"Flagello di Colori del Arcobaleno, Speranza di vittoria!" (Scourge of Colors of the Rainbow, Victorious hope.)
Dulio formed wings that resembled chaotic weather. They embodied the destructive storms of Zenith Tempest that gives divine judgement on the enemies.
Gales of wind, brutal hails of ice, raging fires, torrential tsunamis of water, and a barrage of lightning appeared inside of the barrier.
Vidar and Baldr even had to protect themselves due to the storm that is akin to divine punishment.
"I can't hold this for long!" Dulio controlled his sacred gear and countless bubbles appeared that contained apocalyptic storms. Barely containing the raging elements inside.
With a roar, Dulio covered the spatial distortion that trapped Thor and Mordred inside the pocket dimension where they were supposed to battle.
"Such destructive power, I'm glad that they're eternal allies of Asgard." Baldr frowned heavily, imagining Dulio's balance breaker wreaking havoc on Asgard. It would be like Ragnarok.
The bubbles trapped the runes that locked the pocket dimension and they were torn to shreds by the storms that is said to be able to end the world.
Dulio managed to tear open a hole through and he quickly entered.
"Mordred! I'll assist you, but I can't handle my balance breaker for long!" Dulio announced and Mordred smiled.
"So you can control it a bit now huh?" Mordred sunk into the shadows and went as far away as possible.
Dulio made a circle with his fingers and blew on them. Thousands of bubbles then appeared and they rained on Fenrir who tried to dodge them.
There were too many though, and the wolf was assaulted by an onslaught of Zenith Tempest's storms.
The bubbles popped when they arrived towards Fenrir and the barely contained divine storms exploded outwards violently
Fenrir suddenly found himself in the middle of a barrage of magic. His magic resistant fur burned, froze, electrocuted, cut, and was hit by pressurized water all at once.
It howled in pain from the terrible magic that seemed to have no end.
"Mordred!" Dulio shouted as his balance breaker ended, completely spent by trying to control the storms of Zenith Tempest.
"Aye, thanks for the help." Mordred stiched Fenrir's shadow by manipulating them and the wounded wolf was stunned for a quick second, but that window is enough.
The little knight gave deep cuts on all of Fenrir's tendons on his limbs. Making the wolf give, it couldn't support its massive weight and size after being maimed with surgical precision.
"Yield, wolf." Mordred pointed Caliburn at Fenrir and it still growled at him.
Odin also took care of Loki and the trickster god was bleeding on the floor. Receiving dozens of holes and numerous cuts on his body.
Skoll and Hati also got gassed by the heavenly dragons and nekoshous. When they saw their father lie on the ground in defeat, the two lost their will to fight.
"Fuuu~ thanks for the timely support Dulio. Thor and I were in the middle of fighting. And it tired us a bit." Mordred patted the exhausted Dulio on the back.
"Ow, stop slapping me. You know that I'm not the physical type. And I'm really exhausted right now." Dulio complained, but he had a smile on his face.
'I'm glad that all the practice I had in the land of shadows was useful.' Dulio was pleased. He could only practice the limits of his sacred gear in a desolated area like Scathach's realm.
The Valkyries then managed to bring an imitation of Gleipnir. The dwarves can't make one with such a time crunch after all.
Odin appeared and he had some chains on hand. "Vidar, Baldr, help Thor and get him healed, the brat would be glad that he received some scars from Fenrir and lived to tell the tale." Odin laughed and he bound Fenrir with the chains.
"Won't Fenrir get out of those? Even I can tell that they're not strong enough to bind him." Ise tilted her head and Odin shrugged.
"It's heavily wounded, he will regenerate. But this is enough for now, Asgard would ask Nidavellir to make another pair later. They'll have the proper time to make one while this guy heals." Odin pointed at Fenrir who was incapacitated for now.
"What about Loki?" Mordred gave the trickster god a look.
"We'll have to investigate, we don't know who helped him. But Loki doesn't have the right resources and power to free Fenrir from Gleipnir." Odin frowned heavily.
Mordred and his gang then looked around, Asgard didn't have too much damage due to their efforts, but it still received quite a bit of beating.
"Teacher, we'll get out of Asgard for now. You can't have us here while you get everything in order." Mordred said their farewell for now.
Odin smiled wryly and he was a bit embarrassed that they got roped in at their internal affairs. "Ohh, how about I give you a gift?"
Mordred tilted his head and wondered. 'Is he giving me his super duper limited edition collection?'
"I'll give these two to you, they might not be as strong as Fenrir. But they're his progeny, in time; these guys will be god devouring wolves as well." Odin presented them Skoll and Hati.
"Ooh! Ooh! We're having dogs!? Please accept them Mordred! Pleaseee!" Ise always wanted to have some dogs.
"Geh, dogs... They smell and will take a crap everywhere." Kuroka said in disdain.
Shirone agreed wholeheartedly, they were their nemesis as nekoshous.
"Wait, won't these two just rebel against us and try to kill us when we aren't looking?" Mordred raised a brow and Odin chuckled.
"That would be the case, if you beat them normally. But the two of them saw Fenrir get defeated by you and Dulio. They aren't as smart as Fenrir, so they will follow the strong. Besides, Loki won't be getting out of Asgard soon to give them orders." Odin explained and Mordred thought about it for a bit.
He then looked at the others who didn't express their opinion.
"Wouldn't it be fine? Fenrir is a bit too dangerous to take care of, for now." Vali looked at the god devouring wolf and it would definitely be a good familiar for Mordred, she thought.
"You do what you want Mo-kun, I'll support you all the way." Lavinia smiled at him.
"Isn't having Skoll and Hati as our attack dogs so cool?" Meredith was excited and Ise high fived with her.
"Your call, boss." Masaomi and Cleria shrugged. "Okay, we'll receive them. You two better be good boys." Mordred gave Skoll and Hati a look.
They barked and showed their bellies, surprising Mordred and the others. That was a genuine sign of their surrender.
Dragons would actually rather die than show their belly while lying down like that to their enemies. So they knew that it was genuine, proud and strong beings like them would never surrender to someone who is just slightly impressive. And it was thanks to them defeating Fenrir.
"Then, they're all yours. Thanks my boy, your group really helped us out here. Vidar and Baldr would be able to stall Fenrir with their brother, but many residents of Asgard would die while trying to prevent Jormungandr's clones and Fenrir's sons from rampaging." Odin smiled.
"Okay teacher, we could always continue our lessons later. I will be looking forward to it." Ash gave a small bow and they left Asgard with Skoll and Hati.
Before they returned home though, everybody went to the land of shadows so they could tell Scathach what they did. And of course to show off their new pets.
"Yo, master. We've come, bearing stories." Mordred showed Skoll and Hati.
"Wolves? And they're pretty strong too. They're pretty young still as well. Wait, those wolves look like Fenrir, are they his children?" Scathach actually couldn't hide her surprise.
She's heard stories about the god devouring wolf from the Nords. "Did you fight Fenrir?" Scathach smiled at them in pride.
"Yeah, defeated him too with the help of Dulio and Thor. Well, Thor and I were battling first, so we weren't at full strength before Loki appeared suddenly in Asgard." Mordred shrugged.
"Hmmm, an excellent feat still." Scathach ruffled his hair and Mordred nodded with a smile.
"I would prefer a hug though." Mordred used his teacher's wisdom that he imparted to him while studying in Asgard. And that was to use the legendary puppy dog eyes.
'Yes, Mordred can definitely do it. I believe in you, the future god of harems.' Ise clenched her fists and was watching the situation closely.
"Hmph, I guess your bravery does warrant a little reward from your master. It is a feat that none of my students can achieve while only studying under me for a short time." Scathach was in a good mood and she gave Mordred a little hug.
He then rubbed his face on her chest and he could smell a whiff of iron under Scathach's sweet scent.
'Mo-kun sure is brave, asking master for a hug. I'd bet that she'd stab anyone else who asks for one.' Lavinia thought that she really liked him.
"Okay, that's enough. You weren't able to best Fenrir on your own. That means you need more training." Scathach huffed and Mordred nodded without complaining, pleasing her further.
The others already expected it, so they just accepted their fates.
So they were ran ragged once again, and it will continue until Scathach was satisfied with their skills as a warrior.
'Hmph, even though these brats are just extras that Mordred brought here, I don't half ass anybody's training.' She grinned and made them start their brutal regimen.
Right after, they teleported back to the familiar forest and Valerie greeted them alongside Tiamat.
"Back so soon? I thought you'd stay in Asgard for a few months at least." Tiamat tilted her head, thinking that they might have caused some trouble.
But they saw the large wolves that were behind them. "Are they... Skoll and Hati?" Tiamat went wide eyed.
"Yeah, mom. Meet Skoll and Hati. And you two listen to her, or we'll turn you into stew." Mordred warned them and the two barked.
"Wowww! I can't wait to tell Gasper that we have large dogs!" Valerie ran up to the brothers and hugged them, ruffling their fur.
"You fought Fenrir and Loki, didn't you?" Tiamat squinted her eyes. She will be having words against Odin later.
"Un, he suddenly attacked Asgard and proclaimed himself as Asgard's new leader. So teacher beat the crap out of him while Thor and I fought Fenrir to buy time so the Valkyries can contact the dwarves in Nidavellir." Mordred explained and Tiamat sighed.
'I guess I can't stop them from getting into trouble, at least they're fine.' Tiamat sighed and she hugged Mordred with worry.
"Next time though, call mom immediately if you encounter a huge problem okay? It's my duty to protect you as my son." Tiamat patted his hair softly.
"Umu, we will, I promise." Mordred hugged her tightly and he could feel her anxiety.
"So? What did you learn in Asgard? Come on and tell us." Valerie was excited to know their adventures in Asgard.
And while they trained in the morning till sundown at the land of shadows. They recuperated while doing contracts.
Building capital for the future. 'Umu, my kin are saving a lot of money so I can tax them a lot later.' He waited for someone to call him while studying primordial runes.
"Ohh? This one is pretty promising, a bit weak though." Mordred felt someone call for him and he appeared in a pretty stylish room.
"Um, hello. It says here in this magic circle that you can fulfill my wish?" A blonde girl showed him the contracts they were passing around.
"That's correct, how can I help you?" Mordred couldn't help but notice that she looked a bit like him. Though, she has deep, blue eyes.
"I'm Le Fay Pendragon, can you teach me magic so I can help my brother as the next heir of the Pendragon family? I want to start early." She had a determined expression and Morded blinked.
"Did you say Le Fay Pendragon?" Mordred thought his ears were playing tricks on him.
"Ummm, yes?" Le Fay got a bit anxious. Thinking that he has a vendetta against the Pendragon family or something.
"Hmmm, tell me more." Mordred looked at her with interest.
