"Frigidus, Frigidus, Frigidus."
The first set of words uttered from the boy, a wave of relief to the Demon, amazed at how the child reacted so quickly. The hellfire itself wasn't something that is directly hitting him, as Zazel would see what seemed to be a split from its top. The flames itself splitting itself in two, parting it like it was the Red Sea. The flames lick at the walls and earth, consuming the zombified husks and absorbing them into its flames. The reason? Why, its nothing short but the card possessed in his hand.
It was a Sigil. A Six-starred hexagram that is being reflected onto the ground for its ritual. A monster was about to be spawned before Zazel's very eyes. He has seen such a summon before from a distance, witnessing the large size that it gained when fighting alongside with him. Now? Now he is witnessing the summoning up close, watching the flames slowly cool itself.
"Frigidus ut anima tua..."
"Frigidus ut Cutis..."
"Frigidus ut cor quod molliter palpitat..."
The hellfire which once resonated became slowly converted into pure cool air, breezing across the cave, freezing the landscape over. Its frigid touch caressing the mass, forcing it to retreat itself away, and Zazel meanwhile staring in awe. The smoke that was once a demon's burning sensation,
Now a child's blizzard as it spreads further, the green light serving as a beacon towards everything else.
"Sile inimicos tuos.."
"Fac pacem cum sociis tuis.."
"Sciat mundus tuam vitam..."
"...Gelidam renascentem!"
"ARAWAREU!"
From his declaration, the cold winds blow harsher. The very meat that acts as skin for the mass would be freezing over, while Zazel would be forced to move out of the way from such temperatures blasting down towards the creature. The winds picks up in a fierce manner, scattering and silencing the rest of the undead that roamed nearby. Such winds take shape, extending jagged edges to one another in the form of cool blue icicles, whilst holding a face in its center. Such a shape is born to be the reason why the temperatures drop at an all time low, watching the mangled flesh being frozen over and losing pieces of itself while the winds pick up.
"Qui infernum congelat.."
"Qui damnautos pausat.."
"Bestia ante te.."
"HAIHAH!"
The beast's name was finally called, an echo of sounds akin to a wind chime being made as it danced along the cavern, a beast which creaked like nails as Harvard pointed towards the beast's direction without a second thought, shooting cold winds directly into the mass of flesh as a response, freezing over their mass within mere seconds. A Single contact from such cold infusions by Haihah was enough to shatter his enemies like glass, rendering them as white as snow, thus its alternative name: "The White Death." The shambling mass was desperate in trying to fight back, trying to utilize the corpses as a means to protect itself, but it quickly served no use. Such a death was given to the zombified mass within an instant, as it became nothing more than a mere glacial statue, the cold winds blowing into the cave and outwards to the sky, chilling the temperatures drastically. Zazel would have to cast Asmodeus once more to properly heat himself up, shivering somewhat due to the near absolute zero measurements, watching the walls quickly being consumed under the ice and snow, the laughter of the child evident as he secured the candle from the decrepit hands of a mound of corpses. The beast has finally fallen, not just because it was engrossed in ice, as it quickly tries to break out, shown through newly made cracks begin to form and shoot out any remaining warm appendages to try and elongate themselves, desperately throwing an attack at the monster.
Rather, it was because the wick in the candle gave out.
The cold temperatures was too much to bear for the artifact, and as a result, it put out the light, leaving the three of them in encroaching darkness, the moans and groans of the mound slowly going quiet, slowly being at peace, with the rest of the bodies finally slouching over the frozen cavern, finally resting at long last. The limbs which were once animated and extended their reach to attack Haihah were now nothing more than pieces of the frozen statue. A piece recognized by public eyes, should it be discovered. As Harvard retrieved the Candelabrum, the caves begin to shake. Due to the sustained damages in-between the fight, thanks to the mass of flesh's temper tantrum, it would start a cave-in, quickly having the two children escort themselves to escape the cave, not wishing to be buried alive in it.
Finally...The dead can rest once more.
The Children, after escaping the cave once it collapses in on itself, would look to one another and yell, cheer, laugh, and be excited at what they have accomplished. It was, after all, their first time working together, but the two can immediately tell they did their best when it came to finding a solution against the writhing undead, with Zazel somewhat shocked that they managed to escape out of the situation alive. They even did a small dance as they make their way down, using Haihah to conjure the cold winds once more, blowing down at the mountains to create the likes of snow, while using Haihah as a snowboard to slide down all the way to the bottom, with the children being happy and skating down back to their next location. The demonic child, despite being his first experience, can immediately tell from the Card Magician's expressions and jovialness that this was a usual thing for him. A Thrill that he wants to explore again and again.
He can't hate on someone who just wanted to have fun overall. He simply screamed and hollered in joy as the two raced one another down across the icy terrain, with people taking notice of the newly chilled cave, quickly telling amongst one another of a new story. The two laughed at one another when they heard it, even playing along once they made their way back to Oaking, teasing at the civilians of a monster eternally sleeping under all the snow.
For their first Mission...It was a blast.
