David was sitting in wait in his penthouse when the doorbell rang and Laurel and Nicole came in, in the company of Ava. Immediately Nicole saw him, she squealed and ran to hug him tightly.
"Daddy!"
"My princess!" David responded happily and carried her up and round.
"David," Laurel greeted indifferently.
"Hey," David acknowledged with just a nod.
"Hi David." Ava greeted too and he nodded towards her with a smile still holding unto his daughter tightly.
"Welcome to your new home." He finally said when he let go of Nicole just as the driver and his housekeeper were bringing in their luggages.
"Hmmm," Nicole hummed, "I love it." She shouted happily. "I've never been to a penthouse before."
"Welcome ma'am," Laurel heard someone say behind them and turned to see a fairly old woman standing there with a happy smile on her face.
"Oh, hello." Laurel acknowledged.
