as she held onto Jeedler's arm. "You're talking to her? Why is she so cheap?"
That annoyed me because she doesn't even know Ayra. She's quick to insult.
My wife's face darkened. She firmly held onto the woman's arm. "I don't like it when people cut me off, Ms. Nonsense."
"Ouch! What the heck?!" the woman exclaimed in irritation as she tried to free herself from Ayra's grip, but Ayra's hold was strong.
We were surprised when Jeedler suddenly pulled Ayra away. She ended up beside me, and I managed to catch her.
"I don't like it when people hurt the important people in my life," Jeedler said.
We were surprised to see Ayra burst into laughter, still holding her stomach.
"BWHAHAHAHAHA! Important? So, girl, your boyfriend doesn't love you. He's not like that, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She stopped laughing and looked at the woman again. "You're ugly, you look so irritating. Pwe!"
She's jealous. I know her.
"Shut up!" the woman snapped at her.
Ayra walked up to the woman. "Hi, my name is Ayra Crian Lopez Falcon, and he is my husband, Bryxwell Falcon."
Ayra's voice was laced with sarcasm and determination in her words.
I could see the darkness in Jeedler's expression as he looked at me. I raised an eyebrow in response. He quickly looked away.
"Ayra..." We were taken aback by Jeedler's sudden change in behavior towards Ayra, almost pleading. "Come back to me."
Jeedler seemed like he wanted to touch Ayra, but she walked away.
"I will never come back to you," she laughed, looking at the woman. I felt like she was amused by what Jeedler was saying.
"I'm still in love with you until now. Come back to me, I can't live without you."
"Aren't you ashamed of your girlfriend? Do you want my wife back? I won't allow it," I said coldly, grabbing everyone's attention.
I won't give my wife back to him.
"I don't love you, Jeedler. Even though my husband has made many mistakes, I can forgive him, not now but soon," Ayra said, making me smile slightly.
Ayra's POV
I don't love him. Why would he have to go back for me?
