"Hey munchkin, you know mummy misses you too right?" Laurel asked Nicole who looked moody on her screen as the were talking on FaceTime.
"I know, mummy. But it's tough her without you." Nicole told her with a gentle voice.
"Tough? How darling? Is Aunt Ava not doing well taking care of you?"
"Of course she's doing her best mummy. It's just... I miss you is all." She said and Laurel smiled willfully.
"Same her munchkin." She replied. "Don't worry, it won't be long now. In a matter of days, we'd be back and no more missing me, okay?"
"No more missing us, she means." David corrected as he stole in by the side of the screen to talk to his daughter.
"Daddy!" Nicole squealed happily.
"How's my favorite princess doing?" David asked as Laurel slowly handed him the laptop and slid off the bed to give him enough space.
"Doing awesome, but missing you guys a lot." Nicole chirped.
