Summary Of: Ships that Actually sail...
Raven and Grace's friendship began in 4th grade, but a trivial misunderstanding caused them to drift apart. They were separated into different classes in 5th and 6th grade, but during 7th grade, they found themselves in the same virtual class due to COVID-19.
They bond over shared experiences and eventually mend their past conflict. Their close friendship becomes the subject of light-hearted teasing within their friend group. Raven and Grace considered starting a YouTube channel, and Raven playfully teased Grace about her love for K-dramas.
Grace finally decided to take the plunge and create content related to K-dramas. Raven playfully challenged her to turn her words into action, and Grace was determined to make it happen. As they playfully bantered, their math teacher entered the classroom, ending their conversation.

As the teacher walked into the classroom during their free period, annoyance was evident on Raven's face. She glanced over at Grace, who shared her sentiment, nodding in agreement.
"Look, she's back. Can't even let us live peacefully during our free period," Raven whispered, expressing her frustration.
Grace whispered back, "Yeah, and it wouldn't be so bad if she could actually teach. But this teacher, she's just... not effective at all."
Raven stifled a laugh, trying not to be too loud. "You're right, Grace. It's frustrating when we have free time, and she chooses to occupy the classroom with her presence."
Grace rolled her eyes, clearly irritated by the situation. "I wish she could utilize this time to teach something useful or engage us in a meaningful discussion. But no, it's just a waste of time."
The math teacher, seemingly oblivious to the students' feelings, spoke enthusiastically, "Since it's a free period, why don't we delve into the Pythagorean Theorem? It's an interesting concept in mathematics."
Saying that, she occupied the entire class, leaving the students to reluctantly listen to her lecture.
As the school day came to an end, Raven bid farewell to Grace, executing their complex handshake, a unique expression of their close friendship.
"Look at that handshake! It's so sexy," Sabrina teased, her mischievous tone livening up the atmosphere.
As Sabrina playfully commented on Raven and Grace's complex handshake, the rest of the group turned their attention towards her, taken aback by her unexpected remark.
Amanda, raising an eyebrow in surprise, questioned, "Sabrina, did you just call a handshake sexy?"
Sabrina chuckled mischievously, clearly enjoying the reactions of her friends. "Oh, come on, guys. You can't deny that there's something captivating about a well-executed handshake. It's all about the confidence and connection it represents. And it suits Raven's personality so well."
Damian, grinning at the playful banter, added humor to the situation, saying, "I never thought I'd hear someone describe a handshake as sexy, and look at you calling Raven's handshake sexy."
Damian then called out to Raven, prompting her to come over for a moment.
Raven turned to Grace, bidding her farewell with a smile. "Bye, Grace. I'll see you tomorrow."
Grace returned the smile, understanding that Damian wanted to say something to Raven privately.
As Raven approached the group, Amanda noticed the interaction and couldn't resist playfully teasing her friend. "Looks like we have something going on here!" she said with a teasing tone.
"Sabrina just called your handshake sexy, Raven," Damian teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
Raven's confusion deepened, not comprehending the significance of Sabrina's comment. "What?" she asked, puzzled by the unexpected remark.
Parker stepped forward, offering an explanation to Raven. "You know Sabrina, she's just being playful and teasing. It's all in good fun," he reassured her.
"Why are we making such small scenes so big? Let's not overanalyze everything. It's just a harmless comment," Raven said, trying to downplay the situation.
With the school day coming to an end, the group of friends decided to head back home, each taking their own path.
The next day, Mae and Sabrina sat together on the same bench, discussing the upcoming unit test with only one week left for preparation.
"Sabrina, can you believe we only have one week left until the unit test?" Mae exclaimed, feeling the pressure of time.
"Oh, wow. Time sure flies. Have you started studying?" Sabrina asked, curious about Mae's preparation.
"Um, not really. I'm currently hooked on a K-drama. It's just so addictive!" Mae admitted sheepishly.
Sabrina chuckled, sympathizing with Mae's distraction. "I can't blame you. I'm actually binge-watching 'The Vampire Diaries' right now. It's so captivating," she admitted with a grin, clearly understanding the allure of indulging in a thrilling TV series.
As the two friends continued discussing their K-dramas and TV shows, their attention shifted to Kyle, who happened to join the conversation.
"Kyle, have you started studying for the test?" Sabrina asked, raising an eyebrow playfully.
"Nah, dude. Haven't even touched my books yet," Kyle replied casually, not showing any signs of concern.
Mae and Sabrina exchanged amused glances, realizing that they were not alone in their procrastination. It seemed like everyone was feeling the pressure of the upcoming unit test.
"Seems like we're all in the same boat," Mae said with a chuckle, acknowledging the shared sense of last-minute preparations among the group.
Raven and Grace sat together, as they often did during their classes.
"Grace, I'm going to fail in math. I just can't seem to understand what that teacher is teaching," Raven said, her concern evident in her voice.
Grace responded nonchalantly, "Well, I haven't even started studying, so I guess we're in the same boat."
Raven let out a sigh, feeling defeated by the challenging subject.
"But Grace, I genuinely believe our math teacher doesn't even know what she's doing. It's frustrating," Raven exclaimed, expressing her frustration.
Grace nodded in agreement, understanding Raven's frustration all too well.
"I get it, Raven. You're smarter than you give yourself credit for," Grace said sympathetically.
Raven pondered for a moment, considering Grace's words. "Hmm, maybe you're right."
Taking a playful turn, Raven teasingly asked, "So, Grace, did you finally start your so-called YouTube channel?"
Grace's response was slightly sheepish, "Um, not yet."
Raven jokingly replied, "I give up trying to convince you. You're missing out on a great opportunity to earn some extra money and showcase your talents."
Grace chuckled, well aware of Raven's persistent efforts to encourage her. "I know, I know. You've tried your best to convince me. I'll get around to it eventually. But you're not off the hook either, miss 'I'm going to fail math.'"

Raven, the playful soul of the group, couldn't resist teasing Parker for his gentle and innocent demeanor. "Parker, you really need to learn how to give some decent comebacks. Even a second-grader can bully you!" she jested, earning a laugh from Sabrina, who chimed in with agreement. "No cap, Parker. Raven's got a point there," Sabrina added, enjoying the lighthearted banter.
Parker looked at Raven with a hopeful expression, seeking her support. "Come on, Raven, you'll defend me, won't you?" he pleaded, hoping she'd back him up.
Sabrina playfully added a twist to the conversation, reminding them of the possibility of getting shuffled into different class arrangements next year. "But what will you do if we get shuffled next year? You'll have to fend for yourself then," she teased, keeping the mood light.
Amidst the laughter and friendly teasing, Parker took a moment to reflect on the uncertainty of the future. "Well, let's see what happens next year. But for now, I'm glad Raven's still here to watch my back," he replied resolutely.
Raven's tone softened as she spoke sincerely. "On a serious note, Parker, it wouldn't hurt to work on your comebacks a little. It's all in good fun, but sometimes you need to hold your ground," she advised, genuinely wanting to see him grow and gain more confidence.
Parker nodded, taking her advice to heart. "Okay, I'll take your advice to heart. I'll try to improve my comebacks, Raven," he said with determination.
Raven smiled, appreciating Parker's willingness to learn and grow. "That's the spirit, Parker. Remember, it's all about finding the right balance. You'll get the hang of it," she encouraged, strengthening their bond as friends through their playful exchange.
