I am Yorwain Zarver. Slayer of the Almighty "Skőll" and made it as my organisation symbol. I am also a loyal subject of the late king Oliver Garehis.
Right now, I am looking at a little boy who is looking back at me with a blank expression.
Garwyr Horrowein. A five year old boy. The fifth son of Duke Siamere Horrowein, who is my closest friend. He entrusted him to me because out of all the children that he has, Garwyr is the strangest one.
He often stares blankly at the sky, looking bored at the lessons given for nobles, and always lies on the ground outside the mansion.
I also heard that he never cried nor laughed.
It may look like Siamere is abandoning him, but that is not the case. He told me that he wanted Garwyr to find his own purpose in life. He is busy with managing his territory, raising his eldest son to become the next, and even going to social gatherings to gain connections. That is why he will not have enough time to take care of him.
While I accepted the request to take care of him, I don't know how to teach nor raise a child. After all, I don't have any children or a wife. All I could do is to train him like a member of "Skőll". Siamere is fine with that, so I am now planning to train him.
Even though he is still a child, I will show no mercy since my training plan is very precise and strict to the point that some members took a break because of exhaustion.
"I am Yorwain, your master. From now on, I'm going to train you, do you understand, boy?"
He tilted his head and then nodded.
With that, the training has begun.
It's been a month since that time, and frankly, I'm surprised.
He is able to keep up with my training. Not only is he also able to understand all the things that I teach him, but he is also capable of performing them.
Interesting. Very interesting.
I grin as I look forward to how to train him. Will he be able to keep up, or will he give up.
Oh, oops. Looks like my bad habit of going overboard when I find something interesting is showing up, but I can't help it, can I?
That settles it. He will become my disciple.
And with that, I trained him with all I have.
