Aurora Crimson. Her ability was simple. Causing harm, anything she touched met destruction, and those struck by her assaults endured intense agony.
Thanatos felt how powerful this ability was now with his own flesh and blood. The pain felt as if he had been struck by several lightning bolts.
Thanatos forgot how severe the sparring with Aurora was. She didn't mind if Thanatos punched and kicked her in this fight. The fight was a great passion for her.
Thanatos let the green-black energy become liquid, and the liquid floated around him in huge bubbles.
Aurora lurched a gigantic orange beam at Thanatos. Aurora could already literally taste victory.
But a few moments for the triumph. The beam shot back at her. Thanatos used the liquid energy and flushed the attack back to Aurora.
Aurora felt in every cell of her body how powerful and cruel her ability was. Along with the hammer blow from earlier. She fell forward. Thanatos waited and watched what would happen now.
He saw Aurora regain her composure. She rushed at Thanatos and tried hand-to-hand combat.
She swung her huge land sword and let it fly at Thanatos. The blades clashed, creating a shockwave that spread throughout the cage and its spectators.
One of the guards was about to intervene when Thanatos struck Aurora's wrist with the edge of his hand. The mighty longsword fell to the ground with a steely sound.
"The winner is Thanatos Gravestone!" The supervisor loudly announced the winner.
Luna, Rena, and the others Applauding Thanatos, Aurora walked up to him with a proud chest and extended her hand.
"That was a great fight, Than." Aurora was not mad; she really appreciated the fight, even if she knew that Thanatos held himself back. It may have been a brief pleasure. However, it was still great.
Aurora and Thanatos left the battlefield and went back to Haruka and the others.
"Hey, do you guys feel like checking out the boarding school apartments?"
Since this school was very far away from any cities or clans, there were boarding apartments for the students and professors at the school.
"Well, it's been a long time since I've seen them."
Haruka was interested too. She never lived in a boarding house. In her imagination, the rooms were bright and spacious.
All went towards the boarding apartments. They were sperated into male and female. It was not forbidden for a boy to be at the girls apartments during the day. But after 10 p.m., everybody had to be in their rooms. They first walked to the girls apartments. The woman asked Ted to take a look at their previous apartments.
They looked around and found them. They didn't walk in. But looked at the doors and then headed to the professor's apartments. But before that, Thanatos made a stop at his old apartment.
The door was still the same as back then. Appartment 163—he gazed at it and then got reminded of the door next to his. Apartment 164.
'I wonder what you are doing right now. Even if it is difficult, I still want to meet you again someday. Then our group would have been completed again.' Thanatos thought and before he could even realise it, his good old friend called out to him.
"Thanatos what's up." Aurora Crimson. Her ability was simple. Causing harm, anything she touched met destruction, and those struck by her assaults endured intense agony.

"Thanatos, what's up?" Thanatos turned around, and a 176-centimeter-tall young man appeared behind him; his eyes were red like a ruby, and his fingernails were decorated with obsidian-colored lacquer. He wore the robe of a stealthy shinobi.
"Ren, what are you doing here?" Thanatos couldn't believe it; all the people he knew from back then somehow gathered at the same time here in this school.
"You knew, just taking care of some stuff, you are probably here for your 1-year teaching program too. Thanatos never thought about this. Ren was back then in his class, and his best friend felt bad for not noticing this. But the reason why he and all of the people he knew back then were around the same age Aurora was the same age as him, and Camilla too; she was only a few months younger. Luna was one year younger than him but still wanted to get all of this over with. Before her coming-of-age ceremony, Rena was one year older than him and would finish her 1-year teaching program soon, and this man, Ren, was born on the exact same day as Thanatos himself.
"Come on, buddy, let's go somewhere." Ren grabbed Thanatos and forced him to come with him.

Meanwhile, on the woman's side, all of them went to Rena's apartment to eat and drink there. Talking and relaxing were all they wanted to do now.
"By the way, Thanatos is taking quite a while. Where is he?" Haruka said.
"I am sure that he met Ren; he is also here; you need to know." Rena answered.
"Really, I haven't seen him at all.
But if he really met Ren, he probably wouldn't show up here today." Aurora remembered how the two of them often hung out all day and did something.
Morgana dropped her glass in shock and then asked, "With Ren? You don't mean Renmaru, do you?"
The hostility in her voice was clearly audible. She did not hide that she had something against this man.
Luna, who is usually silent all the time, showed how annoyed she was by this question. Her mood sank to rock bottom.
"What do you mean with that, and yes, we mean Renmaru, or how do we know him? Ren, Thanato's best friend."
Luna's gaze appeared to be sharp enough to shoot a hole right through Morana. But Morgana showed how she disliked this situation too and gazed back.
"Stop both of you!" Rena shouted. She was a woman who was always calm and thoughtful and wouldn't shout or scream for no reason. But this whole situation got on her nerves. She wanted both of them to shut up.
"Morgana, if you really went to this school, you should know that they are friends; they were known all over this school. After all, Thanatos was always the one with the highest grades, and Renmaru was in second place."
Morgana shut up when she heard that and remembered that this story was true; they were known as rivals who always fought for first place, and Thanatos was never the true winner. He often lost against Renmaru in many different ways. He got beaten in fights and all.
Thanatos only managed to be in the very last end, one step ahead of him, and so scored as the one on top.
"Morgana I know that Renmaru is Hideo's brother who recently committed a serious crime, and I know that you fought with Hideo. But what can Renmaru do for this, and on top of that, try to get into Thanatos position? He willingly thought against his best friend's brother. But Renmaru has nothing to do with this. As the one responsible for this mission, you should know this."
Rena wanted to bring Morgana back to reality. She understood that many people would now look at Renmaru with hatred. But after some time, she, Luna, Aurora, and Camilla became friends with Renmaru too.
"She is right. Morgana, Renmaru is a good guy. He would never do something like this."
Aurora said she was trying to calm her down.
"And what if he really would do something like this?" Morgana asked. She was annoyed and wanted it to stop. But this question had to be asked.
"In this case, Thanatos would kill Renmaru." Camilla knew Thanatos, and something like this was something he would never tolerate.
