Iris POV:
Pain. It was the only thing I felt when I woke up from my unconsciousness.
My head was hurting because of how they gripped my hair tightly.
I am thirsty. I think my saliva is also dried up.
Am I going to die?
It's not like I didn't try to die before but he saved me that time…
Maybe not this time.
I sat up slowly. I shook my head and rubbed my eyes, clearing my vision.
My dress is wet and dirty.
I closed my eyes and took slow and deep breaths, calming my body.
Isaac put a little camera on the pen holder that's why the guards were furious at me.
It just doesn't cause chaos. A disaster.
Their men were killed, crores of losses occurred and Hudson was going to die from a car accident but he didn't.
They all are thinking I am the one who is the culprit but I will not tell them Isaac's name.

I released a shaky breath. My chest felt tight.
Tears were blurring my vision and flowed down my cheeks helplessly.

I closed my eyes and lay down.

When I opened my eyes, we were in the hallway.

What the fuck are you doing?" Susan said, furiously.
He looked at her, emotionlessly.

"I will not when you are helping a fucking bitch who," Susan was interrupted when Aiden said.
Call her bitch, and see what happens next," Aiden said, gritting his teeth.
Susan looked shocked, hurt, and angry.
He started to walk away leaving Susan devastated.
I never saw Aiden talking to someone like this.
We entered the Ace room and he put me on the bed.
I-I am sorry," I said, agonized.
It's okay, she's hot-tempered and she cares for the guys so much. That's why she's furious," he explained, blithely.
I bit my lip and controlled my tears.
Iris, whatever others say about you I will not believe it," he said, sitting beside me.
I looked at him, perplexed.
Is Ace going to kill me," I asked, weeping.
He sighed and wrapped his around my shoulder in a comforting manner.
Ace never left anyone who tried to harm his things," Aiden said, emotionlessly.
I laughed looking at Aiden.
He looked at me confused and removed his hand from my shoulder.
Iris," he said, frowning.
Will it be painful," I asked, looking at him straight in his eyes.
He looked at me for a few seconds and hugged me tightly.

He kissed my forehead and stood up.
No one will hurt you," He said, candidly.
Go, freshen up. I will be here the whole time if you need any help, call me," he said, kindly.
I went inside the washroom and washed my body neatly.
I stood in front of the mirror with just a towel covering my body.
My neck has fingerprint bruises, a little cut on my lips from all the slapping that I got for the past 1 day.
I sobbed and wiped the tears.
My nose and eyes were red.
Maybe I can meet Mama and Papa when I am dead. I smile at the thought.
I wore my old shirt and my dinosaur leggings.
When I came out Aiden was eating fried rice.
He cleared his throat and gulped his food down.
I was just testing the food, it's safe. You can eat it," he said, sincerely.
I smiled and sat in bed, dully.
I heard Ace is coming today so, I will drop you at the airport and my man will take you away from all this… mess," he said.
It's okay, Aiden," I said.
He frowned.
Why? When you know anyone will kill you in this house," Aiden asked me, sympathetically.

Aiden stood up and left the room.
I put the food tray on the table and lay on the couch.
Everything felt slow, the brightness looked dull, and I felt empty.
Maybe Isaac never loved me. All these years I stupidly believed my brother cared for me.
He just used me.

I closed my eyes.

My eyes were flung open when I heard gunshots.

I got out of bed and ran inside the bathroom.
I splashed some water on my face.

I flinched at its sound, I tried to breathe properly.
I opened the door, trembling.

Mam, Boss wants to meet you," the guard said in a monotone.
I nodded and looked down in fear.
My hands did not stop shaking, it was getting worse.
We started to walk in silence. I was greedily taking big lumps of breath.
When we reached the living room I saw some guards back and it was sure that everyone was gathered in the hall.

He was sitting on the sofa looking dangerous.

Aiden stood up but Ace yelled, furiously.
SIT DOWN," Ace said, vindictively.
Ace looked at me stonily.
He hates me now. He despises me.
I felt tears coming out of my eyes involuntarily. I gulped and looked away from him.
Mini, come here," he said.
I wanted to scream that it's not my fault, don't hate me but I can't.
Ace," Alex said.
"I heard everything you said, now shut your fucking mouths before I rip out your tongue from your mouths," he said, clenching his jaw.
I walked towards him and stood in front of him, silently hoping the floor would swallow me somehow.
He put his hand on my waist and made me sit on his lap.
I felt his hand on my neck bruise and he started to check my body.
He put his head on my shoulder and wrapped his hand around my waist tightly.

I looked up, shocked.
I felt the guys looking at Ace confused, shocked, perplexed.
Ace took a deep breath and left a firm yet gentle kiss on my bruise.
I killed them, Mini, whoever touched you and I will kill if anyone will touch you," he said, looking straight into my eyes.
Can you just stop this bullshit, because of her, Hudson could get killed," Alex said, furiously standing up.
I looked down in shame. If I didn't get the gift from Isaac it wouldn't have happened.
Ace said something to Ares, one of the loyal guards in the house.

Ace POV:

I kissed her cheeks and stroked her sore cheeks.
She looked thin and tired. Her eyes were glossy and red, she is still trembling slightly.

I picked up the food and put it on Iris's lap.
She shook her head and fiddled with her sleeves.
I sighed and fed her the mac and cheese.
She opened her mouth and ate it, hesitatingly.
If she wanted to kill me, she would have done it before instead of planning like this," I said, looking at my fucking friends.
She could kill me at night when I slept, she could have poisoned me when she cooked for me but she didn't," I said, looking at my Mini lovingly.

I sighed and resumed feeding her the food.

She whined and hid her face inside my neck.

She started to back away but I grabbed her hand and put the pistol in the middle of my chest.
Go on, Mini bear," I said, smiling.
I saw the guys getting alert and ready to grab their guns.

She will do anything if she loves someone. Isaac is the only one whom she loves most.
I grabbed the gun from her hand and placed it on the center of her head, firmly.
She looked at me, shocked, and wiped her tears away.
Last time when I pointed a gun at her head she was afraid, scared, trembled in fear.
But this time she stood without moving back, accepting this already.
I dragged the tip from her head to her heart and pressed against it.
I can't kill you, Mini," I said, pulling her closer to me and joining our forehead.
Please, don't kill him," She murmured.
I guessed it was her brother but now it is confirmed.
I started to walk away, clenching my jaw.
Suddenly, I felt a hand wrapping around my ankle. It was Iris.
Please, please, kill me I-I am sorry, please," Mini begged, desperately trying to save his brother.
I will do anything, beat me how much you want, I will do everything in this house or whatever you say but leave him, please," she said, desperately.
I squatted down and removed the hair, which was covering her innocent face.
Please, Ace, for me don't kill him," she mumbled, her energy drained out.
I sighed and gulped. It hurts me to see her like this.
I tucked her hair behind her ears.
You know your brother used you, he doesn't love you," I said, trying to make her understand.
But he's the only family I have left," she whispered, looking at me.
He's a douchebag, he doesn't deserve your love or forgiveness," I said, not breaking eye contact.
Family can have flaws, but that doesn't mean you can cut them out," she said, putting her hand on my cheeks.
For me Ace," She whispered, begging through her eyes.
I nodded and started to walk toward my room without glancing back at her.
"For me" It was just words for others but, for me, it is a curse…
