"System, how much do you think I can get for selling all the beast cores I've gathered so far?" Justin asked.
(I cannot calculate that since you've acquired both big and small beast cores as well as rare ones!)
Justin grinned.
"In other words, I'm a rich man!" He said. "But first, I'd like to buy some weapons. I think I need one or two!"
(User has some rare items gotten from the magic beasts he killed. Would you like to transform them into weapons?)
"Hm," he opened the inventory and saw all the rare items he picked up. "Alligators eyes, Jaguars claw, Falcon feather, Pieces fin… " he kept looking. There was nothing that was worth making into a weapon until he found… "Sabertooth fangs!" His face lit up.
He had fought magic beasts called Black sabertooth! It had really big fangs that were unbreakable and really sharp. Its claws and skins were also rare materials but the fangs were the most precious.
"Black sabertooth is a high level magic beasts. I still can't believe I killed it with a hammer!"
(And now we pray for the hammer to rest in peace!)
"Haha!" He shoved his hand in the inventory and brought out the fangs. "I can make a fortune if I sell these but at the same time, I won't be able to see such amazing materials to make a weapon with." He kept them in a bag. "I'll make fine use of you, my babies!"
(Does the user need anything else?)
"Oh, I'd like to buy a cloak as well! Everyone knows me, I don't want to attract any unwanted attention!" He stated.
There were different types of cloaks and Justin felt exhausted just looking at their prices.
"Really, even cloaks are expensive? Are you running a business with my points or what?"
(They're not regular cloaks!)
"Oh yeah?"
Justin tapped on one.
(This cloak allows the user to hide his face. It's like a dark cloud covering his appearance so no one can recognize him!)
Justin rubbed his chin while thinking about it. It was really a nice cloak.
"Alright, I'll take…" As soon as he saw the price, he almost flipped. "... Why is this so expensive? 1000 points? What am I, a point machine?"
(That's… )
"And don't even say it's a discounted price! This is clearly a rip off!" He ranted. "There's no way I'm buying it."
That was what he said but somehow, he ended up buying it.
"I've been bewitched!" He claimed.
He stood in front of the adventurers guild. That was the only place he could sell the beast cores without getting suspected.
He walked in and saw a lot of adventurers gulping down booze with no restraint. They seemed to be upset about something.
"Argh, I can't believe the magic beasts are so few these days. I can't even find low level beasts!" A skinny adventurer said and gulped down on his booze.
"I know right? It's like someone woke up one day and annihilated half of the magic beasts in the forest!"
"Is that even possible?" A gruff looking adventurer asked with disbelief in his tone.
"It could!"
"Well, if I catch that someone, I'm gonna make him pay for all our wasted efforts!" The big man bragged and gulped down on his booze.
Justin got an eerie feeling from the adventurers. Who knew that someone they were looking for was right where they were.
'It's not my fault you guys didn't get to hunt any magic beasts. I mean, the forest has been there the whole time. You guys just didn't have the skills to hunt them down!' Justin thought and stopped at the front desk.
"Hello!" The cute busty girl at the front desk greeted with a smile. "What can I help you with?"
"Well, I'd like to sell my beast cores!" He said and she nodded, thinking it was like every other adventurer's loot.
'Such a mysterious aura!' the girl thought. 'I wonder how many beasts he was able to kill?'
Justin brought out the little bag from his waist and dropped it on the desk but when she looked at the contents, she screamed in disbelief.
"What's wrong? Did I give you the wrong bag?" He looked down at his waist, the other bag was with the fangs so it was correct. "What's with the reaction?"
"These… " she brought out one of the cores and it sparkled red. "These are high level beast cores!" She said and this caught the ears of the adventurers.
"Yeah? Is there a problem with selling high level beast cores?" He asked, still oblivious of the situation he had gotten himself into.
"Not at all!" She shook her head. "There are rarely magic breasts in the forest these days so it's rare to see someone with this many magic beasts cores and their all high level ones at that!"
'High level? But I killed them so easily.' Justin thought. 'If these can be called high level, then what about the others that I actually know are high level?' he scratched his chin.
"Can I see your adventurers card?" She suddenly asked and Justin smiled in a crooked way.
"Well, I'm not really an adventurer!" He said and her eyes widened.
"What?! Not an adventurer?"
"Huh, no!" He said and she blinked.
"Please, come in! You'll have to meet the guild master!" She said and he stared at her confused.
"Why do I have to meet your guild master?" He asked, feeling he was getting himself involved in what he shouldn't be. "I just want to sell my beast cores. If I can't do them here then I'll go to another… "
"No! Please stay!" She adamantly said.
'I think I got myself involved in something troublesome!' he thought
The girl at the desk hurried to get the guild master and all the while, the adventurers kept their eyes on Justin, wondering who he was and how he was able to get so many high level beast cores.
The guild master came out with the desk girl to see who it was but seeing that he couldn't see the face of this mysterious man, he concluded that he was someone of a high status who didn't want to be known.
"Please, will you come inside for a moment? I would like to speak to you concerning where to put your money!" He said and that got Justin moving.
