It has been 7000 years since Bai Jue woke up from his romance turbulent in the mortal realm and left the nine-heaven realm for the spirit realm.
Chang Ge and Qing Mu got married 3500 years after Bai Jue left, They tried to invite the true god to their wedding but Bai Jue refused to come attend the wedding. Even though Bai Jue didn't come to their wedding, he sent them a wedding gift.
As for Shang Gu and Yuan Feng, after the two of them came to understand their past and their current feelings, there was not a day that they spent apart. Yuan Feng has a room decorated just for her in his palace and Shang Gu made room in her studies for him. The two didn't receive an auspicious date for their wedding just yet, so the two of them live together as they wait for the date.
Er'Xi and Tian Qi are the two busiest in the nine-heaven realm, the two of them have to work while they look after their son. It was a good thing that the two of them had a spirit bond to also help with their workload.
One day as Shang Gu was sitting in her study like any other day; working on her paperwork for Spring and Yuan Feng stepped out of her palace to deal with something in the mortal realm due to the demon with Qing Mu and Tian Qi, the nine-heaven shook.
Shang Gu worried that it could be the work of the demons so she rushed to where the shake was the strongest, she didn't expect that the shake was coming from the Earth and Heaven platform. There was a strong and cold wind with a blinding bright light, so bright that the gods and goddesses had to close their eyes.
When they opened their eyes, they saw a young woman standing there on heaven's platform. The young woman had the same white hair and blue eyes as the other three-season goddesses, but the young woman said nothing at all while she stared at them and they stared at her in return.
Just then the two true gods appeared between the young girl and the other gods and goddesses, it was then that the young woman smiled at them and bowed in greeting to the true gods.
"Hou Chi, greet the true gods and the season goddess as well as all the gods and goddesses." Hou Chi said to the crowd with a cold voice and a little smile on her face. They all started to whisper amongst themselves; there was yet a god or goddess who came into being on a platform that knew who they were unless they were on the ascending platform.
"You know who you are?" Shang Gu asked the young woman from behind Yuan Feng
"I've been waiting to meet you all, I was here in the heavenly realm watching you all." Hou Chi said
"I've been waiting to ascend to the nine-heaven realm because Father told me that I will be the winter goddess." Hou Chi said to them
"Father?" Tian Qi asked her and Hou Chi nodded
"The Forefather, well the remaining of his spiritual powers that have yet to pass on to the....greater realm." Hou Chi said to them and the True gods dismiss all the other minor gods as they bring the season goddesses to the true god palace.
"What do you mean the remaining of the forefather's spiritual powers?" Qing Mu asked her as they all settled down in his lounge room and Hou Chi smiled
"Well, you see I meant exactly as I said." Hou Chi said to them as she sat down on the chair in the true god's lounge
"The remaining spiritual power of my father taught me all about the nine-heaven and my powers. Even though he didn't stay with me long, after his spiritual powers ran out I was left alone. He said that I would have to ascend to the Earth and Heaven platform alone." Hou Chi said to them and the four of them nodded
"So you are the winter goddess?" Tian Qi asked and Hou Chi nodded
"But where is the true god, Bai Jue" Hou Chi asked
"Bai Jue is traveling the spirit realm." Qing Mu said to her and Hou Chi nodded
The three couples looked at each other and back at the new goddess
"Since this would mean that the four season goddesses have finally come together, we should hold a celebration!" Er'Xi said
"Dear, is this necessary?" Tian Qi asked her and she looked at him
"Of course! Why would it not be?!" Er'Xi asked him and he sighs
"Whatever you say, my goddess." Tian Qi said to her and she smile
"I know you're busy but, worried not. Let's leave this to the hands of the spirit bonds of the Four-Season Palace!" Er'Xi said Shang Gu and Chang Ge agreed with her.
"Then I'll head back to the spring palace." Shang Gu said and Yuan Feng held onto her hand
"I will have to return to the mortal realm with, Qing Mu and Tian Qi. Let me walk you back to the Spring Palace." Yuan Feng said to her and she looked at his tired eyes
"How is that coming along?" Shang Gu asked him and he smiled at her
"The new demon lord wants to wage a war but that's something that the three of us can handle for now." Yuan Feng said to her and caressed her cheeks
"Let's walk you goddesses back to the spring palace so that we can head down to the mortal realm." Qing Mu said as he took hold of Chang Ge's hand and they all left the true god's palace
Once they arrived in front of the Four Season Palace, the three true gods were called away by a general of the Nine-heaven realm.
"Uphold the shield of the nine heaven realm while we are away." Yuan Feng said to Shang Gu, who has been in the nine-heaven realm the longest and thus one of the strongest to take hold of the nine-heaven realm shield.
"I'll uphold it with my life, do not worry." Shang Gu said to him and he hugged her
"That is why I worried, Don't do anything stupid while I'm away. If anything at all, wait for me to come back." Yuan Feng said to her and she nodded
The demons and the gods had lived in peace for a long time but after the death of the demon lord, the new demon lord wanted nothing more than to wage a war and the mortal realm is in danger due to them being the weakest. Yet it's the perfect place for the demon since the demons feed off of the mortal's energy, pain, anger, and hatred.
The demons have also begun to turn the mortals into lower demons as well, using the mortals as an experiment to gain manpower for the upcoming war. The three true gods went down to the mortal realm to protect the mortals and to negotiate with the demons before an actual war broke out since it would be a big loss to the demons, the gods, and the mortals; who had nothing to do with the war of the nine-heaven and the demons.
"I won't do anything like that, you be on guard and return to me soon. I'm still waiting on that wedding." Shang Gu said to him and he smiled, the two said nothing more to each other
"You take good care of yourself and A'Qi while I'm away." Tian Qi said to her and Er'Xi smile
"You come back soon or you'll miss him using magic for the first time." Er'Xi said to him and he nodded as he kissed his wife farewell
"You better behave yourself and help Shang Gu with the shield you hear me?" Qing Mu asked her and Chang Ge rolled her eyes
"Honey, you are treating me like a child again." Chang Ge reminded him and he smiled at her
"Then you should have one so that I won't have to treat you like one." Qing Mu whispered to her and Chang Ge turned red, she pushed him gently and Qing Mu chuckled
"You've become much too mischievous." Chang Ge said to him and he hugged her tightly
"We've never been apart from each other for so long since we got married." Qing Mu said to her and she patted his back with a smile on her face
"Oh, you big baby. Be on your way." Chang Ge said to him
The three true gods left for the mortal realm, while the goddesses planned a welcome party for Hou Chi but in the end, the three of them were not able to come back to the nine-heaven realm to celebrate with their lovers and the other gods and goddesses.
The negotiations with the demons lasted a year in the nine-heaven realm, it has been over 1,000 years in the mortal realm.
