The presence of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory McCarthy was enthusiastically greeted by their son and daughter-in-law. Serena realizes Ryan purposefully dragged herself home from Aprile's apartment because he didn't want to face his own parents with the question of why his wife wasn't in the penthouse.
"So this is why I'm back here?" she inquired, daring her husband to speak the truth.
"Yes, you know how my mother nags, don't you? Her golden voice rang in my ears for three days and three nights, especially when she knew you had rushed away because of a bothersome situation."
Ryan half-whispered about halfway through dinner. He doesn't want to try anything new, and Serena has returned to his side after the troublesome days.
Serena grinned as well, knowing that her husband is learning to be a better man as a result of their bedtime romance. Spend the day shopping for exquisite jewelry and outfits. Ryan took great delight in fulfilling all of his wife's wishes.
