At the same time Justin was carrying out his daily quests in the simulation space, the main temple at the centre of the capital received an oracle from the gods.
A bright white light shot down from the heavens and descended on the temple's holy ground. The dark purple sky immediately cleared out and revealed the beautiful sky once more.
The priests that were present, those who had their faith in the gods and retained a bit of holy power, shouted out in praise.
"The gods have heard our cries and want to save us from the darkness!"
"The gods have sent down their message. Quick, call the priestess. The word of god must be interpreted immediately!"
The young priestess, cladded in white apparel from her head down to her toe, arrived at the holy ground and as soon as she saw the light of the Oracle, fell face down in adoration.
"The gods have heard our prayers. Give him thanks!" She lifted her head and clasped her hands together. "Lords, give me the power to interpret your words!"
She got up and approached the Oracle. As soon as she touched it, her big golden eyes glowed like never before.
'This is truly the power of the gods' she thought. 'It's so warm and assuring'
When the light faded, she bowed her head and thanked the gods.
"Priestess Kayla, what did the gods say?"
"They have chosen their vessel and he is in this capital. He will purge humanity of the darkness as well as all living beings." She quoted but then, she fell silent. 'But it's strange, the gods, they sounded like they weren't exactly sure of their words. Was it just my imagination?'
"The gods' chosen?"
"Isn't that a title that is bestowed once in a millennium?"
"I can't believe I am alive to witness such a miracle. We are saved. The gods' chosen has arrived!"
"The person chosen by the gods must be an upright and holy man!"
"Quick, we must inform the imperial family and find him as soon as possible. Peace in our time is fast approaching."
Priestess Kayla stared at the Oracle and thought, 'It was definitely my imagination. I wonder what type of person the holy man is?'
The imperial family immediately got the news and the king laughed out heartily and in joy.
"This is great news!" He laughed. "My reign will be blessed thanks to the appearance of this holy man. I will go down in history as the king who fought along gods' chosen to bring back peace in the land."
His subordinates couldn't help but smile but deep down, they thought, 'Is that really what you're concerned about, sire?'
"Quick, we must find the holy man bestow him the title for all to know. Such a man must not stay unknown. Spread the words of the gods, let the holy man know we are looking for him." The king gave out his orders and his courier bowed and departed at once.
The king kept laughing at this related news.
"Holy man, I will make the whole world know your name!"
Meanwhile, the so-called holy man was in the simulation space and in a really embarrassing position as he held onto his squat for the last minute.
Sweat visibly poured down his bare body and he held his breath, trying not to fall because then, he'd have to start all over again.
'How much longer?' he kept holding it in and from anyone's point of view, he looked like he was either forcing out a 'shit' with all his might or holding in a fart.

At the sound of that, Justin stood up straight, as per Sally's instructions and as soon as he counted down from five, fell back like a dead man. It was finally over. The hellish squat was over.
'Will I keep doing this everyday? I'm gonna die at his rate!' he thought and Sally walked up to him. "That's the last one, right?" He asked but she smiled and shook her head.
"You still have to jog two thousand metres!" She reminded and he looked over at the quest.

"You can do it!" Sally encouraged with two thumbs up but he simply stared at her with narrow eyes.
"Is that supposed to be some sort of encouragement?"
"Then, what would you like me to do?" She asked na she sized her up from top to bottom. Such a lovely girl was merely a simulation, what a waste.
"Maybe a kiss on the cheek?"
"System does not understand that function!" She said in a plain voice and he quickly gave up.
"Then at least lessen the exercise a bit!" He changed bad, she smiled. He thought she was about to agree but she bluntly refused.
"No!"
"You didn't have to be so blunt! But I'm not disappointed cause I already guessed it would be a no show!" He got up, though his legs felt feeble, he didn't want to look bad in front of Sally.
"Say Sally, how am I doing so far?" He asked, flexing his arms.
"You're doing great!" She encouraged.
"Thanks! There better be something great once I'm done with the daily quests."
"Don't worry, there is!"
Justin began his jogging but with his legs feeling all feeble and weak from the squat, he couldn't help but feel strained.
His muscles were giving out but he was trying his best not to fall in order not to look bad in front of Sally.
'I must be crazy trying to look good in front of a mere simulation but I can't help it. My pride will be crushed if she sees me fall!' he breathed in and then let it out, feeling a rush of confidence boost. 'Anyway, it's a nice feeling having a pretty lady watch me exercise.'
Once the jogging was done, Justin could be likened to a zombie.
"Water~~" he demanded and Sally gave him a bottle of water.
"You've worked hard!" She encouraged with two thumbs up and that gave him the impression that that was the only thing the system programmed her to do as a form of encouragement.
'Tch, boring!'
