Inside the vast void of space, a glowing ball of light could be seen zooming through space, passing by hundreds of star systems in seconds.
Unfortunately, in the entire galaxy it passed through, there wasn't a single planet that housed living intelligent beings.
As the soul sphere continued to move at remarkable speeds, the glow that surrounded it slowly grew smaller.
As the seconds passed, Dian's soul sphere left the galaxy, while its speed of moving continued increasing, it passed through many galaxies in seconds. Eventually, after passing through an incomprehensibly monstrous distance, it arrived near a large blue planet, 80% of the planet's surface was covered in seas and oceans. Coincidentally, the vital energy glow that covered the soul sphere and was used to fuel its journey, has almost run out, slowing down immensely, Dian's soul entered the world's atmosphere.
As the glowing ball was approaching the ground, the glow of vitality that covered it disappeared, and it slowed down, as if coming to a stop.
Instead of the white glow of vitality that wrapped it throughout its journey through space, it was now revealed to be a glowing ball of ethereal multicolored light.
The moment the soul sphere was uncovered from the vital energy glow, and came in contact with the surroundings, Dian's consciousness recovered.
Looking around, Dian realized he was floating above a massive continent.
'What a strange dream, I feel so light' he began floating around for a while before recovering his memories.
'Wait, in my last memory I was on the verge of dying after the fight with the Curved Claw Ape, I seem to remember that I might've awakened a Deviant Ability, does this situation have anything to do with that fact?'
'I don't have a body, but I can still move around, I can see, but I don't have any eyes. What a strange feeling, is this what the soul is?'
While Dian was thinking about his situation, a strange feeling covered him.
'I have to find somewhere to put my soul urgently, I have this feeling that if I don't find a body for my soul soon, my soul will dissipate and I will die'
Dian's began controlling his soul sphere to quickly descend from the sky towards the landmass beneath him. His speed was way slower than before, because now, he didn't have the support of the vital energy to boost him, his movement solely depended on his soul energy. Moving slowly, after 3 hours he finally arrived at a rural village.
Moving around, he looked at the many different people living in the village, floating next to them, he noticed that he was invisible to them. Once he got near people, he would feel a sudden feeling of attraction, as if his soul told him to enter their body and replace their soul.
As time passed, that feeling grew until it became unbearable, Dian who was floating between the houses of the villagers decided to try and take over the body of a young man walking through the village.
As he approached the young man's soul, he began feeling a strong feeling of rejection that prevented him from continuing forwards into the man's head to replace his soul.
This feeling was the natural rejection of foreign energies from entering the sea of consciousness.
Dian soul began glowing with a rainbow light, as it released this glow, it consumed its own soul energy and grew smaller and weaker, soon, his glowing soul passed through the young man's forehead and entered his brain, arriving into the sea of consciousness.
Unbeknownst to the young man inside the dark place that always illuminated by a single ball of glowing while light, appeared a second ball of light, the new foreign ball of light was multicolored. This ball was Dian's soul sphere.
As Dian approached the young man's soul sphere, their soul energies began fighting, very quickly, Dian multicolored soul overwhelmed the young man's soul in the struggle, and even though Dian's soul was of higher tier, it consumed a lot of energy to enter the young man's sea of consciousness, so in this struggle between the souls it too suffered from the young man's soul and grew even weaker and smaller.
Dian weakened soul began absorbing the young man's defeated soul, which was still weaker than his.
Soon, the young man walking through the street stopped and sat down while clutching his head, he felt the greatest headache he had ever felt, he felt as if his head was going to explode.
Eventually, the young man stood up again, this time, on his face appeared an expression of jubilation, and he seemed to give off a different vibe from before.
