"What? You're getting married next month?" Fei Fei couldn't conceal her surprise upon hearing Elena's unexpected news.
As Elena's secretary, she really knows what the woman does, except for Saturdays and Sundays, and all this time, Fei Fei knows that Elena hadn't made any wedding preparations whatsoever.
Elena, seated comfortably in her pink leather chair, remained composed. "I simply want to get it done as soon as possible. You know, before summer slips away," she replied calmly.
"Can you find a good wedding planner? I initially wanted to handle it myself, but given our limited time, I think it's better to bring in a professional," said Elena, explaining the reason why she called Fei Fei this morning.
"Okay, I'll look for it." Fei Fei nodded, signifying her understanding. However, her expression shifted, revealing her deeper concerns.
