For the past two days.
She is avoiding me but she talks to me.
She is ignoring me but at the same time, she's not.
Ugh...Fuck.
Last night she slept on the couch.
No good night, no massages, she didn't even look at me when I entered the room.
She makes breakfast, lunch, and dinner and eats with me.
But in uncomfortable silence.
She only talks with me when I ask her to do something and when she asks me if I want something to eat.

I was angry and irritated at that time when I said those words. But I didn't tell her to stop talking to me.
A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.
Come in," I said and fixed my posture on my seat.
Iris came inside carrying my tea.
She put it on the table and started to walk away.
She didn't even bother to look at me. Stubborn.
Ace," Iris said, turning around.
Are you free tomorrow," She asked, looking at her hands like she has six fingers now.
No," I said, coldly.
She nodded and left.
Maybe I am being stubborn.
I stood up ready to talk to her and maybe apologize or something.
But I heard my phone buzzing.
I picked up the call, irritatingly.
Ace. Ace, my dear friend," I heard Ivan's voice.
What do you want," I replied, peevishly.
Ok, straight to the point," Ivan said and paused.
I heard shuffling sounds and he cleared his throat.
Let's meet tomorrow at 6 in the evening in your mansion," he said in a delightful tone.
Just us, boss," he added, persuasively.
If you played your tricks. I will tell my man to kill your little bear, she's not always safe," he laughed and ended the call.
I released a breath, calming myself.
Where in the hell is he hiding?
It was past 10 in the night.

I am going tomorrow," she said and kissed my cheeks, gently.
Your friends will come back to you soon," she said and started to walk away.
I stood there, emotionlessly.
Is she hiding something?
Is someone threatening you," I asked.
She smiled, sorrowfully.
No," she said and left.
I felt my heart beating fast, my throat felt dry.
Is she leaving me forever?
Ivan POV:
Finally, the time has come.
I smiled and left my room, satisfied.
Master," Isaac greeted and bowed, respectfully.
I sat inside the car.
Master, what if he plans something else," Isaac asked while driving the car.
He's an asshole off course he would do his tricks, the crew has arrived there right," I asked. Isaac nods.

After half an hour we arrived at Ace's house.
It was empty. No guards, no maids.
I got out of the car, adjusting my pistol in a handgun holster.
Let's go," I said and started to walk inside the house.
She's coming right," I asked again, checking the surroundings cautiously.
Yes master but why does she have to come here," Isaac asked.

And there he was… the devil.
Sitting in the middle of the hall, sipping his wine. All alone.
Ace," I said, smiling.
Ivan," Ace said, emotionlessly.
What do you want," Ace said, calmly.
But I know he is boiling in anger inside.
Well, let's stop playing like kids and talk like adults now, shall we?" I said, sitting on the couch.
A thunder rumbled and the room was filled with intense silence.

I stood up and sat beside Ace, comfortably.
Look, Ace tonight I am going to kill you, brutally," I said, smiling.
Ok, can you tell me how Iris knows about Laurie," Ace asked, frowning.
I just looked at him confused.
When did you start talking instead of fighting," I said, suspiciously.
Well, I am confused this time," Ace said, shrugging.
Well I happened to know about her years ago and I liked her at first sight but now I think I would like to marry her and make love to her every night," I said.
Fuck, I saw Ace's eyes turning darker in anger and Isaac's shocked face.
I am serious, Ace. I love her cute face, her perfect body under the baggy clothes," I said, chuckling.
And also your friends left you and your little girl will also leave you now," I said, standing up.
I checked my phone looking at her location. She's here.
She is still with me," Ace said, smirking.
Not anymore," I said and took out my gun from the holster.
Ace stood up, growling irritatingly, and stood in front of me.
I expected more from you but this," Ace said looking at me.
Oh! Don't worry Ace I am not gonna shoot you," I said, sinisterly.

Ace's face morphed in confusion.
Ivan's body was lying on the floor, a cascade of blood going down from his shoulder and chest.
I placed the gun in Ace's hand forcefully.
ACE! Why did you do that," I yelled and knelt beside his body.
What the fuck are you doing," Ace said, exaggerating.
Ivan open your eyes," I said, aloud.
Ace POV:
THUD.
I saw Iris standing in front of the door, in front of her a small box was lying on the floor.
Iris, what are you doing here," Ivan said, standing up.
Iris' eyes never left Isaac's lifeless body which was on the floor.
She walked forward and knelt beside him and put Isaac's head on her lap.
I saw her tears which came out of her eyes helplessly rolling down her cheeks.
She hugged Isaac and let out a muffled scream.
Her cries were echoing in the whole house.
Isaac, please don't leave me," she screamed.
She lifts her head, gasping for air.
WHY! WHY! WHY!," she screamed at Isaac gripping his collar.
She looked at me, breathing heavily.
She looked at my hand. That's when I realized the gun was still in my hand.
"Mini, no it's,"
DON'T CALL ME THAT!!!," she screamed, gasping.
She stood up, wiping her tears.
Iris, I am sorry I couldn't save him," Ivan said.
I saw Ivan smirking and left the room.
You lied, you killed him," Iris said looking into my eyes.
You could have said that you're going to kill him but NO! YOU BROKE MY TRUST," she said.

My family died in front of me, I couldn't tell them I love them one last time," she said.
She came forward and pushed me.
TELL ME! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!," she pushed me again and again.
She hit my chest and cried while gripping my shirt, furiously.
You're a mistake, you're always been a mistake in my life," She whispered.
I regret it. I regret every single thing. I regret that I trust you, I regret that I believed in you, I REGRET THAT I LOVED YOU," she fell on the floor, crying hard.
I believed you always no matter what people say about you because I loved you from the start," she said, her head hung low.
I always loved you but you didn't, you also used me for your selfishness," she said.
I wish you didn't save me that day," she stood up and looked at me.
She looked at me, gasping for breath, and left.
Everything felt frigid. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks.
I wiped it and ran out of the room.
It was raining hard.
I ran outside searching for her.
She loved me, all this time she fucking loved me…
I saw Ivan hugging Iris outside the gates.
I fisted my hands and walked toward him, enraged.
I pushed Ivan away from her and launched a punch on his jaw.
He fell letting out a painful scream.
IVAN," Iris screamed.
I saw her helping him.
I grabbed her arm and started to drag her away from his disgusting presence.
LEAVE ME ACE," she screamed and tried to release her.
I HATE YOU," she yelled.
I left her hand and gripped her jaw.
You hate me, why? Because I didn't tell you that your brother was the one who killed your parents or he never cared for you that he just pretended all the fucking time, that he never think of you as his sister. He despises you all the fucking time. HE NEVER LOVED YOU," I screamed in her face.
Our breathing was hard.
Your lying Isaac h-he..," she stuttered, gasping.
I have never been a good boyfriend to you but I promise I am not lying and I didn't kill him," I said, my tears flowing down my eyes and mixing with the raindrops.
She pushed me away, angrily.
You're lying," she said, aloud.
I chuckled, sadly.
You said you will believe me until you stop breathing or till you die," I whispered.
She wiped her tears roughly and sucked in her breath.
Then who killed him," she asked.
Ivan," I said looking into her eyes.
What, you saw the gun in his hand," Ivan argued.
Iris looked away biting her lips and started to walk away.
Mini, please stay with me," I begged.
She didn't stop.
MINI," I screamed, desperately.
She was not turning around.
IRIS I LOVE YOU," I screamed at the top of my lungs.
And just like that she started to disappear in the darkness.
AHH!," I fell to my knees groaning.
My head hurts. When I touched the back of my head.
It was bleeding. Fuck, Ivan.
When I looked back Ivan had an iron rod in his hand.
Let's end this here," Ivan said, coldly.
That night you killed my family, tonight I am killing you," He said and struck the rod on my calf.
I fell to the ground groaning.
He struck again and again and again.
The pain was overwhelming.
You know if Iris stayed this time with you. I would have killed her by now, but I guess she's lucky tonight," Ivan said, taking out a pocket knife.
Ahhh!," I screamed when Ivan slashed my chest with a knife.
He gripped my collar and lifted my head vigorously.
Fight back," he yelled and laughed.
Maybe I don't want to this time. I am tired this time.
I closed my eyes, sorrowfully.
My friends left, a girl who loved me selflessly and I broke her heart every single time for my selfishness.
Maybe you were right Mom, not everyone deserves to be loved.
But my Mini made me feel like I deserved all the love in this world. She made me feel special.
But I lost everything now.
My friends who stick with me whenever I made a fucked up decision.
My friends who fought for me every single time.
My Mini who trusted me, cared for me, and loved me always.
I lost it…
I wish that night if I controlled myself this wouldn't have happened.
There was a time when I craved love, affection, peace, and care from someone.
But all I got was beatings, coldness, and hate.
So, I decided to not expect anything and to find my peace.
Then I started to kill people brutally, mercilessly.
The way they beg, their screams, their blood, their tears.
It satisfied me. The blood satisfied me.
But now I want her. Only her.
I opened my eyes and felt pain.
My head was hurting, my ears were ringing and I felt my pulse slowing down.
I sucked in a breath and coughed blood.
Ace, wake up," I heard my Mini's voice screaming.
She's gone but I could hear her voice.
It's inside my head.
Her voice rang in my ears.
"It's okay"
"It's, Okay Ace"
"I will believe you until I breathe or till I die"
"Sometimes the past can be more comforting than the present"
Maybe now I know what she meant that time.
She was a comfort in my past.
I couldn't tell her I loved her one last time…
