Chapter 19 - Senior disciple Zhang Han quarters

Their sexual desire, they won't feel any sexual desire as long as they take that tea," she explained, her brows raised at me as I gazed at her in shock.

Rubbish! That's one thing I'm never going to believe about that cheat. He's a womanizer, but what does this girl know? He had deceived everyone into believing him as a righteous and holy disciple. Chaste herb tea, more like active herb tea, I thought, with an outburst of laughter that made the girl stare at me in confusion.

Ding...

"It's the bell. I really have to go now, my lady. We're already at senior disciple Zhang Han's quarters. You can ask around for the location if you need any help," she said, pointing to an entrance guarded by two guards before taking her leave hurriedly. She also handed over the tray containing my robe and name plate to me.

"What the hell! What's so special about the damn bell that had her running hurriedly and leaving me all by myself?" I yelled angrily, with no one to reply to me as I watched her disappear out of sight.

I moved closer to my new master's quarters, and the guards asked for my name plate, which I showed them before they allowed me in. Behold, it was like another paradise. The place was screaming wealth, with maids performing their duties. No one paid any attention to me as they were all busy with their tasks.

"Mount Hua is really good at spoiling their disciples. How can someone get all these luxuries?!" I exclaimed, with my mouth open.

I better go ahead and change before meeting the bastard, I thought with a smirk, and hurriedly entered a room, shutting the door slowly, only to be startled by a tall figure. I dropped the tray that had my robe and name plate on the floor.

"Zhang Han!" I yelled, raising my gaze to the tall figure who also seemed surprised to see me.

"Have we met before?" he asked, his face scrunched up as he tried to remember something.

I better remain calm. I can't let him remember our encounter at the inn, or my stay here would be difficult, I thought.

"Never! Where can I possibly meet someone like you? Your humble disciple greets you, senior disciple," I said, with my head slightly bowed.

"Raise your head," he commanded, and I could sense seriousness in his tone.

What is going on in his mind? I can't let him recognize me, I thought, keeping my head still bowed.

"Raise your head," he said for the second time.

I have no choice but to do his bidding this time, I thought, after which I raised my head, forcing out a fake smile.

"The restaurant! Yes, the restaurant girl!" he yelled, his gaze fixed on me, his eyes burning with anger.

Damn! What should I do next? Should I just lie?

"Don't bother to lie, it's you. You even dare to come to Mount Hua after ruining my reputation at the restaurant. You said I did something then, I want you to repeat what I did," he yelled in annoyance.

Did I say that out loud or can he read minds? I thought.

"I... I'm... I really don't know what you're talking about. You've got the wrong girl," I stammered, trying to think of something to say. Afterward, I hurriedly picked up my robe and name plate, ready to take my leave.

"Yeah, yeah, you can't know what I'm talking about," said Zhang Han, pulling me back by my hair.

"Ouch! Let go of my hair, you bastard," I cried, trying to free myself from him.

"Of course I will, but you have to tell me when we both had anything intimate. And oh, your friend, I would love to know about that part too," he said with a smirk.

"It's painful. I hate it when someone pulls my hair. You're going to regret this," I said, still wincing in pain, trying to escape, but he sure had a good grip.

"Explain what you mean then. How did we both meet? Because I've tried to remember but just can't. So kindly explain," he said.

"Were you ashamed of being ridiculed and insulted by the people? You deserve it, you shameless asshole," I said, with a smirk plastered on my face.

"You... You're messing with the wrong person, girl," he said, letting go of my hair, only to pick up my name plate.

"Give me that!" I yelled, trying to retrieve the name plate from him, but to no avail, as he was taller than me. Him leaning on his toes with his hand raised up was not going to make it possible to defeat him.

"Yang Hua! You're my new disciple. I'll keep this," he said, his eyes screaming an evil plot.

Just what is he planning to do to me? I mustn't lose my name plate. What is this scoundrel trying to do? I thought, anger written all over my face.

"You've already offended your seniors on your first day. Just how much trouble do you keep with you? Anyway, I'll be keeping this until you explain what you meant at the inn. Hurry up and change your clothes to resume duty. I'll be waiting here for you," he said with a smile.

"What kind of senior sleeps with his girlfriend's friend?!" I yelled, as he moved closer, covering my mouth with his hands.

"You sure have a death wish. Say more words and I'll strike you dead this instant. I've never done anything like that, and I never will!" he yelled with an angry expression.

"I don't expect you to accept it. Just wait until I grow stronger, then we'll see who would strike someone dead," I said, my eyes burning with anger.

"I'm supposed to punish you, but I'll spare you since today is your first day. Hurry up and change. Your duty starts after you've worn your robe," he said, turning his face away from me.

I stormed outside in annoyance, only for my eyes to meet the words "Senior Disciple Zhang Han" written boldly and hung up at the entrance of the room.

Why didn't I see this earlier? That bastard! I thought, fuming with anger as I made my way out of the premises to look for an empty room to change my robe.
